Lovely find on my day trip to Southampton. Lovely decor, light and airy, good coffee. Free WiFi access for 1 hour too!

Oh my gosh! It’s a beautiful coffee shop in the corner of high Street but they are overpriced. I tried two times this place and both times they charged me too high. Their prices are higher than any other cafe in the town and quality is nothing special. Coffee was good, raspberry matcha was good as well but £5.10 for one small raspberry matcha is too expensive!!!!

After reading all of your reviews, I had to edited my review and Ask: ARE YOU DISCRIMINATE AGAINST ASIAN PEOPLE? I am a frequent customer. I have been spending my afternoon in this place the past two year, it was a very nice place to enjoy my afternoon and drink coffee or have piece of cake sometimes. However very disappointed today when I ask for the second Wi-Fi password for my next hours there. I was just gonna finish last bit of work and leave. These two staffs told me that I had to buy something else to have Wi-Fi. I didn’t even want to finish my drink. It ruined my mood of enjoying my afternoon there. I just left. I knew this whole asking for password thing, however, I have never been asked to get another drink before to have second password even if I only had a coffee. It was not busy that time, not like there are customers waiting for table. Which I will be happy to leave. It’s very pity and unbelievable. If you guys don’t welcome customers who spend their day there with a cup of coffee. Just put a sign out and make it clear, one item exchange one hour Wi-Fi if you wanna spend more time here. Very DISAPPOINTED and will never come back again. I don’t recommend any students or anyone who would like to spend their time there. You will need to spend for Wi-Fi. Go to somewhere else that’s more friendly.

I ordered a sausage roll, but they didn’t warm it up. 2 stars is for Coffee and Sunday Jam. Their Coffee is really good, and the jam event for the last Sunday of each month is great place for relax with friends. However, I just knew that their every single WiFi passcode is only valid for one hour, if I want to have the next hour, I need to buy food or coffee. I don't think this is right or wrong, but it gave me a bad impression. I spent at least 10 pounds here today, stayed for two hours, and when I wanted the wifi password for the third hour, I still have a coffee on the table haven’t finished yet, and I am not hungry at all, a lot of tables and chairs were empty, so even if I stayed there without buying anything or leave It didn't bother them. and there were no customers queuing in the waiting area. A bit unkind

The wifi can only be used for one hour. If you want to continue using wifi, you must click on something else. What an overbearing clause! “You must buy more to get more Wi-Fi password.” What a funny policy!

It was a very strange thing that we didn't know when we ordered that wifi was only available for one hour, and when you needed longer wifi you had to buy something. There wasn't even a signal where we were sitting, which was unfriendly for people who needed to study and work. They claim that this is their policy, which is really creative.😓

Very poor experience. Went there for coffee with a client. My friend had got a milk shake from the shop. He was not drinking it. Was told no drinks from shops. He did not feel welcome. I questioned the attitude and staff got quite cross. I said of I was not welcome could I have a refund and was told no by the owner. I said I would leave a review and he tried to intimidate me by saying they had stock answers for reviews. Had a lovely cup of off to go from edisons lovely little coffee shop the service was great and even though we had coff to go trey let us use the toilets that are down stairs great atmosphere lovely decor highly recommend.

Southampton lacks a decent speciality coffee, but for me, Edison’s coffee is better than other cafés I've tried in the past couple of weeks. I have came here multiple times, and the quality of coffee varies depending on the barista. Unfortunately, today I had a minor incident with one of “the owners” as he introduced himself. I had the usual flat white (the milk steaming was poor, by the way). Anyway, I brought some biscuits from home for my toddler and had a few with him. Immediately, the waitress came to me and politely asked me not to eat them due to some safety measures. She was nice and courteous. I explained that the biscuits were for my child, and she apologised and left. Not two seconds later, THE OWNER approached with a stern face and said, "The child can eat, but YOU cannot." That was extremely rude, and I hadn't even had two sips of my poorly steamed flat white. The second approach was unnecessary, and I don't want to think it was racism act because I am a Muslim wearing a hijab. I hope not. Before today, I would have rated this café 3 out of 5, but I don't really recommend it.

Unfortunately service is incredibly slow. Price for a coffee with oat milk was over £4 and was given dairy milk my mistake regardless.

Decided to try Edisons for a coffee and it was amazing. The service was great and Ibz was so friendly and helpful when I was ordering. Would highly recommend!

The wait person recommended: Salami & Brie sandwich plate was Awesome!! The cappuccino was delicious. 😋 All full for lunch and only £12.70! Highly recommended!! No smoking also a real plus...

Cant get over the coffee from this place!

A friendly and welcoming, locally owned family business, run by great people, boasting great service and great staff. I regularly visit Edison's some mornings to get coffee before I start work and I am always greeted by it's staff who are always happy and inviting. The coffee is of high quality and the owners are always there getting stuck in, working alongside their staff to provide a great service. This venue is perfectly situated in the heart of the Old Town directly opposite the historic site of Holyrood Church. I would highly recommend this venue.

lush little coffee shop on the corner - so bright and airy with fresh flowers around and perfect for people watching. a few little board games and things there to play if you run out of things to talk about - great, efficient service and just an overall lovely - although could do with a fresh gf option

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! food and drinks are overpriced and not of quality. the staff are lovely however management were the opposite and really ruined the experience , make you feel entirely unwelcome and make the whole cafe feel very hostile. on the number of occasions i came into the coffee shop i have witnessed management being rude to certain groups of customers for no reason. It’s a shame that the management have a way of bringing the mood down in what could be a lovely place. Will be sticking to Mettricks from now on!

Wonderful coffee shop in the historic section of Southampton with a personal and welcoming feel. The coffee was so good I went 3x in a 24 hour span. The owner even chatted with me for about an hour and helped me navigate around England. If I am ever in this area again I would go out of my way to come here.

Fantastic coffee shop on the high street! Excellent coffee and wonderful staff. Visited on the evening of Monday 29th Jan, and the two young guys serving were incredibly kind, easy to talk to, and accommodating. Highly recommend this place!

Poor Dining Experience with a Sense of Discrimination

Had an uncomfortable experience here. Despite informing staff about our friend joining, we were repeatedly asked about our seating arrangement. The staff approached only us, both of Asian descent, enforcing the policy inconsistently. Felt discriminated against and bothered multiple times within 30 minutes.

We were tourists and walked into this lovely place. This coffee shop has excellent service and delicious coffee. I recommend it to everyone. I had to take a picture of my beautiful coffee, which I never do! My friend had hot chocolate, loved it.

Fantastic coffee shop, with friendly and attentive staff. Lovely atmosphere with pretty decor and lots of natural light. Located opposite a memorial church so pleasant background scenery. No slope or steps at the entry point so it is very accessible. Also appears to be dog friendly which I see as positive, but you decide.

My girl friend went your coffee at 14th January. She and her friends were asked to leave after 3 hours stay. It totally ruined their experience. What I need to clarify is both her and her friends are the normal customers. No any UNWELCOME BEHAVIOR. DRESS WELL. There weren't many people in the shop as well as queuing. They ordered 2 COFFEE 1 CROISSANT AND 1 CAKE While they enjoy the cake, basically every waiters asked about clean the table. But my girlfriend was said several times that she hasn’t finish her cake. Then, after half an hour somebody like manager ask them for leave because they CANNOT access electricity and Wi-Fi for free. A male waiter also clarified that they need order VERY 1 AND HALF HOUR JUST FOR STAR AT YOUR STORE. OK, that’s totally fine I can understand. Follow your logic, we ORDERED FOUR ITEMS SO WE CAN STAY SIX HOURS. Am I right? Why and how can you kicked them out after only THREE HOUR STAYS. Clearly, it TOTALLY CONTRADICTS YOUR POINT. I need your explain.

Not fresh food. Very dry and pistachio coffee was very oily. The server was grumpy too.

Lovely lunch today! Thought we were "just getting a sandwich" which turned out to be genuinely one of the tastiest ones I've had, great coleslaw and plenty of salad and crisps. Always very friendly service and a chilled atmosphere

The place was spectacular, cozy, the coffee (I consider myself a coffee expert) was incredible! But even more so the staff. We ran in because it was raining a lot and they were super friendly, they immediately offered us paper to dry off the rain, which was great since we were also traveling with two little ones. They immediately brought us a chair for our baby. Everyone was very very friendly the entire time. On previous days we went and also tried a lemon tart that was incredible. I want to add finally that we were served by a young guy who was super kind to us and was attentive to everything until we walked out the door. Without a doubt we will return! ♥️♥️♥️

I don’t normally write reviews but reading other reviews has made me realise a lot of other people have had the same experience as me. I used to spend a lot of time at edison’s especially at the start of the year. I’m a uni student and I enjoy trying out new coffee shops and bringing my laptop with me to do work. I always buy a coffee and usually a cake a little later on into studying. The baristas are always really friendly and really nice, and that’s the one of the reasons why I used to enjoy coming to this cafe. However, I have stopped going to this cafe. The atmosphere is no longer friendly and the owners are really rude. Myself and a friend spent 2 hours studying in Edison’s. Both myself and my friend bought a £5 pumpkin spice latte. We spent about 2 hours before being approached by the male owner telling us to buy another drink or leave. We found this really rude as the drinks we had bought were so expensive, and I was about to buy a cake on top of the drinks as well. I would understand if the cafe was busy, but it was almost empty, so I didn’t understand his reasoning. On previous ocassions, I once had my feet on the chair for a short period of time and the male owner came to my table and rudely said ‘get your feet off my chair’. I think the owners need to address their attitudes to customers, it’s rude and condescending. I understand if it is their policy to not do work in the cafe, but display it on the door, so uni students don’t have to put up with being (rudely!) told to leave after 2 hours. I’ve never had this experience in a cafe before, and I think the owners need to learn some respect for their customers, if they want their business to thrive. I won’t be returning to Edison’s and I won’t be recommending it to any of my student friends.

Fab with a Christmas Sleep countdown

I drop by here most mornings to grab a coffee on way to office and have always found staff, drinks and food exceptionally good. Therefore decided to have my sisters 50th birthday T party. The owners and staff couldn’t have worked any harder and we had an absolutely superb afternoon. Drinks, cakes and service were 5*++++. Special mention to the staff who looked after us who were awesome and couldn’t have done anymore to look after us. This place is special because they care deeply about what they do and it shows because of the attention to detail and staff they have. A first class afternoon and we can’t thank you enough for a wonderful time

My friend and I first visited Edisons a year ago after work. We went again few months later and due to our change in work times had to put her visits on hold until today. The lunch was lovely, very fresh, homemade coleslaw and a side salad with either a wrap or roll. It was well presented and filling. Staff were friendly. Highly recommended a visit.

apparently you have to buy something new every hour or so to be allowed to stay there! i had two items bought and was there less than 2 hours studying when i was informed it’s “not a free space” even though my purchased items were visible. Absolutely rude and ridiculous. staff were very friendly though!

I stopped off here for coffee during a shopping trip. It's a bit further away from the shops, so quieter, although still v popular. It's nicely decorated & much more sophisticated than the chain cafes & pubs. I had coffee & a vegan croissant. Both delicious & for under a fiver! 🙂 I would highly recommend coming here, & will be going back soon for lunch.

A beautiful place to sit and have a pumpkin spiced latte in the evening (was absolutely gorgeous and decorated generously. (I had 2!) fits a day and an evening vibe with the way it’s decorated, and has a bar to order from. I can’t remember his name but the young man who served me was so positive and friendly, just genuinely nice people working here. They also serve cakes and cocktails, just a lovely place to be! Could spend hours in there

I have been frequenting this lovely coffee shop/ bar for 18 months and for some reason I have never reviewed it. Situated at the bottom of the high street is one of the best if not the best coffee shop in Southampton. As you walk in you are immediately struck by how grand the place is, from its high ceilings to its delicately furnished interior. The baristas always have a happy and welcoming smile which is always good 😊 The coffee has a good body to it and is not too overpowering, a perfect blend in my eyes, and it is well priced for a freshly made cup. If you fancy a cake then there is a good selection on offer. If it takes your fancy then you can relax and have a glass of wine instead of coffee. It's a chilled place and during the summer I like to sit outside in the sun .... Perfect. The owners and staff do a grand job and if you are in the area I strongly recommend you visit the place. Well done to all the staff on a great job 👍

The most friendly coffee shop ever. Went absolutely above and beyond to welcome my son “Edison” to the cafe. They made me and my family (5 people) feel like VIP’s. Customer service out of this world from all staff, and the cake was amazing as well. And the lovely man working on his laptop took amazing pictures for us to remember the special trip. We cannot thank you enough for making us feel so special and welcoming us to “Edison’s” cafe. We will definitely be back for coffee and cake. Thank you so much

Having been a regular at Edisons over the past year, it has been the go to coffee place for my friends and I. However, it is such a shame to see this place follow the rest of Southampton, down the drain. Firstly, the positives. The employed (emphasis on this) staff are excellent. When they are left to it they thrive and are overall lovely. However the owners/management probably need to go on some form of customer service course. My partner and I visited last week for our weekly coffee and cake. We were excited for the chocolate cake we have always loved. Bought the cake, went to sit down in the back corner (where there was other dogs), and the owner pretty much shoulder barged us out the way to form a barrier. I don't want to use the word 'rude' as I don't think this justifies the way this lady acted. She was condescending and dam right ridiculous. When we pointed the other dog out, she came up with some bullish*t response about the dog being too close to the kitchen (doesn't seem to be a rule anywhere else in Southampton but hay-ho). The other ladies sat with their dog seemed to be half way through their coffee so must have been sat there for some time before then being made to move. Anyway, we move and sit at the front next to the door. The waitress comes over and brings us our coffee and pupachino, apologising for how the owner acted (unsure if this was out of embarrassment or just having respect for us). Obviously I can't guarantee this, but the cake tasted like it was fresh out of a cash and carry. For £4.10 a slice, get a grip. Overall quality of food and drink here has gone down hill. I don't mean to single out the 'lady' owner as the older man is equally rude. We visited a few weeks ago during the summer and my partner placed his foot onto the foot rest of the chair - to tie his shoelace. The older male owner came over and patted my partner on the back and whispered "take your foot off my chair", including other profanity I don't wish to repeat. Again, this obviously should have been a red flag but we gave them the benefit of the doubt, but overall that was a waste of time. I think this place needs some form of reality check. Maybe the owners should learn something from other successful independent coffee shops in Southampton (wink wink, Bedford place seems to be a good place to look). To prospective customers, I would advise you to flash your tory membership card as you enter, as maybe this will entitle you to courtesy and politeness from the owners. The final send off from this review. Don't judge a book by its cover. My partner and I are young however this doesn't mean we are entitled to that level of disrespect. People like us (students and young professionals) are good for small businesses and promote places we feel to be nice and safe. You have lost two pretty regular customers - I imagine we are not the first, and most likely not the last. (p.s The two stars are purely for the barista, she deserved five but this review is unfortunately not all about her) (p.s.s if you would like to remove yourself from what seems to be a hostile work environment, reply help and we will come and rescue you - you were an angel!)

Everything about this cafe is amazing, cakes, coffees,wines and last but not the least the staff We’ve been in there quite a few times and it became one our favourite places for me and my husband in southampton.

Can't believe we're writing our first-ever one-star review for this cute little coffee shop. Thought it would be warm and welcoming but it turned out the complete opposite. We walked past this shop many times and made time to give it a try on a lovely Sunday. We were slightly disappointed when the latte was served spilt but the worst was yet to come. We ordered two cups of coffee and was just using our laptops. In less than three hours the manager came to kick us out. The shop wasn't busy and there were enough tables for customers coming in. We didn't disturb anyone and were just minding our business quietly. Just checked out other one-star reviews and learned that it is their policy. While we understand it is their way of doing business, it still left us a bad impression of this shop. Coffee and the atmosphere were good but the service was horrible. Never felt this insulted and will never come back again.

Recently discovered Edison in Southampton and makes for a great workspace. The service staff are excellent and the social media guy who frequently works on his laptop is extremely friendly, warm and accommodating to customers. Unfortunately I can’t say the same for what I assume is the owner/manager. Intimidating man walking around frequently, passive aggressively moves furniture after customers have left, complains about the door being closed? and patronises staff in front of customers. I witnessed him rudely tell a young customer to remove her feet from an opposite chair. Albeit feet on chairs isn’t great etiquette, but as a customer service manager/owner there is a code of conduct with customers and embarrassing a young girl in-font of a full cafe made for a very awkward experience. Probably won’t return unfortunately. Tip - customer satisfaction and positive interactions are key to a successful business.

Went to Edison’s today for lunch with my brother. Had the most delicious roll with crisps and homemade coleslaw. Did not want it to end. Absolutely perfect. Great service and amazing coffee. This coffee shop ticks all the right boxes for a great place to go.

I had a horrible experience here one day as a student. I have worked in countless coffee shops both chains and independents and have never experienced something like this before. Ever. I had a lovely time working in the nice atmosphere having bought a coffee and sat down to work for a few hours as you do. Firstly, this female waitress/ manager comes up to me and asks me to take my feet off the chair when I had just placed them there for a short while because the chairs were uncomfortable and I was trying to find a comfortable position and have done this in several other places with no reprimanding as if I’m some naughty schoolchild. Then a while later, a male manager/ owner comes up to me and says, “We don’t mind you using our study space but you’ve been here for over 3 hours and bought only one coffee and you’re using our space and electricity so could you buy something else” or basically leave as he insinuated. Now this was in front of the whole cafe and was embarrassing, humiliating and outright rude, borderline harassment. I was very upset by this but of course did not fight back, simply just said thank you and packed my things and left, having been unable to finish my work. As I have said, I have worked for about 5+ hours in several other coffee shops having bought a coffee and never been targeted like this before. Very disappointing and would not recommend if you want a friendly, comfortable atmosphere for working. This kind of behaviour towards customers is unacceptable. Shame because the atmosphere and coffee was nice.

absolutely appalling situation- had a lovely time working here having bought a coffee, after a few hours some female manager came up to me and told me to take my feet off the chair I had just propped up because the chairs were so uncomfortable, then who I assume was the manager/owner a very rude man came up to me and told me to buy something else because I had been there a while using their 'study space and electricity' according to him. Awful business. Not worth the time of day

Lovely little place to have coffee and freshly baked pastries. Alternative milk coffees can sometimes be lacking from other places but from here it was spot on and my latte even came with an pattern on top! The staff are very bubbly & polite - I’d give it 6 stars if I could!

Delicious pastries, croissants, pain au chocolat and cinnamon rolls

This is a weird place I have ever visited. They call it a cafe but don't allow customers to use their laptops after 6 PM. They call it as collaborate and connect which doesn’t make any sense at this techie era. It’s a place for waste of money and mood spoiler. Definitely don’t recommend to my student friends and business people.

Lovely coffee and cake 1st visit will go again

A gem of a coffee shop in Southampton. Great coffee, and the staff are beyond lovely. I spilt my coffee all over the floor and was mortified but they were so nice about it and even presented me with a fresh coffee. I was already a fan of this place but this just cemented it for me. I will definitely be back!

What a wonderful experience we had at this cafe bar. We love Southampton and travel there from Somerset quite frequently. We were served a most delightful bottle of wine by the most kind and friendly staff. This will definitely be our stopping point for our every visit. Good coffee & nice a cozy layout

Newest coffee shop in town, good selections and firendly staff. A place to relax if you love drinking good coffee.

Really nice place, with really nice pastries and good coffee. We got there a little earlier than 07:30, and the member of staff was really nice and opened a couple of minutes early for us. She was really friendly and polite. The pastries were excellent and certainly will be coming back.

I decided to try a new cafe for some late afternoon and early evening work (17:45-1900). The cafe has a good location, located between Westquay shopping centre and the waterfront. The coffees that I had were extremely good so hats off to the Barista this was the best chai latte I had. However I was underwhelmed by two factors the decor whilst initially appearing very pretty wires were pink making them stand out and there were two large holes in the wall alongside the circulation not being great. Alongside this there was a weird rule enforced by the staff about not having laptops out after 18:00 when I asked why they said it was a wine bar however no reasoning beyond this was given. Alongside the atmosphere being relatively empty and the wine list was only lacking many roses. However all of these things can be overlooked and are hopefully temporary problems. But all in all I would personally recommend getting a takeaway coffee from here due to the amazing Barista.

I have stopped in here a few times now. So far just for coffee, or a glass of wine or two to study with :). All the staff are really friendly, the spot is great for people watching, and the Merlot is divine.

New to the area, decor is nice. Coffee was fine, not very strong or warm. Wouldn’t have had another coffee but was going to stay for some cake until a member of the management, I presume, felt the need to assert his dominance and made us feel very uncomfortable so we left. It seems we haven’t been the first customers to encounter this.

The best thing they have is cinbon Prices are a little high The atmosphere is stuffy and there is a strange smell. I expect because they allow dogs in, I feel a smell.

Best. Coffee. I. Have. Ever had. I have had a lot of coffee in my lifetime, incredibly friendly staff and an absolutely gorgeous coffee shop. The only coffee shop I know that opens late which is absolutely phenomenal. The dimmed lighting in the evenings plus the music and all the greenery surrounding is 🤌🏻I work in the ambulance and do nightshifts as a living so being able to come in and have a coffee before my shift is so helpful. There isn’t a time where I come into the city centre and don’t come into Edison’s . I recommend it to everyone I know. I just want to say thank you to the staff you have Created such a beautiful business and I wish you the best and in my personal opinion, there is no competition when it comes to your coffee shop.

I came here a few months ago (I had forgotten the name)with my mother as the tagline of coffee,cakes and wine lured me in. It felt like a very relaxing cafe and the cake that we shared was lovely. But my my only concern was that as I am a barista myself I can agree I’m overly picky with my drinks and so is my mother. I ordered an oat chai latte and a hot chocolate. The chai had so much froth I thought it was a cappuccino but when I got to the actual latte part it was lukewarm at best but still tasted great so I wasn’t going to ask for another because I had drank half of it. My mother’s hot chocolate was warm and not very hot. As we left the gentleman asked us if we liked the drinks to which I informed him I was also a barista and wasn’t going to complain but said it wasn’t to my liking as it was too frothy and both are drinks were colder then expected. And He just glared at me as if I had driven over his dog. I will be returning but I will be asking my drinks to be extra hot in the future.

A hidden gem, in Southampton. I came across this little treasure by accident and I’m so glad I did. Staff were friendly with excellent customer service. I can’t fault this coffee & wine establishment. Open till 2300 hrs on Friday and Saturday, it’s a must so check it out yourself you won’t be disappointed.

Great vibe, went in the evening and they had brilliant live jazz music. Fun atmosphere and chilled place.

A jewel in Southamptons crown. Would really recommend this lovely spot to anybody. Friendly, family run establishment that you just don’t want to leave. Only regret is that I don’t live in Southampton so won’t be able to visit more regularly but wholly recommend to anybody coming over from the Channel Islands for hospital treatment. Cakes - amazing, coffee - amazing, wine - amazing and people- amazing. Accidentally dropped my debit card as I was leaving and only realised a couple of hours later. Was a bit frantic but was met by the smiley owner who had it safe and sound and ready to give back to me. If you don’t love this place there’s something seriously wrong with you. If I could give 10 stars I would.

I don’t recommend it at all, Very expensive and not tasty

I had an unfortunate experience today at this cafe where the staff was extremely rude and exhibited discriminatory behavior. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and kindness, regardless of my race or ethnicity. Unfortunately, this was not the case during my visit. I hope that the management of the cafe takes steps to address the behavior of their staff and create a more welcoming environment for all customers.

I was disappointed with my experience at this cafe. While the prices were very high, the quality of the food and drinks was lacking.

If you do not allow students with laptops in your cafe, please display a sign to inform them of this policy instead of closely monitoring them like a hawk and pressuring them to order drinks every hour. Additionally, it has been observed that your cafe is one of the priciest in the southampton. I pay for the coffee and I pay for staying in Therefore, kindly reconsider your approach to ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment for all customers. With no regret this will be my last time as I have found the lack of good atmosphere and the poor taste and quality coffee and bakery.

Gorgeous venue-We celebrated a 30th birthday at Edison’s and it was everything and more!! The decor / setting is stunning. The Edision’s team are phenomenal couldn't of picked a better venue to celebrate in!! Huge thank you to the whole team at Edision’s for making the night so special!! Wetaher it’s a nice coffee with a wonderful atmosphere or a celebration Edision’s is the place to go in Southampton 1000%!!

Been to Edison's twice now and haven't been disappointed yet. Staff were friendly and the interior was set up beautifully. Everyday they have different types of cakes and pastries displayed. The cappuccino, served in a generous sized mug, is top notch even when using non dairy milk. I said to my partner this is now our cafe of choice to hang out in.

Really nice coffeeshop, clean style design, service was very good, they don't offer a great deal of things but the kids liked the hot chocolate and my coffee was good 👍 We have a nice chilled relaxed time spent with friends and it was perfect for that. Simple toast and jam to start to the morning

Visited on a Sunday morning, seemed fine. But coffee was luke warm and made to wait 20 minutes for a glass of juice and two "warmed" pastries. Table next to us had 2 rounds of drinks in that time. Poor first impressions, won't be getting a second. Pitty as it looked like a nice place
