I can't rate this place highly wlenough for its food, decent coffee and friendly service. Something that's sadly missing from other coffee shops. Great food! Great coffee - Keep it up!!!!!!

Disappointed My Cortadk and double espresso were bitter sour and unpalatable. Prices too high - cakes looked unappealing and overpriced. Ambience is so-so Service disappointing the staff gave me a dirty look when I asked for a straw and sighed. I won’t be back ! From their own website 👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽 WHY DOES MY COFFEE TASTE BITTER OVER EXTRACTION Over extraction in coffee brewing occurs when there's too much contact time or too fine a grind is used, leading to excessive extraction of unwanted compounds from the coffee grounds. This includes bitter-tasting compounds such as tannins and chlorogenic acids. When coffee is over extracted, these bitter compounds overpower the pleasant flavours, resulting in a bitter and harsh taste. Achieving the perfect balance of extraction is crucial in brewing coffee to highlight its desirable flavours while avoiding the bitterness that can ruin the overall taste experience.

Aesthetically pleasing, very spacious, staff friendly but coffee a big let down, very little flavour, flat white was all foam. I feel this is going to be yet another coffee shop trying to be trendy but with no sustenance. Hoping they’ll get better with time but a new opening kinda needs to get it right off the bat. Looking at sandwich display they look nice in the display fridge but all are un wrapped which would be fine if dividers are in use but had different filled baguettes touching each other with different allergens such as tuna melt baguette touching a coronation chicken baguette, not great cross contamination control. Also had cake’s potentially containing nuts on the shelf above these open sandwiches which for me is a big no no. So much potential but a long way to go

Coffee shop in Crawley library. I had a cappuccino here a while back and it was so good that I thought it must have been a fluke. However I have had three more cappuccinos here in the past two days and they were all excellent. It really is good coffee. Plenty of seating inside and outside.

Had an excellent experience at the Coaching Halt today. Went with a friend who has allergies. We were looked after by Laila and she could not have been more friendly and helpful, particularly re the allergies. Additionally, Nicole also looked after us and, again, was particularly helpful re my friend’s allergies. Food was good, the restaurant is comfortable and welcoming and the staff are brilliant. Thank you Laila and Nicole.

Each time we stay at Premier Inn at Gatwick's North Terminal, we have dinner in-house at Thyme Restaurant as it is far more convenient than going elsewhere or suffering the limited, bad-valued terminal food. This time we booked out dinner slot as soon as we checked-in. for 5pm. From experience, if you simply show up you can expect to be accommodated in the restaurant after 9pm as they are always crazy busy. We had a meal deal. We hadn't realised that kids eat free breakfast so it's better to just pay the menu price for kids' food. Our extras with drinks totaled another £30 but that was okay. The meal deal is something to seriously consider as £30 per person for a dinner may not be worth it if you don't ordinarily order 2 courses. We don't usually have an appetiser so it turned out to be not good value for us as our mainstay is usually a fish n' chips. The food was fine. But what stood out to us was the service. Mandalin, our server, was on-point and provided exceptional, attentive service! Thanks to him, our meal went from okay to amazing!

The BEST takeaway in Crawley. For years, I've always been a bit of a food snob and would never eat from burgers vans until I went for the first time on Monday. I had the best bacon sandwich with hashbrown I've ever eaten in my life. It was so good that I've eaten 3 sandwiches in the past 48 hours. Really can not fault it! Also, my friend always orders the chicken burger and says its one of her favourites in Crawley.
