Always order a takeaway from here, tasty and delivery always hot. Reasonably priced and order time usually right.

Brilliant takeaway. Especially the veggie dishes. Himself loved his lamb jalfrezi. Delivered to our table in the garden. Summertime - and the eating is easy. Thank you.

Had several deliveries from Elvington Masala and it has always arrived hot, on time and absolutely delicious. Friendly staff as well. Can't ask for more, highly recommended.

Haven’t had an Indian for ages and was so disappointed with our meal tonight. Spent £25 and it was absolutely tasteless. It looked really nice but literally tasted of nothing. Onion BJs over cooked - vegetable curry- just wet- no aromatic spices . Nothing . App was good. What a shame

Very easy to order and delivery time quick. However, burnt see- through popadoms, not even as good as shop bought ones. Meal was mostly rice and never seen such poor quantity of chicken. Flavours were bland, not even the rice had flavour. The mixed vegetable curry curry was just lumps of potato. Not authentic Indian. Not going back. Disappointed family.

Placed order on the app and found it very easy to use. The food was of a great standard and within the time stated for delivery.

The best chicken Ceylon I have ever had. Delivery man charged more than he should have as I already knew the right price and had it ready plus I was giving a £3 tip so disappointed in him.

I’ve personally seen the chefs eat food they then packaged and bagged. The spices and food used to cooked is left in a container with no cover or anything Tubs of peeled onions are left in the kitchen for days. Not refrigerated or anything. Chefs are dirty with spills and stains on their aprons lacking cleanliness. Food is always cold when delivered. Sauce is watery. I could go on. In a nutshell I would rather eat my own faeces. Be sure to order food a week before so you know it’ll turn up in time for the day you want it. They must heat food by the power of a lightbulb. Or fry each individual rice grain on its own. Deliveries are long. That’s my point. No organisation for even the most basic request or requirements. Following the major failings...their prices are higher than I can reach. Not worth £6.50 for 5 pieces of chicken and some water.

It’s only Indian available near me & disappointed with my curry as it was runny instead of thick as expected. Also bit pricey if eating for one as £20 minimum for delivery & had to waste majority of the order.

Food delivered by friendly staff, earlier than anticipated and tasted delicious. Would recommend and definitely order again!

Left comments on where to deliver however driver unaware. The containers were squashed and contents coming out. Some food was tasteless and watery but some ok but pot luck I think on what you order.

Very swift delivery, however unfortunately the chicken I received on this occasion was poor quality and had an odd, slightly gristly texture.

The first time we ever ordered from here and it took hours to come but this was ok as it is a Friday night, however when it arrived our peshwari Nan was missing. We called the restaurant and they said we would have to wait an hour for another one or the next time if we ordered through the restaurant direct they would give us a free naan. So we did this and again waited hours for the food, only to receive the wrong starter and no sauces/chutney that we had ordered for popadums and starters. We called them and they said it would take an hour or we could have a refund on the chutney but I said that I wanted the food delivered and a refund on the items as now we would have to keep the food warm and wait to eat our dinner. The lady agreed and then over an hour later we still had not received the food and when we called the restaurant they said because we had a refund of £6 we wouldn't be getting the food as well so we had waited for nothing despite what the woman had agreed on the phone. Shocking customer service and we won't be eating there again.

great food, does feel like package size has reduced as food quantity seemed smaller but the price is the same?

Only issue was that 2 of the main dishes seemed to be mainly sauce and not a huge amount of meat. Otherwise it was excellent. Have been ordering from here for over 10 years now and have never had a bad meal. This is just the first time have ordered through Just Eat.

chicken was very pink inside in the korma so didn’t eat it. for the money I was very disappointed. won’t be using again.

Missing an item from Order, would only knock item cost of next order if I phoned in. And someone elses order was spilled over ours so was extremely messy getting out of the bag.

Lovely Indian food. However, it’s usually hit and miss whether it’s microwaved and watery. Unfortunately, this time it was microwaved and watery.

Food very good, better than before, not greasy, nice lamb pieces in the madras, but not quite as generous portions as the Salman Indian in Wingham. But they don't do home delivery. Overall we were quite impressed, and would order from them again.

Was ok, disappointed we didn’t get free Poppadoms like most other Indians as order was nearly £30. Pretty average food and waited an hour for delivery.

The Chicken Tikka Masala had a weird aftertaste that I had not tasted before. Very disappointing and won't be using again. Fed with wasting my hard earned money on sub standard food.

Not a great problem,but when the order went in for 20.00 we were told it would be 10 minutes later 2010,as I said no great problem,but it arrived at 1950, otherwise faultless.

Great food as always. Best Indian takeaway in the area.

We went camping in Dover and this was the only Indian restaurant on just eat so we ordered. Not only did it arrive 30 minutes late but we were told that it was definitely on the way after being 15 minutes late and would be 5 minutes more.

Ordered food and was told 45 mins tops over an an hour later still not here Rang them and got yes it's on its way when the food arrived it was cold the king prawn madras was king shrimp and bloody awful thanks guys I've used you before several times never again this one tonight has been a pile of crap you've lost mine and my family's business

Didn't taste the food. Was 45 mins late and was starving. When i phoned the restuarant they were useless. Poor show

After being told 45 minutes delivery it took 2 hours - then to be angrily told 'I'm the only delivery man' as if it was our fault.

The food had very little flavour

Food got here super quick but was quite cold and lacking some flavour and the portion sizes were extremely stingy too. Didn't enjoy it at all :(

I ordered a Chicken Tikka masala last night and the service was great but when I sat down to eat it the sauce was really watery and tasteless. I am guessing there was a mistake whilst cooking it because I have never had one like that before and everyone else's curry was fine. The meat was cooked well though so I still eat it but there was definitely something missing from that sauce. I am sure it was a one off mistake as I have used them before and I would use them again but that sauce from last night needs to be brought to their attention.

Delivered 25 mins earlier than time stated, lovely food, my wife said hers was a bit sweet though.

Discussing food. Very small portions. My husband had 2 prawns in his prawn curry and I had 1 small price of potato and no vegetables in my vegetable curry. Very tasteless. We would never use again. I didn't want to give any stars but it wouldn't give me the option.

All good too sweet even sagg paneer was overly sweet when it should be a savoury dish. Any use of spice was lost due to the overpowering sweetness within every dish

We didn't attend the restaurant so are unable to rate it. Delivery was very quick, only 25 minutes or so and the driver was very polite. Our only gripe is having to order £20 worth before being able to complete the order...and then paying for delivery too ! That's what you get for living out in the sticks 😀

Chicken tikka masala was ok but the chicken biryani was very bland. Hardly any spices appear to have been used and was tasteless and unseasoned .

Absolutely gorgeous take away, we have never had a bad take away from here, extremely consistent, saag paneer is delicious. Never had a delivery, we always collect, but always spot on.

Food arrived an hour and 45 minutes after we ordered it. When we phones up to enquire, they said "oh the driver has left, he is on his way", which was not helpful. Was cold and there was an item missing. The stir fry was swimming in oil.

The advertised time is always amended by this restaurant. It says 45 mins then becomes an hour but typically takes 90 minutes and they are only 5 mins away! Poor. They don't answer the phone either. Dishonest.

Really very tasty and original Indian cuisine at its finest, also great for the rural areas like Goodnestone etc

Used this Indian on several occasions now as my choices are limited where I live, last 2 times delivery had taken well over 1hr 30. Over 30-40mins longer than given delivery time even on a week night. Food has been wrong and not very hot. When contacting them service has been bad and very rude. Won't be using again now.

Tandori chicken is really good, curry dishes are a bit too oily but meat it self very good quality.

It says our food has been delivered half an hour ago but we are still waiting! We usually love Ellington Masala but really disappointed about the lack of communication and how late our delivery is tonight... we wouldn't mind if we knew what was going on!
