Came across this van on a walk. Omg this is honestly some of the best ice cream I’ve had in my 49 years!!!! We had waffle cones Cornish vanilla & honeycomb caramel which were absolutely delicious. I was so happy to see that they also catered for gluten free (my son is a Coeliac) - fully displaying which cones & ice cream were gluten free. Love this place & hope to visit again soon.

We've been twice this holiday, tempted back by the best ice-cream we've had in ages. Enid is friendly and full of local knowledge. Deserves 6 out of 5! Will be returning on our dog walks, could be a regular fixture!

We came across Enids Ices little blue jewel of a van with its home made ice lollies and local ice creams by chance when my sister and I were doing a bit of exploring around Mother Ivy's Bay, what a find for the tired traveller to have a lovely refreshment and a pleasant smile while sitting in the sun. Hope to return next year.

Wow! After an active cycle to Booby’s Beach it seemed rude not reward ourselves with some yummy treats. I have the elderflower and strawberry iced lolly!!! Gorgeous! My husband had mango and raspberry and our middle boy had one of the finest cookie dough ice creams we’ve ever tasted!! Thank you, we will be back for much more 🍦🍧🍭

Not only does the van sell really delicious ice cream with better than your usual ice-cream selection (even for Cornwall!) but its location on the little footpath on the way to Boobys and Constantine Bays makes it PERFECT for coffee on the way in and ice cream on the way home after a good day in the wonderful Trevose surf! Ginger Chunk was yum, but don't ignore the lollies...elderflower and strawberry was also refreshing and tasty!

Enid’s ices is setup close to the entrance to Mother Ivey’s Bay holiday park and has been a favourite of ours for many years. A really nice range of local ice creams and coffee too!

So good, best chocolate ice cream. Totally unexpected from an unsuspecting ice cream truck by a busy beach. Must try!

Lovely hot weather today in Cornwall. The sky was blue with white, wispy clouds. A cooling breeze blew off the sea. A good day for a walk & a picnic. Parked on the outskirts of St Merryn to walk to beautiful Booby's Bay (in the general direction of Trevose Head) over the golf course, using the public footpath. This is one of our favourite walks. Stunning scenery at any time of the year. Anyway, as if the day wasn't wonderful enough, we found the lovely little coffee & ice cream van open, about half way along our route. They have a couple of bistro tables set up, surrounded by planters full of flowers. They serve a tasty coffee plus Farmer Tom's Ice Cream. This is my partner's favourite ice cream...& he is very picky about it. (He is otherwise known as Mr Disappointment because his high expectations fall short. Ha ha.) They have some wonderful flavours. They have a standard list & a surprise flavour...at present it is Jaffa Cake! I'm not a big fan of ice cream & won't indulge unless it's really good. I had a hot expresso coffee with a "float" of Cornish Cream ice cream on top. It was delicious. My partner had an large waffle cone with his two favourite ice cream flavours...sea salted caramel & peanut butter. (£3.50) The whole thing was enormous! He was delighted. The best ice cream he has ever had. We sat in the baking hot sun, just up the sandy lane from the beach...savouring both the ice creams & the moment! Enid's Ices is in quite an isolated spot but this is part of it's charm. It is on the way to a part of the north coast/ coastal path that is truly stunning. Good for bird & butterfly spotting. It's well worth seeking it out. The cute little van is parked in a small lay-by (with some parking available if you are lucky) just beyond Mother Ivy's Bay campsite, on the road that skirts the golf course...in the direction of the sea. There is also a large (cheapish) car park at Trevose Head nearby. As far as I remember, Enid's offer various coffees, cookies (etc.), milk shakes & home-made ice lollies, including adult flavours such as G&T! Lovely staff too. They are on Facebook (with great comments) if you need more info or directions. Enjoy!

Whilst having a stroll around Mousehole we came upon the Orange Cafe Bar by chance with it being up a lane just away from the harbour. We did not immediately realise it was a vegan cafe but that was not an issue for us. The staff were warm and friendly, explaining the dishes so that we could make an informed choice. We went for the burger (patty) and cake, both of which were delicious. People often shy away from eating this type of food but on this showing they should give it a go, which saw two diners leave very happy.

I have been here four times now, its become a thing whenever we come to Newquay, tattoo before I go home. The staff are incredibly friendly and always chatting away when you're there. They make you feel like part of the family. It's clean, tidy, always smells so good woth the cakes and coffee, I always feel like I'm home when I go in.

Very good B&B in a very central location. But it is very expensive so 'value for money' comes into question. Very good cooked breakfast served in the mornings but for the money it should provide freshly squeezed orange juice.

We found our way to Freathy Farmhouse Cafe by following a sign from Whitsand Bay. What a lovely find! Very rustic and charming cafe. We sat outside in the sun and enjoyed very generous sandwiches served with delicious salad. Some of us even managed cake! We will definitely return although I understand it is best to check opening times. Ps Loved the decor in the loo!
