Walked up again, and they were closing an hour early due to having no food. Called them to ask and got nothing but attitude over the phone. Shame because it used to be a great chippy. Please change the opening times as they're NEVER open until 20:30. More like 19:30.

Poor quality food at over inflated prices! This place is the worst chippy in the Town guaranteed! Spend your hard earned cash elsewhere!

The best customer service I've had recently. I ordered the wrong item on just eat and based on my comment in the special request section they ascertained I had ordered incorrectly. Rather than send the ordered item, they took the time to call me and correct the order. The person I spoke with was polite and accommodating. She is an asset to your business. The food was above expectations, amazing. Definitely recommend!

Best chippy I’ve ever had. We ordered literally everything from fish, to pizzas to chicken wings… Hands down next level food. If you haven’t tried here you really ought to. Super quick delivery and piping hot on arrival. Salt and chilli wings are better than any I’ve ever had, even from the Chinese takeaways. Staff were polite and when we called to add fritters to the order, we were given them on the house. 10/10. New to the area, therefore 100% a new regular customer.

Rubbish and rude. Prices advertised aren’t adhered to. When I politely asked about this was abruptly told those were the prices they charge. On justeat, it’s £6 for a supper. Calling them directly - so avoiding them paying the justeat charge, they said it was £6.50. Where’s the sense in that ? Won’t be coming here again. Mr Chipz in the Westwood is far better both in service and in quality.

The best fish and chip shop in East kilbride. The fish and chips came hot and a generous portion. Their Equi's ice cream is amazing and it all comes in paper wrappers! Well done Emanuels

Ran out of fish, but it was quite late on on Sunday afternoon but what we had was large portions and piping hot.

Excellent local chippy, between here and Victors are the two best in EK

I can recommend this chip shop as their special fish is always good value and good quality. Their special fish comprises of two fish, however if you have a small appetite, then you can order a half a special which will give you one fair sized fish at a reduced price.

Food iwas good but my 4 different suppers where thrown down on the counter so hard the food nearly fell out when I lifted them as wrapping was open the offer of a bag may have helped improved customer service would be great ☺️

Just took 2 suppers home. The chips were cold, hard and dry. Tasted horrible. Seems they must have been made hours before and reheated? Will not be back.

Este lugar ha empeorado gradualmente en los últimos 6 meses, pero mi visita el domingo fue la gota que colmó el vaso.Pedí una cena estándar de pescado, cuando llegué a casa me di cuenta de que no habían usado la masa y parecía migas de pan amarillas.Entonces pensé que habían mezclado mi orden y tal vez esta era su versión de pescado especial (aunque no se veía bien en absoluto).Me dio un mordisco y estaba casi enfermo. . . sabía como si hubiera sido sumergido en un balde de agua sucia.Las patatas fritas también eran asquerosas.No soy demasiado quisquilloso, pero esto era totalmente incomible y tuve que tirar la comida completa.Es una pena ver un establecimiento una vez orgulloso tan cuesta abajo tan rápido.Yo 100% nunca volveré aquí.

Basically after having a couple of bad experience's I read on a local discuss page that I sm not the onlyone who has experienced crap chips. It is said that they keep getting bad potatoes delivered and then still choose to use them. Staff being rude. I won't be back. I live close to it but there are far better chop shops only a 5 min drive away. Shame when it changed hands the quality has now went to a new low.

Chips were cold and the fish had been lying so batter was soft and not very hot. Will go elsewhere next time.

Usually find that you have to wait while they freshly fry your order. Always a nice but if fish. Friendly staff.

Fish a chips were very nice and got them quite quickly. Bit surprised that the fish could be ordered as one or two slices but turned out fine. Had two and that was equivalent to a bigger fillet.

Chips muy sabrosos, así como el pescado, agradable y crujiente y no demasiado grasiento. Se recomiendan los haggis y los buñuelos.

Una noche de agosto y tuve una idea para un "fish and chips" para la cena.Ahora no es East Kilbride bendecidos con buenas tiendas de chip, de hecho la mayoría son mediocres, pero como yo no había intentado Emanuel's por años, decidí que me gustaría probarlo.Mi pedido en línea, a través de Emanuel's app me dieron 10% de descuento en la factura.Pedí una pizza de jamón, Pizza de pollo picante y una bolsa de patatas fritas. Todos vinieron a un precio muy razonable de 10 libras. 16 con ese 10% de descuento.Pizza tenía base crujiente finas. El picante de pollo no era demasiado picante pero permaneció un sabor razonable. Pizza jamón podría quizás han venido haciendo piña para acompañar, pero nuevamente fue muy sabroso y no sentir hinchado como hago siempre con pizzas de chippy como base es normalmente la masa demasiado gruesas.La mejor parte de mi comida de Emanuel era sorprendentemente las patatas fritas. Yo no he disfrutado de patatas fritas "fish and chips" por años, bien hasta la otra noche.Patatas fritas emanuel eran absolutamente deliciosa y yo no sufrieron la acidez de comer ellos, como suelo hacer desde otras tiendas Chip east kilbride. Bien sazonada, bien cocinada, golden y sólo durante todo delicioso. Las patatas fritas eran 10 / 10 para mí muy bien hecho Emanuel.Soy consciente de que ahora el nuevo propietario desde la última vez que intentó hace muchos años emanuel. Ok chippy over all. I think probibly does the best pizza crunch i can find.

This is a shop only. No restaurant attached. It also has a step up to access entrance, not disabled friendly. Height of counter is too high for wheelchair users too. The food however has never let me down and with a lunchtime menu it satisfies for a quick cheap bite to eat.

Always visit this super chip shop when in East Kilbride.

Supposed to turn up at 7.20, arrived at 7.45. Pizza supper was cold, pizza crunch supper was luke warm. The only hot meal was the steak pie supper. First time I've used them, recommended by my son. Really disappointed by lateness and the fact the food was cold.

Was 1 portion short on the fritters not the first time it has happened also had pizza and when it got delivered it was cold nearly waited 2 hours for delivery

Order said it would be delivered by 19:40 then changed to 19:50 . Sitting at 20:11 and on checking the order it says delivered . I called the chippy and they have said it could be out for delivery still so to wait and see and if I don't receive it soon to call back . Terrible service .

This was the worst chip shop I have ever had it got hearing bout 20 mins , the fish had bones in it and it looked like the skin had melted on to the batter , the sausages were also brick hard and vile would never ever be back ! Disgraced

Pizzas were taste less really disappointed also it says on the meal deal a large chips but when we opened the box it was more like a small we were lucky to have a hand full of chips each. :(

Pizzas bases need to be bit thinner, all the dough takes away the taste of the toppings but I have had other food from here before and enjoyed it. I would order again. X

Ordered food at half 8 when it arrived i took a bite out of my pizza and there was a manky 5p baked into it!! inside the dough! have been trying to get a refund since last night and still have all the food here to be collected but no one seem to be doing anything about it as they were getting ready to close..at 9pm. got told i had to speak to the manager the next day. Tried to call today and the shop is closed. What a complete joke of a place

Absolutely awful service and food. We had a simple problem of undercooked pizza that could have easily have been resolved by replacement or refund but the manager Brian is an absolute disgrace with an attitude problem. I will not order from here again.

Placed an order two hours ago. Just eat says it would be delivered by 8.30 phoned at 8.50 added was told delivery was on way, it is now 9.30 and still no food. Also shop is now closed so whenever I ring I don't get an answer!

Ordered from this before and always forget things and this time we left a note to make sure they remembered and when they came to the door he was quite cheeky and then when we noticed somthing was missing and we complained and the reasturant said we were liers. It has went right down hill and would not advise to use it.

I ordered a full cheese and onion pizza which arrived caked in cold tomato puree with burnt to a crisp crusts. Genuinely the worst pizza i have ever had. They should be embarassed serving it.

Wasn't ready until 40 mins after I ordered. Don't think the pizzas were even in the oven.
