Meal was good as per, unfortunately the delivery let it down this time. Was cold on arrival. Almost 25 mins after being sent out for delivery .Called and spoke too boss.

First time caller long time listener - donner hoagie was unreal best I’ve had in a long time. Only issue was the delivery time but it was worth the wait. Will deffo be back.

Placed a large order, chicken was dry, 'large donner' certainly not large. And missing a nan bread. Called to request it was delivered heard abusive chat in the background because I requested it to be sent up! Furious, is an understatement. Won't be using again. Tried to give them the opportunity to put right before review.

Don’t know what’s happened to this place but customer service has been terrible always late with orders even collections. Placed an order today for a collection girl behind desk ignored me for about 5 minutes before laughing in my face to tell me the order hasn’t been made yet so I cancelled it. Used to order here all the time and would be first place I would choose but defo the last place I’d go to now

Best indian in hamilton by a mile !!!!

Chicken was dry and hard and is still playing havoc with my stomach. Was supposed to be a large too, not so. Doner kebab not enjoyable at all, not appetising at all. Have used this company before and was good apart from last time but put that down to a glitch, nope! Sorry....won't be back.

House of India food used to be great & good value but the quality is definitely cheaper than it used to be. Not sure I would order again. Delivery driver was friendly.

Food was good, however as for being 'large', this is doubtful. Previously when I ordered large chicken tikka kebab, there were peppers and mushrooms, this time none apart from the salad, and there was enough chicken to do my lunch the next day, not so this time. Also the tubs of separate sauce were smaller. The food was good though.

Best takeaway in Hillhouse, very nicely priced too. My absolute favs to get are a calzone and a chicken burger meal, always hits different when you’re stoned🍃👌🏼 Will continue to buy from here because their food is a 10/10 on my taste buds!

Not our usual place to order Indian food, but so glad I made this mistake. Staff were very helpful, lamb curry was a hit with dad, mum and sister loved the chicken chasni, I really enjoyed veggie pizza, and we all loved the vegetable pakora and peshwari nan. Good portions and delivered quickly. We'll be back.

It was a little late but I don't want to give a negative response. I got an alert to let me know it would be a little late and the delivery driver, who is always pleasant and courteous apologised for the wait and I told him it wasn't a problem.

I selected on time in case it was a bad review. I was delighted it arrived early as after I selected my time, I had to change it. I phoned HoI and they said they would do their best to bring the delivery forward. Hats off to them, they did just that and the food was delicious and hot. Well done HoI, take a bow :)

We have ordered from House of India for many years and recommended it to friends and family. The food was always delicious. However in our previous delivery the Onion Bhaji was badly overcooked and I reported this. In this current delivery the Bhaji was again overcooked, burnt in places and the main dish was tasteless and consisted of pieces of anaemic chicken added to an indifferent sauce. I'm sorry to say that much of it went into the food recycle bin !! I ordered the meal at around 5pm for delivery at 7pm. Meal arrived at around 7.20 pm-----no big deal if the food had been ok. very disappointed 😞, trying few times phone to them after delivery but no answer, missing starter,lamb very greasy, never again

Not quite 30 mins, had to phone to chase up delivery and was told they had left 25 mins prior to my call, arrived about 10 mins after I called. This was for a birthday celebration so a bit disappointing. Good was good though, albeit not very warm, thank heavens for microwaves.

Didn’t even come absolutely shocking driver went to wrong address and we called over 10 times and they kept saying they were sending it and never did 23:42 now and still no pizza shocking!!!!! Disgrace

We bought the set meal b and we politely asked if they could put cheese on the Nan as there wear no option to add it. Not only did they not do this they forgot the spiced onions and popodoms. We called and explained they had forgotten part of our order and hadn’t put cheese on the naan. He was reluctant but agreed to send someone out with our missed items of food (he admitted he personally forgot to put the missing items in our order) . We also asked if he could resend another Nan with cheese and garlic due to the first one being sent plain and truthfully the thinnest and smallest naan I’ve ever seen only to be told he wanted us to The pay the full price of a new naan with an extra £1 for cheese and garlic. We explained we are going to have to wait an extra 30 mins ( he originally said it should only be 10/15 mins) for the rest of our order that should have arrived earlier ( we had already waited 50 mins by this point for our original order to be received ) to which he reluctantly agreed to include a new one for free due the inconvenience caused by the staff unable to read an order. When it arrived the amount of cheese on the Nan was absolutely pitiful.. no garlic on the naan and it was obvious it was done out of spite. The food it’s self was honestly below average.. the deal seemed good but I guess the quality is reflected in the low price. There are a lot of indian restaurants in Hamilton and this is probably the worst one we have ever tried in terms of food and service ( only good thing about this meal was the lamb was very tender however that only goes so far when the curries themselves were below average) overall 6/10 for delivery 2/10 for food and 1/10 for service. Spend your money elsewhere guys.

Received text to say order was ready to collect but still had to wait 15mins when I got there. Food was alright. Kebabs weren't very warm and the chips were very soggy. Not sure why food wasn't as good as usual as they didn't seem overly busy tonight.

My pizza was terrible. I usually get really good pizzas from here and last night my pizza had barely any cheese on it and it was burnt!

Portion size on Egyptian kebab king size getting a lot smaller never received the salad with kebab this is not the first time it’s happened

Ordered food at 21:30, said it was due at 22:05 af the earliest. Delivery driver was here 20 mins early so I nipped out with the dog, driver began shouting asking where I was and said I was lucky i’m even getting my food whilst staring me down trying to be intimidating. I didn’t receive one phone call either to say he was there, in which case I would’ve been 1 min away. Burgers were average & chips were pretty bad. Although the service might have put the bad taste in my mouth as I notice the reviews seem to be pretty positive. I hate giving out negative reviews but this shocked me a lot.

Easily the worst calzone I have had, most of it went in the bin. Burnt to a crisp and soaked in grease

First time ordering from here but don't think it will be the last. Ordered two time meals which was plenty to feed three of us. Chicken tikka and chicken chasni both lovely. Portions of chicken and veg pakora were generous, only niggle was there were lots of seeds in the pakora which I don't like as it makes it very fragrant, but that's a personal thing. Lovely meal and good value

Once again delicious food.. chicken tikka and Donner kebabs were so fresh and tasty. Curry portions were very good and the taste was really yummy. Love your food guys.

Phoned a collection for a calzone, arrived 15 minutes later for collection, only to find out after id arrived that they'd started to prepare my order, 3rd time this had happened. Foods fine and probably the best calzone in Hamilton but annoying they wait till you've paid before preparing your order.

Currys were great they were low fat and so tasty naan was a bit well fired as they were really busy. Salad was fresh as anything. Num num num.

Sorry to say but really disappointed with the food quality. Biriyani was having a sour taste and rice was mashey.

Ordered a pizza and was told 45 mins for delivery...fair enough it's a Friday night...nearly 2 hours later and it still wasn't here...2 phone calls to the shop to see where it was and was hung up on...when it finally did arrive they tried to charge me for it AGAIN!!! Finally I had to put it in my oven to heat it up again. This place used to be quite good but recently has been a shambles...That's it House of India, you have had your last chance, I will NEVER BE USING YOU AGAIN!!!

The food was great but the delivery was a shambles! I was made to walk around for 15 while the delivery driver sat in their car.

Generous portions. Piping hot. Well cooked. Absolutely inedible sauce with the chicken tikka. Tasteless and unpleasantly sweet and watery. Sauce with prawn bhoona was marginally better but still watery. Back to Bombay Tandoori for us.

Chips where hot and cold, curry sauce was so watery, the nan bread was ment to be garlic n cheese came with out cheese on top. The only thing that was OK with the meal was the donner meat and calzone.

Slight mix up with the main dish but this was quickly resolved after a call. Replacement was with me really quickly and the food was excellent. First time I’ve ordered from here for a while but I’ll definitely be ordering again

First time using this restaurant and probably the last, I ordered the donner kebab with cheese and got a donner kebab with no cheese which is the part I really wanted but the donner meat was nice but not what I ordered.

Absolute joke waited from 17.55 now 20.50 still no dinner ,delivered wrong order ,5 phone calls later still waiting,we all know mistakes are made but this is ridiculous.and to make matters worse when they arrived at 20.50 with no rice I gave up ,but a 2 litre bottle of irn bru as an apology don't even drink the stuff 😂

Paying more for food using just eat for it to arrive 1 and a half hours late. Not good enough.

Curry dish was very tasty, could tell chicken tika was great quality and ingredients fresh. Pakora nice and poori spot on. My only criticism is the pakora sauce is a watery but all in all very good

Usually I enjoy food from them, today it was rotten. The munchy box was dried out you could tell it had been kept in the warmer for ages while waiting for delivery, chips where reheats, chicken pakora was dry as was the donner, mushroom pakora was like eating a flip flop and delivery took 1h:20m

We have the food to be excellent in every respect and consistently so over many years. When younger and able to call in personally we were always sure of a friendly and courteous greeting. Highly recommended.

2 hour wait for delivery and it was watery and cold into the bargain. Disinterested staff and if you go in its chaos with the staff running about like headless chickens while meals sit for ages on top of the grill until you ask if it's your meal. Won't be back this place is disorganised beyond belief

Our usual for a Saturday night, no more took 2 hours from ordering, very disappointed in the food watery sauce and tough lamb, which is not the norm, deleted the app. To cap it all they hung up on my wife when she phoned to ask where the meal was, poor customer service. You

Kids pizza was very spicy therefore my son couldn't eat it. X
