Elsie's Pie & Mash in Greenwich

Lamento dejar una crítica tan negativa, pero esta comida fue horrible. Mi hermano compró 10 pasteles, puré y licor y algo de salsa para un almuerzo familiar. Los pasteles eran asquerosos, no sé cuál era el relleno pero no era carne. Nadie comió esta comida... No puedo recomendar este lugar.

Pura comida para perros. y solo si no te gusta tu perro. después de haber comido pastel y puré toda mi vida probamos este vertedero porque era práctico Nunca he visto carne como la carne en estos nunca antes era como paté. o salió de un tubo. no hay consistencia no puedo describirlo como carne. tenía un sabor terrible si el propietario puede responder a este post y explicar de qué está hecho el relleno porque no puedo lamentar que un grupo de 10 adultos no tienen idea de lo que hay en los pasteles. Diez adultos estuvieron de acuerdo en que la comida que les dieron fue a parar a la papelera. Y gracias por arruinar la reunión de nuestra familia deberían avergonzarse de ustedes mismos por llamarse pastelería.

Couldn't fault it except no mushy peas! High quality mince in the pies, not fatty/gristly - Portions were good for the price -- 5 stars

Came here when it first opened & it wasn’t too bad. Not the best I’ve ever had but ok. I’ve been back a couple of times in the last month hoping that my first of the two visits was just a blip. Alas, no it wasn’t. Pies are over cooked, big lump of unseasoned fairly bland meat in the middle of the pie. Gravy (yes I prefer gravy) not stirred through enough & still had granules swimming in it. Mash is ok but again needs a pinch f salt & pepper. Overall not a good experience but gave it a second chance. Won’t be giving a third. Appreciate costs have gone up but £8.90 for double pie & single mash seems steep given the quality being served up. An honest review that appears to be echoed by a few I’ve seen in relation to this shop. There are way better pie & mash shops around & this one needs to improve massively to be able to call itself traditional & compete with them.

Terrible pie, I thought I was eating paper. I had the vegan version, but even the pastry was awful. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, cheap but not worth it.

Very disappointing, not much flavour and meat clogged together in big lumps. Very unappetising! Shall not be returning

The shop itself is lovely , great authentic decor and comfortable seat's, but unfortunately the pies were awful, nothing like a traditional pie shop pie with what looked like a lump of something in the middle and just pastry at the sides , very dissappinted, everything else is fine but the pies need changing

The pies were dry overcooked no taste, meat clogged together, really poor I wouldn't order from there again
