Edward Street Fish Bar in East Staffordshire

Had for my lunch today the best fish and chips I’ve ever had in burton so happy. Fish was nice and thick and well cooked, batter wasn’t too thick and the chips were fine. Felt I should review, will be back that’s for sure though I have been here previously and not reviewed so can’t have been that memorable so maybe this place is up and down, dont know but will try again when I’m next passing and hungry. Decent portion too for the price, had a mini fish and chips meal deal think it was £5.50. Can’t go wrong.

Stopped at Edwards for the first time. Felt by the staff that I had been going a long time. The food was delicious 😋

Never been disappointed, consistent service run by the owners, portions are generous and great value for money, never changed to another fish and chips place since we moved to burton, they also cater for halal diets, which shows they go over and beyond.

Went in for a fish and chips. Asked for a small chips with a Large Haddock to be cooked extra well done .The staff made a fresh Haddock and it was one of the best fish I've had in years. The small portion of chips were lovely and generous portion size. Great helpful staff Highly recommended

This is my favourite chippy in Burton. It’s very very nice. It’s always busy (a good sign), the staff are friendly and the prices are fair. You can also pay on card.

I purchased fish and chips here for the first time and I can say after eating that delicious purchase, this is just the first of many future purchases. Everything was a Banga, I absolutely love it. The packaging too is so nice and neat, food smells great, fish is fresh and crispy, super hot and moist inside. My review doesn't do justice, just buy for yourself and thank me later 😀 . I'll be back soonest for more. Lest I forget the portions are tagged small but they are actually too generous to be called small 😂

It was closing time but she still took the order and prepared it although they didn't have any cooked fish. They stayed overtime to get the order done and that says something. Food was excellent and fresh... freshly made, i might add. The even better part is that all their packaging is paper. A big thumbs up to Edward Street Fish Bar for looking out for our environment! Best chips ever. Chicken kebabs are a lot like greek chicken gyros. Love it. Very cheap as well.

Very friendly staff in a well run shop

Really friendly staff and attention to detail. I was really hungry and made a big order here for the family. They have a one way ordering system where they call you in when it is safe to do so. I also ordered some classic pineapple slices fried in battery which were freshly made like the fish. The chips were piping hot when I opened then at home and we all were stuffed and happy. A brilliant place for a Friday night treat. 5/5

You Get your money's worth of Fish And Chips here .Small Portion of Chips would feed Two People for less than £2 .. Staff are friendly and helpful plus a good variety on the menu. Highly recommended

This is the best place for fish and chips in Burton. The portions are huge and everything is freshly cooked. The family who run it have owned it for years and are so lovely. I’ve been coming back here for 30 years!!

Staff are helpful. They advise you what to have if you want to try something knew. They do different types of meat instead of the basic donnor and chicken. Will defiantly be going back here. Fantastic chippy

Been here a number of times. The fish and chips are lovely. Batter on the fish is light and crisp. Chips are cooked to perfection. Portions are large. I would recommend this fish bar.

Absolutely first class for fish and chips. They do all usual chippy foods as well as donner kebabs. The staff are always friendly.

Edward Street chippy is the best around, there food is delicious and there staff are welcoming, and there service and customer service is excellent :) everyone should go even if live in the area or not

Although I am not a big fan of 'fish and chips' but I try it in almost any new place I go. This bar serves one of the better tasting if not the best fish 'n chips( in my limited exposure). It is tasty as well as reasonably priced. Staff are welcoming. And to let everyone know, it's a take only away shop. Hope u enjoy.
