Love this place.Service is off the limits people taking my order were very nice, and food was amazing, highly recommend!

Couple of years ago ild order off Ely king all the time and they were great. Now they’ve gone down hill. Last 5 times I’ve ordered the messed my order up and forgot something. The food isn’t half as good as it used to be

This place was the best kebab shop in ely for many years. Sadly now they're under new management and it's nowhere near the quality of food and service it used to be.

It was very tasty for the last 2 years, but then something changed. The last time, the chicken had a bad taste, the salad was sour, and the sauce was not fresh... I'm so sorry

First chicken kebabs for a while, sadly the chicken was overcooked and incredibly dry, the chips were cold. :(

The only fast food/takeaway in Ely which is worth it these days. Cooked fresh with decent-tasting ingredients and the staff are always friendly. Cash only and no delivery - I usually ring up so my order's waiting when I arrive.

Rudest people going. Even the food is of poor quality. Good luck asking for more than 1 item

Very sad 😔! I used this place for last 18 years and we had amazing food! Fresh , quality and tasty!It seems it is now under new management and the food is absolutely discusting ! Now just left name Ely Kebab . 😡

Service was poor, food cold, chicken dry and nothing positive to say about it. Will not be returning! Had been our go to kebab shop for years but not now ☹️

Oh, definitely check out this place if you have all the time in the world to wait for a simple burger. The staff? Oh, they're just overflowing with warmth and hospitality... not! They even have this special skill of conveniently 'forgetting' parts of your order, like my beloved chips. And let's not forget their impressive floor seasoning technique – I got a bonus quarter of my chips right on the ground! And as for the prices, who needs accuracy? Pay 10 pounds for an 8.5-pound dish, because, why not? But hey, at least the food itself isn't totally terrible... just the experience.

We used to consider this place the best kebab in Ely, however, since the new management, the food quality has massively dropped. We have only been ordering lamb shish and the meat was incredibly stringy and rubbery, completely inedible. Can’t comment on the other food but we don’t recommend this place for lamb kebabs.

I ordered a kebab the food was cold the food was not edible due to it being so cold. The chips were also dry and cold not worth the money.

Found this gem with my partner at the end of summer and cannot get enough of delicious shish kebabs both chicken and lamb are so tender and full of flavour, fresh salad simply amazing.

After wandering around the Cathedral we needed a refuel and saw Ely Kebab House. The food was plentiful, fresh, tasty and arrived quickly. The owner was friendly and made us feel welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely visit again in the summer.

Absolutely the best Kebab Takeaway in Ely. Their Chicken Shish is glorious. Succulent pieces of marinated chicken breast cooked perfectly over hot coals! You can’t beat it!

having been a resident of Ely for over 15 years and always gone to Ely Kebab House, I can't tell you how disappointed we were for the last visit. It has clearly changed ownership and whilst it was "ok" it wasn't a patch on the taste and quality of the food we have had from there previously.

The quality and taste of the lamb Adana is second to none. Seriously good (and this is from someone who’s worked in food research and development/events for one of the uks biggest supermarkets…) Flavour, quality, cost fantastic. The staff are also very friendly and polite. Best Turkish food in east anglia hands down.

Best Tekaway in Ely All fresh and delicious food

I came here on a flying visit to Ely. The seating area for 14 customers is quite spacious and pleasant. The service was polite but sadly my lunch was less enjoyable. About half of the Lamb Shish was inedible. As they only had plastic forks and no knives, it was best to eat the salad with my bare hands. At least the garlic sauce was tasty. Lamb is probably not always easy to cook, though. I imagine they have far more customers for takeaways than eating in. Exploring Ely afterwards felt much better.

Really decent kebabs and burgers !! Cooked over hot coals, what a difference it makes and good portions sizes aswell. Happily go back

Well flavoured kebabs,cooked over hot charcoal, nice fresh salad,served with tasty homemade chilli and garlic sauce, and served with a smile. The only thing that could be improved upon would be the pitta bread which was box standard, maybe some Turkish pide bread or a homemade flat bread.

A bit expensive, at £8.50, compared to other competing take-aways which are £6 - £6-50, but well-filled with lamb. Friendly staff and the wrap was well packaged. I enjoyed it.

Absolutely disgraceful attitude from the staff,didn't wait to take full order. The staff continued, to talk to each other,in their language and sniggering. We were waiting for at least twenty plus minutes. Eye rolling from the staff ,to each other. Disgraceful visit ,all round. Will not go there again.

Used to be the best place to buy a kebab anywhere for miles.... until recently! Not sure but seems to be new ownership & can never get an order right! Ask for large potatoes they give you small, ask for no onions they give you onions, ring up to place an order you get there they claim not to have your order. Attitude of the staff is like they really couldn't care! Everyone makes mistakes, but not every time! Used to be better than the rest, now worse than most other places! Very dissapointing, bring back the old owners & staff!!

This has been a great kebab house for many years, but went in recently and all new staff. I ordered 1 small and 1 large chicken kebab, but when got home they were both small :( Very disappointed.

Tasty chicken shish and friendly staff

My nose was drawn to the beautiful aroma of food being cooked over a charcoal fire and was instantly then craving what I could smell. To my delight it was a lovely little takeaway called Ely kebab House and upon entry was met by friendly staff in the family run business and to the left was the food being cooked Infront of me. The food was delicious as suspected and we will be going again. Trust me this is a lovely takaway you won't be disappointed.

Very nice kebabs all cooked on open coals, very reasonably priced and the smell from outside just draws you in! Highly recommend and it’s my go to takeaway in Ely.

Chicken kebab to eat in, beautifully cooked and presented with delicious fresh Turkish salads, so tasty and healthy. Plus great chips, oops. Really nice surprise, we thought we’d be perched on a wall near the cathedral, spilling stuff down ourselves.....

Popped in for an off-the-cuff lunch today and was completely bowled over by the high quality food, elegantly served on a board to eat in. We had a deliciously spiced kofte and melt-in-the-mouth chicken both cooked fresh in front of us, accomanied by plenty of crisp salad and rice. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff - thank you - we will definitely be back again!
