But two hamburger chip rolls. One comes with fly basically cooked with the heat to the bottom of one of the rolls. Owner dingle. Refused refund. Says if I call back give me 2 more again. Then calls back a week later he says no only one we dispute. Business attitude is stinking as is his business do not recommend. Wouldn’t like to thin anyone else puys there good money and refused due to their poor hygiene. Do not recommend what this picture is real…absolute disgusting the fly is As bad for as the idiots attitude.

I would give them a zero if I could. Ordered a smoked sausage supper for my daughter, opted to collect. When I got there they made up the order on the spot amd I was given a battered sausage and informed they don't do smoked sausage. To add insult to injury I gave my name I got visibly laughed at for using my full name (my surname is a common one). I checked my Just Eat order and it clearly stated smoked sausage so maybe they need to take this up with Just Eat. And stop being misogynistic c***. Won't be recommending to my colleagues at the council.

Found a maggot in my 8 year old daughters food and was refused a refund!! This is disgusting as I have been going to the same chip shop for years without a problem until now, I was asked if I want a fresh one and I refused as my daughter wouldn’t eat it now knowing she just found a maggot in this one!! They then hung the phone up on me which I think is terrible customer service.

After moving house this is now our local chippy. It's great, friendly staff, and good food. The pizza in particular is really good.

Walked in here after struggling to find anywhere that would take our large group without a booking. We had a fantastic meal and great value for money. The portions are huge. Friendly and courteous staff.

Post lockdown lots of Edinburgh eateries have strict time limits for their kitchens with early cut off times for evening sittings, which means that if you've just hit town in the expectation of hot food in a big city you might be out of luck. Erbil was only a short stroll from my temporary home and crucially it was open. It didn't look like much from the outside but beggars could not afford to be choosers and get some grub inside them, so in we go. Having checked in later to see how it rated on TA I was delighted to see that Erbil is held in such high regard - not that many reviews, but nothing but five stars. I wouldn't go that far, as the fish cakes were pretty unappealing - but generally this was good stuff served up at speed and with a smile. Excellent fish in crispy batter, plenty of chips in a large portion to spread between three, no complaints and thanks for being there to fill some hungry stomachs.

I popped in to Erbil with a friend for lunch after reading great reviews. Thoroughly recommend the food and experience.

I came to erbil with my boyfriend for the first time. Since then, I have gone back on my own, as well as brought friends over time and time again. This place has the kindest, sweetest owner and really tasty food. The saffron ice cream is the best thing ever! I rarely go somewhere more than once but I’ve been here like 7 times.

I visit Erbil a couple times a week and it is always amazing. The owner is very friendly and always gives incredible service. Food is unreal, I sometimes have there veggie options and they make you not miss meat.

This place is great for a value lunch, with a two or three course set menu, but with a wider menu still reasonably priced. There are ample options for vegans, vegetarians or carnivores and for the latter the meat is well prepared and tender. For those who knew Nawroz restaurant on Potterow, this is its successor, reviving all that was good there including excellent, friendly service.

Stumbled upon this place near our apartment in Edinburgh and the food was delicious. Wide selection on menu from fish and chips to Kababs pizzas and much more. Staff very friendly and reasonable prices.
