Erbe Restaurant in Brighton and Hove

Would check out opening hours as arrived at 5:45 in Sunday and I lace was closed up and looked as if had been for a while as post on door mat

Our food was so good. We had the ham and mushroom pizza and the Italian burger. The waiter was the loveliest man! So attentive and kind. It’s such a lovely little restaurant.

We recently had a pizza from Erbe, the staff were lovely but the Pizza dough was clearly shop bought and flavourless and was similar to what you would find from the frozen Pizza section. The cheese and Tomato was also extremely bland and the pizza as a whole was burnt. I dont like complaining about an independant and granted the pizza was cheap but ive had pizza from there before and clearly they've decreased quality massively since then. Overall it felt like a cheap Supermarket Pizza to put it bluntly. The one saving grace is that the staff are genuinely lovely so with some added quality hopefully it will become a lil gem!

Delivery time stated 20 minutes, so when it took an hour and 10 minutes I was not surprised it was cold. No couldn’t be bothered to complain just won’t be back

If you are in Brighton or Rottingdean come to this nice place. The house red wine is very good and I am a wine snob so hard to please. The prawns were juicy and large excellent quality. The anti pasti.. meat was excellent t quality. The one starter I recommend is the gnocchi with palma ham ....savoury and delicious. I will come here again, the staff are very nice and it is a good location..

We visited with our three nieces. We were really well looked after and the food was great. We shared garlic mushrooms, prawns and calamari and all had pizzas except for one pasta dish. The pizzas were huge so we brought half home for lunch today. If you don't see what you want they will make adjustments if they can. The puddings were great - we could only manage to share a couple, but would have loved to have more. Lovely people. We'd go again!

We visited Erbe restaurant for the first time with my hubby on a Saturday night. It wasn't busy and staff were very friendly. It was a cold night and we were their first customers after they opened, therefore it was a bit cold, but they recommended we sit on the table closest to the heaters.We ordered gnocchi as a starter, they were tasty. We had ham and mushroom pizza and Caesar salad. The pizza was delicious, it was rich and the base was thin and a bit crunchy on the sides, just the way we like it. I've never tried Caesar salad with walnuts before, but I loved it! I have a small appetite, so the salad was perfect for me. I felt full after the starter and the salad. The chargrilled chicken was also good. We would definitely return, the pizza especially is good value for money.

The restaurant was empty and cold with no atmosphere or ambience. We had been meaning to try it for a few weeks so were very disappointed by the food. The prices were quite high so we expected something special but all our choices looked like half portions! The small pizzas also had a strange taste, like uncooked tomato purée and dried herbs, with an unauthentic crust and very little topping. My portion of pasta and my friend’s risotto were minuscule, a joke. My wife had sea bass for £12 - and got a small fish on a plate - that’s it! So that was why it was empty I suppose.

Almost industrial looking and certainly the fitout matches the theme with some great lighting but all that aside the cuisine part Italian pizza and chicken offered a reasonable choice. A warm welcome and attentive service we ordered from the menu and were impressed by the speed of delivery. Perhaps new to the scene and recently opened up in its presnr guise we wish them every success.

We were unbelievably suprised by the restaurant, the place is neat,the food is delicious, and a great deal too. All accompanied with friendly service. A must visit on a sunny day in Rottingdean.

The pizzas were really greasy and incredibly salty and pasta dishes were overcooked and bland. Two of us had stomach cramps that night so would definitely not recommend.

The restaurant is half Italian and half chicken food, we sat down in a very basic place, no decor, no atmosphere. We ordered a couple of plates of pasta for our young children, the portions were very small for the price, a handful of pasta with a plain tomato sauce does not warrant their charge. My husband and I shared a white cheese lover's pizza, I only had a few slices, it was very salty and did not taste Italian, more like an English version of an Italian pizza. The fries were sprinkled with dry herbs, not nice. On top of that everything was served in cardboard boxes as their kitchen was being worked on.... technically the restaurant should have been closed for any work being done in the kitchen. Health and Safety as well as hygiene... Would not frequent again!!

Had fabulous food but being served in card containers did not add to experience as I could not see the reasoning behind but great for takeaway..

Wasn't very busy. You can have food from the restaurant next to it as they are from the same owner... food was a bit more salty than needed. but pizzas and burgurs are great.

Just picked up a couple of delicious pizzas, salads n calamari and as ever, totally stuffed and totally stoked! Awesome food, awesome people. Love it!
