I ordered a cake a week in advance. I sent two e-mails in the title date "1.08.2023" with a photo for the cake. The ladies could not save the picture to the desktop. I sent the third time with the date "July 31, 2023" telling you that it was a mistake because my birthday is on August 1 and I have to pick up the cake a day earlier. I ordered a cake at 5pm. I came and the cake had the wrong picture. I spent 40 minutes there because the printer was out of order. I was under a lot of stress because I had a meeting at 6 pm and I didn't know if I could make it, if the printer would work and if there would be a cake. I paid £47. I finally got a cake, but the photo was small and the decoration was cut with a knife. I already knew I didn't have time to do anything with this cake. An hour later, the photo began to wrinkle. The next day it was very wrinkled. I called the store and the lady was not nice, she was talking at the same time as me. She said I could have said the cake would be kept overnight for the next day. I said that when ordering, but what kind of professional people should they be asking about such things. This lady did not want to help me at all. I was left with an ugly cake for a lot of money. no more your company. I have photos of the cake and will post them everywhere

My wife and I order a number seven cake little did I know that there was a strand of hair and the people were absolutely disgusting and they were rude I am writing to inform you that you shouldn’t go there

What more is there to say other than they have delicious cake. Large variety, well packaged in boxes so that the cream does not get squashed.

I ordered a couple of slices of cake from here via Deliveroo and they accepted the order. An hour later they cancelled the order with no explanation. If they for some reason we’re unable to fulfil the order, they should not have accepted in the first place. Would not recommend or use again.

Don’t usually write reviews but was absolutely blown away with how helpful the cake shop was. The asian lady at the Alum Rock branch couldn’t do enough to help! She really catered for my needs, put in all the little details I’d asked for, went out of her way to carry my cake to the car and packaged it beautifully - even cut the top of the box so the horn of the unicorn wouldn’t be damaged. Certainly left a lasting impression, it’s all in the little details and customer service! The cake tasted soo delicious too, light and fluffy absolutely fresh. It was devoured within 20 minutes!! Everyone who had a slice were impressed. I haven’t stoped recommending you guys!

The most beautiful cake I’ve ever tried a friend introduced me to eggless cakes a couple of years ago and always remember how beautiful they were I was tired of spending money on supermarket Birthday cakes that was full off sugar thick of icing most of it got thrown away, my son was turning 3 and his favourite thing to eat is fruit this was absolutely perfect I went in within 10 mins I had a cake and even brought some balloons , the cake went down a treat for once I’ve not wasted half a cake the lot had gone people wanted seconds & they were commenting how beautiful ,fluffy and fresh it was , this will be a tradition for us on special occasions , the store was fresh and modern loved the pink vibe in store , the pretty packaging was a nice touch to! Will return soon!! Will recommend to all my friends

The cakes were absolutely delicious, cakes were presentable, the service I got from Gin was amazing she is so helpful and friendly. When seeing lovely staff like her it’s always our pleasure to return for more cakes. Thank you for your time. Service was outstanding

firstly the brand that i want the dude was rude i had 1p short and didnt even give an discount mean a hole watta dude bruh so rude he even snached the money of he smelled like curry. secondly the icing was all melted gave me wrong name on it which made my son cry WASTE OF MONEY

I have been getting my whole family's cakes from here as everyone loves the way they taste. I must say I have never been disappointed the ladies always look after me and I always get happy with my cakes 😋😋😍😍

We started coming here because my granddaughter is allergic to eggs . You can have a celebration cake made to your requirements but we usually get some of the different sliced cake they do . There are no seats in the shop to eat the cake there but you can have them boxed to take out . The boxes could be a bit thicker to transport the cake but as long as you don’t knock the box they do travel well .

Popped into the cake 🍰 box today to pick up two slices with my daughter. The slices where £2.50 each. The lady was very nice who served us and the packaging was great. Well these cakes taste wonderful and nice and light. Great cakes and will visit here again.

I ordered a cake for my daughter birthday yesterday. the cake was fantastic but as to my fear the cake touched on sides and on the top smudged because the box was very light. I think you should use some good quality boxes with a bit hard sides and top. this is a memorable experience you are selling to customers don't waster for a quid.

If you like your cakes egg and just love cakes this is one place to go. There are no seating facilities it is totally takeaway. There is a fine selection of cakes and they do I believe make cakes to order.

Wanted to try it as had heard good things so picked up some cake slices to try. They were lovely but expensive for what they were.

Yo pedí una tarta para el cumpleaños de mi hermana que me explico que por el personal sin aparecer en todo el pastel: me había registrado este como yo había pedido uno similar para mi hija anteriormente, la única diferencia es que el tamaño de la tarta.Cuando fui a recoger el pastel no había imagen, parece ser que el pedido había sido tomado por la imagen incorrectamente, aunque había pedido había sido guardados en el PC, pero no había sido escrito en la orden. Me dijeron que no me preocupara y que lo solucionaría. Por lo que significaba ort que imprimir la imagen en papel comestible utilizando tinta comestible (que podría haber hecho en casa), cortados como unos 3 años lo había hecho y luego pegaba que de la tarta.Entré con el coche y decidió entonces que no podía tomar a mis hermanas fiesta de cumpleaños porque era tan terrible, así que caminamos de regreso y pedimos un reembolso. Ahora, teniendo en cuenta que he sido un cliente leal desde que abrieron, y fue uno de sus clientes, Usted pensaría que habría algunas disculpas y decencia y sólo me dan la restitución o, me permiten pedir un nuevo pastel pero no! El propietario dijo que el pastel tenía 'estado' - lo que llamó a unos mientras llevaba a mi coche y volver?Ella dijo que debe ponerse en contacto con el MD, que estaba bien conmigo ya que yo quería hablar de la basura que habían dado. En este punto el dueño me proporcionó un reembolso y me pidió para salir y pensar sobre mi comportamiento. Mi comportamiento? Mi comportamiento cuando son los que me cobran por una propina de 26 libras por un pastel que normalmente sería £16 sólo porque logró imprimir una foto, cortar alrededor estaba mal colocada y un stick tarta? Mi comportamiento, cuando he sido un cliente leal durante años porque no se puede formar a su personal adecuadamente? Mi comportamiento cuando su personal no sabe cómo tomar pedidos y desea llamar al MD porque malo de mi orden?Esta mujer es horrible y nunca me pide de nuevo allí y, por último, parada de estafar a la gente

Lovely coconut cake. Light and not too sweet. Big portion too. Excellent will use again. I just wish they had gluten free.

Cakes are so so nice and tasty. For a slice it's only £2 and it generously feeds two. I haven't had a celebration cake from there but I've recommended them to friends and they've always been really pleased.

Nice texture to the sponge and moist I e,mailed the picture I wanted on top and collected the day before it was needed.

All the cakes looked great but did not like the texture of egg-free chocolate sponge. Don't really see the point in egg free cake.
