Food was good , so odd to say but their vegan chicken wings were 10/10, burgers are always outstanding

Just arrived back to London Liverpool Street from abroad and saw this attractive looking place and thought of giving it a go. Initial service/greetings made us feel very welcome. A simple misunderstanding turned everything upside down and we immediately left in shock and disbelief. I have never ever came across such rude behaviour from a restaurant staff member before. I cannot comment on the food as we did not have the chance (or appetite by then) or urge the try it out. But regarding service this place is a no go! (thanks to one staff member)

Nice and quick lunch option near Liverpool station. Appreciated the good service and the gluten free option for burgers. The lunch special was a good value.

Food was okay. My burger was alright, nothing special but not bad either. Other people in my party has the chicken burger and that wasn't good. They charge a service fee that's not included in the item prices. I know a lot of restaurants do that, but it's misleading and forces you to either pay up or get annoying and ask for it to be taken off the bill. I won't be coming back.

A let down when compared to their other older branches in the West End and London Bridge. I've been going to P&B for nearly 10 years now and this was the most average meal I've had. Chips: soggy oily Roast chicken aioli: tasted like flat mayo Ari Gold burger: the quality of the meat is consistent but the recipe must have changed Bbq wings: like they were from a chippy. Tastes frozen or over cooked. Sad to see how a business that was once proud of staying small and perfect has now expanded and sold out to become just another average burger joint.

Well done to the lovely Jasmin and her great team. We were made to feel very welcome, looked after excellently and made a fuss of. Idiots kept leaving the door open which must be maddening for the team. Thanks and we will be back.

Patty & Bun at Liverpool Street is, without a doubt, one of my favourite burger restaurants in London. I had the Ari Gold burger with a pint of lager and fries, and it didn’t disappoint. The burger was incredibly juicy and full of flavour, with the perfect balance of toppings. The bun held everything together beautifully—none of that falling-apart mess, which can really ruin the experience for me. The fries were spot on too—crispy, golden, and seasoned just right. The last time I came here was back in 2013, so it had been a while. I’m happy to say the place stands the test of time. If anything, it might even taste better now, which says a lot, considering I already loved it back then. You can tell they’ve stayed consistent with their quality and attention to detail, which I really respect. The vibe is casual and laid-back, perfect for enjoying a great meal without any fuss. The staff are friendly and approachable, but they give you your space to enjoy your food, which I appreciate. It’s not the cheapest spot for a burger, but for the quality of ingredients and the care they put into their food, it’s absolutely worth it. To top it all off, it’s conveniently located just next to Liverpool Street station, which makes it an easy and quick option whether you’re heading somewhere or just stopping by. If you’re craving a proper burger experience, I can’t recommend Patty & Bun enough. Whether you’re a first-timer or a returning customer like me, you’re in for a treat!

The burgers are very good and the prices are in line with those found in London. The place is practically at the exit of Liverpool Street Station, and I would definitely recommend it! Only things to note: they apply a small % tip on the bill (for us it was 12.5% ​​of the total) without communicating it beforehand, which however you can also ask to remove, and there is a menu for students, but it is not communicated on the menu.

Good burgers with a fair price I recommend

Burger was nice. Patty itself very moist and beefy. Chips were a bit cold and soggy. Staff were very abrupt, messed up our food and drinks order. When we asked for what we ordered instead, we didn’t get an apology we were simply told that was what was on the ticket like it was our fault. They did change it in the end but after pulling a few faces and checking the till several times. Also just a note, there are no baby changing facilities. Wouldn’t recommend for eating-in but would grab a takeaway burger if I was in a rush.

This was a depressing dining experience. We were hungry and unfamiliar with the area. Ordered a chicken burger, fries, coleslaw, vegan chicken wings and double chocolate shakes. The shakes were surprisingly small but very tasty, smooth and creamy. The burger and fries were overcooked and extremely oily. The vegan chicken wings were tasty but over salted and quite frankly, we weren't sure what we were eating. The coleslaw was good though but the overall oiliness of the food resulted in me leaving more than half my burger and fries because they were inedible. The food could be better cooked. Unfairly, this unhappy meal cost ~£46!

It was among the recommended chains, it is among the best but disappointing for the price, practically almost double compared to other equal/superior chains

Food was ok. Variety of halal options. But service was rubbish - waitress barely spoke any words to us, had to ask us to repeat order twice and handed us our food without explaining what each item was. A very crowded set up as well - we were right next to the dishwasher that staff were loading and unloading while we were eating! Won't be visiting again when there are plenty of good burger places nearby.

Had a free burger offer and was recommended to try The Don. Juicy and sauce was really good. Was surprised as wasn’t expecting it to taste that good. Restaurant is cosy and small and burgers are served wrapped in paper which is good because it’s much cleaner and easier to eat this way

Food was really good, it was definitely the highlight. Had a standard chicken burger, it was soft, had a decent amount of breading and it tasted really good. Staff were nice, and had us seated in moments and they accepted walk-ins.

If you're looking for a quick burger restaurant, this place serves quick burgers, the taste is decent and prices are decent for what they are.

Jasmine was excellent. Extremely friendly and smiley. A couple of the tables are just to close together. You might as well dine with your neighbours.

It was my first visit to Patty & Bun today and I only have praises. I ordered a Hot Chic Chicken burger and Oh my God what a burger it was. After a really long time I had such an amazing burger. The ambience, the service was all up to the mark. Great place.

Had an amazing time, food was exceptional, had one of the best Burgers I've ever tried with the lambshank redemption burger. Service was brilliant and all the staff were kind and attentive as well as answering any queries that I had. Shout out to Samirah who was always on hand! Overall would highly recommend Patty&Bun for those looking for great and flavourful burgers.

Just popped in for a quick dinner with the kids as soon as we arrived in London, very convenient by Liverpool Street station and felt so welcoming Samirah looking after us. Def would like to come back again. Food and drinks were great, but the best thing was the service. Samirah is one waiter to remember, so kind, friendly and has great energy.

Fabulous vegan options, great service

Ordered the Don, a double patty burger at the behest of the diners at an adjacent table. Overall I think the meat is really good. Buns are great. For the Don specifically I think the mayo didn't go that well - maybe a bit less would work better. Got the rosemary fries, pretty good. Overall, a place I'd bring friends to.

This is the first restaurant we tried in London and it was already such a great atmosphere. The staff, and especially Jasmine, made our time worth it. They are sooo friendly too! Everything was so good! Staff is very friendly (Jasmine). We had the lunch deal and definitely recommend getting that one just for £12.95.

Classic burger🍔🍟 Nothing special but is a nice well made fast burger, also fries were good. Compared to other fast food the quality of the meat was better. Prices are high compared to the quality like everything in London 😂 ✅️I recommend to try this out if you want a fast burger and you are in the area.

The staff were friendly, but unfortunately the burger was excessively greasy. Additionally, the burger comes wrapped which makes the bottom bun very soggy. Overall, the flavor was good, but the texture and presentation could be improved. I had to leave part of it, I normally don't do that.

P&B one of the best around. Great burgers and fries. The IPA is worth a sup too.

Save your money and go to the McDonald’s across the road. No plates, greasy burgers dripping with oil, and terrible service. One burger was so oily that it was unfit to feed to my dog. After eating the meal, we both felt physically sick. If you are unlucky enough to eat here be sure to check your receipt. We ordered 2 meal deals but were also charged an extra 8.50 for chips which were meant to be included in the meal deal. Staff lacked the brainpower to do basic math to rectify the mistake, and were unhelpful. Beware of the hidden 12.5% service charge which we asked to remove but staff acted clueless. Terrible experience and would not recommend.

Really quality burger chain. The homemade fries and burgers were very good! Impeccable service! The only small negative point is that the meat is very (too?) juicy and therefore the bun underneath is quickly saturated with juice.

It was almost like recieving a nice take away at home but in a restaurant- referring to their lack of any kind of tableware provided, some staff also didn't feel approachable. Luckily at least the burger and chips tasted good- 3 stars for that alone.

We passed by chance passing through Liverpool Street station and looking for something for dinner before arriving at the hotel, as it was late to get something near the hotel. And it was a pleasant discovery! The burgers are excellent, and the staff are young, attentive and very friendly. The spicy fries are also spectacular. Very generous portions, two adults and a little girl had 3 burgers and two portions of chips, and we couldn't finish them. The environment is youthful and informal, very clean and the service was quick even though the place was full. We will definitely return if we have the opportunity to be in the area

Honestly the best restaurant burger I’ve had for sometime, ordered Lambshank Redemption burger (medium) wow what a burger, nice level of chillies to elevate the lamb. Proper juicy burger. My Son ordered the Smokey Robinson Burger (medium), and equally didn’t disappoint. Service was super quick and staff very friendly, would recommend to any burger/bbq fan Sorry no photos, was super hungry, and after first bite, phone didn’t get a look in 😋

One of the best burgers I've had! I'm a vegetarian and it's usually a struggle to find a tasty veggie burger but I just loved the Dig It burger. The mushroom fritter and garlic parsley butter combo was heavenly. Generous portion of fries as well. Staff seemed very friendly!

Have never been here before my two friends said it’s great here but after the food came I have to say I / we were pretty underwhelmed Service was ok pretty nonchalant food was ok and service why do you auto add 12.5% when it really isn’t warranted Patty & Bun you won’t see my money again good luck

Service very good and friendly staff However the meat 🥩 quality is pretty poor with little chunks of bone inside and has little flavour The fries appear to be over cooked and the oil appears to have been used many times without a change The fries appear to be orange suggests dirty over used oil I’d say over it’s about average quality and certainly a public H&S inspection of the kitchens Hopefully just a one off, as I’ve had Patty & Bun in the past and they have been a lot better

The service was great, however I went there for the lamb burger and it didn't taste of lamb? So wouldn't go there again. The fries were very good though.

The food was good but I guess I was hyped up for more and was, therefore, mildly disappointed with "just" good. The music was playing too loudly. The service was fine.

Sadly I can't say I was impressed by Patty&Bun. I have been to a lot of London burger joints, but this one was quite average. I had a burger and chill coleslaw and both were absolutely fine, but nothing more than that. Not special and smallish portions and not on the cheap side either! The serving staff were polite, but a bit on the slow side. I was on my own, but it still took about 30mins from arrival to getting served my simple meal. I probably won't be back considering all the other places I could eat in London!

I visited Patys & Bun a year ago and had fabulous burgers, so I decided to return with my two daughters. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The quality of the burgers was completely different and not great at all. However, the service was excellent. Sadly, I won't be coming back.

The burgers were solid, but not the best I've ever had. The music was really loud and was coming from the restaurant plus the street. The service was excellent. We walked in with some particular eaters and they got our order right the first time. Plus, they have several halal options.

If mediocre was a burger it would be this one. I went here last week and ordered a burger, cheese bites and coleslaw. The slaw came out warm and limp, it was as if it had been out all day. The burger was incredibly average and it’s a shame to see such a lovely site and venue not living up to its full potential. The staff were lovely and kind and checked on us half way through. Overall I’m convinced this place isn’t up to scratch. After so many recommendations to try this I would avoid. There’s so many better options in this city.

We used to come to this P & B quite a lot over the years, although we had a break and only went back after a while recently, but now regret that decision! It really has gone downhill. My husband used to love it and would want it above all other burger places, but it just isn't the same. The burger he had has completely changed (Jose Jose) and he was quite dissapointed. It was the quality and taste, as though they are now using cheaper ingredients. The burger I ordered came out near enough cold and I sent it back and ordered another but by the time it came i just didnt want it anymore. Had it at home and it was drenched in oil (Mushroom burger). They still tried to charge us for both, which was cheeky. No condiments were offered and we were given the wrong drink. The place just doesnt have the same appeal as it used to. Unfortunately we won't be going back, especially as there are so many other options out there these days. Felt like a complete waste of money.
