Nibbles in South Lanarkshire

I used to really like Nibbles as one of the better takeaways in Lanark, but I echo the sentiments of the comments below that they've seriously gone downhill. The food (the last time we successfully received an order, which is probably 6 months or so ago now) is actually OK (experiences may vary), but the customer service and delivery are absolutely horrendous. Deliveries are frequently advertised as 45 minutes, which for a town this size is quite reasonable - maybe an hour at weekends when it's a bit busier - however, Nibbles consistently (as the other comments below verify) fail to deliver within 2 hours sometimes. You call the shop to chase and you're either met with young teenagers trying to deal with problems with little to no information, who often provide incorrect information as a result, or the phone simply rings out/goes to a busy tone and you can't speak to anyone. This isn't just a one-off, this has happened numerous times to us and other friends/family who live in Lanark. It had been a good few months since we last used them, but tonight we fancied a pizza and thought we'd give them a go. We ordered it at 17:15pm with a 45 minute delivery time - it's now 8pm and there's still no sign of it (i eventually resorted to emailing them after 90 minutes, so maybe that did the trick and the order was cancelled), and nobody is answering the shop phone (even though it's engaged every other time we tried). Safe to say we went elsewhere tonight after an hour and will be doing so in future.

We are regular customers at nibbles and enjoy there food but when we get a delivery every week there’s always something missing!! We call back and they say they will give a discount and what we last ordered into the order for that day we call but that’s 3 times now. Called back today and was told to hold on the line and the girl spoke to someone and we could here the conversation she was having with that person. 1 person said “ why they still moaning they got a discount “ this is disgusting customer service doesn’t matter if we get a discount or not we payed for the item and was never in the order. Also had hair in food a few times!!. Won’t be giving that bunch any more money!!

Disappointed. First time ordering, placed the order just before 6pm. Arrived at 8pm. Found HAIR in two of the dishes. Food arrived cold and one of the things was missing. Called the place to complain, the lady on the phone was lovely, so it is not her fault. The other staff, rude. While on the phone waiting to hear what they can offer us, heard one of the staff saying what we said about what we ordered, we were "TALKING ABSOLUTE SH*T*!". Considering we are in a pandemic, finding hair in your food is disgusting. Extemly unhygienic and dangerous. The driver did not even wear a mask. Got offered 50% off our next order but not a chance would I be ordering from there again. I argued to get a full refund and all the food ended up in the bin. Extremly disappointed and utterly disgusted. I dont even know how this place is opened. Listen to the bad reviews.

Vastly over salted Kebab , Kebab was tepid, sauce was nothing like any other Kebab I have eaten. Pakora was over cooked

Think twice, food was very poor, most of our order was binned, and we will not use the place again, disappointing and a waste of cash

I love the food from This establishment but the attitude of man in charge is absolutely diabolical and that in itself has put me ever going back again. After placing an order which was more than happy to wait over an hour and half for delivery it came and when it did it was actually not what I ordered and part of it was missing and what was there was definitely not nice . I phoned them up to let them know this and the man was nothing but rude He clearly never liked being told that he was in the wrong. I have heard this about this man before by many peopleIn Lanark but I like to find things out for myself. I will not be back and I will be making sure everyone I know should avoid at all costs

New owners, but food is average at best! ordered 3 different curries and all 3 tasted similar ( was the sauce the same?). I have used this place for a quick take-away. Fast food it is, but good food it isn't

Horrible experience!! Ordered a take away and it took 1hr 30 mins to get it. Ordered a veg calzone which was undercooked and cold, donner kebab was cold as well. Charged £5 for delivery and I only stay 1 mile down the road?? Never be back!!!

Recently reopened after a period closed only to be even better than beforeThe food is some of best Indian prepared meals I have tasted in a very long while and on comparison it is easily on par if not better than many so called top Indian restaurants

Nibbles is my go to Indian takeaway within Lanark. Others simply can’t compete.I have ordered many times online via Scoffable and makes the whole order process very simple. The chicken tikka meal is my go to choice, extremely tasty and always very well cooked. Cannot complain about the food at all.

Order a sweet nan wen it came it was like a plain nan with jam slapped on the top and wen I phoned bk up the girl that answered the phoned was cheeky

Ordered pizza, mixed pakora and chips n cheese. 1 hr and 40 minutes late and stone cold. Absolutely dreadful.

Not ordered a curry from here in ages but fancied one tonight. I had the vegetable korma and it was amazing. Seriously, the best korma I've had in years. Possibly ever. The husband asked for a spicy pizza, made extra spicy, and he was also raving about his. Think I've found my new bad habit.

Fantastic food service and prices , carry out and delivery available , best tandoori food in the area .. do not drive past when in Lanark

Efficient online ordering service with a varied menu offering Indian dishes as well as pizzas & burgers. Good value and everything ordered was tasty & fresh. Definately consider again.

i eat here atleast once a week , its without a doubt the best takeaway in the shire! You can tell alot of time and effort is put in as the quality of food is second to none!!

Visited nibbles over the last few weeks

I always use nibbles for take always , my favourite is chicken korma ! We usually do the Wednesday curry nite take away 2 currys , rice & nan £12 fab value and there's no reduce portion or quality it's full portions and tastes great

Lo que una vez fue la mejor comida para llevar en Lanark ha perdido su corona. Realmente ido cuesta abajo. Patatas fritas empapadas, queso basura, mala calidad burger. Los kebabs están bien supongo. Nunca utilizada para importa pagar el precio más alto de aperitivos como valió la pena en años pasados. Ahora caro para lo que es. Necesitamos más mejoras

This take-away is always busy (which speaks for itself). The donners are the best in Lanark. Plenty of it too!

Best Tandoori mixed grill in the country (maybe), also the Jaipuri Jeera, patia, infact I would give everything pass marks except for the pizzas which I am not a fan of

All seems good. use it now and again and have been happy with all. We mainly have pakora both chicken and vegetables

Excellent food, perhaps not the cheapest takeaway, but, if you want quality you have to pay for it. Parking right outside, just watch out for the very high kerb at places.

This seems to be a family run takeaway, as a result they really care about their customers and their cooking. I had a fabulous meal, Karahi Chicken breast, without chillies, they deliver too to Symington which is great. We will be back. Absolutely excellent food!

I find this to be the best Indian in Lanark, there Garlic bread is to die for, totally and utterly amazing. Chicken Korma and Beef Curry is nice aswell. Chips cooked perfectly, just to my personal liking. Friendly staff too.
