Fui aquí alrededor de las 11 de la noche un viernes por la noche y casi me di la vuelta y me fui de inmediato porque estaba muy muerto, pero el bar de arriba estaba muy bien hecho y me sentí como un bar de cócteles de lujo que pensé que me quedaría en Al menos un trago. El personal era agradable, así que no hay problemas y las bebidas son de 9 a 12 (a menos que tengas un grupo y quieras hacer uno de sus 90 cócteles compartidos). No obstante, probó el Slone Square Sling y, aunque la descripción sonaba bien, sentí que estaba bebiendo azúcar puro y jugo con muy poco alcohol. Después de mi bebida, fui al área del "club" de abajo y también estaba muerta. El sistema de sonido era bastante bueno y el DJ estaba tocando ritmos house decentes, pero el techo bajo me hizo sentir claustrofóbico, así que me salí. Tal vez solo fui a una noche libre, pero le doy 3 estrellas porque como estaba más interesado en el lado del cóctel artesanal y ahí es donde me decepcionó muchísimo. No me molesté en tomar fotos, ya que las publicadas son una representación precisa del lugar, por lo que no sentí que fuera necesario. Visitamos el sábado por la noche. El área para nosotros estaba decorada con globos y pancartas de cumpleaños. yo era Incluso se le da un delicioso pastel de cumpleaños! Los cócteles eran increíbles, un menú realmente extenso y no nos decepcionaron. Nos hicieron sentir bienvenidos y nos encantó la noche. No dudaría en volver y no puedo recomendar lo suficiente. I’ve had a great evening with my friends, the cocktails were amazing and the bar tenders were really nice and friendly.

Así que para el cumpleaños de mi esposo, tuvimos una lista de invitados en Montezuma, que es local. Fueron groseros y muy poco profesionales, debido a un poco más de hombres en nuestro grupo. . . 10 mujeres y 13 hombres no nos dejaron entrar. Vinimos aquí para tomar una copa antes de tomar una copa y no sabíamos que tenían un club en la planta baja, por lo que, después de que nos negaran la entrada a Montezuma, regresamos a este lugar y bajamos al club. Vinimos con amigos a tomar algo rápido y nos encantó el martini de la fruta del dragón. Me gustaría volver mil veces solo por eso. Un establecimiento pequeño pero con un personal muy amable y excelentes opciones de bebidas.

Nice music, friendly staff, warm, cozy atmosphere with little nooks and crannies. Has a DJ - decent lively music when we were there. Fine for couples looking for somewhere a bit lively. But also good for a bunch of friends. Give it a go!! *sorry photos too dark to give good impression.

It looks more like a cocktail bar rather than a restaurant , but I think they make pizza as well ( no idea I didn’t eat nothing I don’t really trust ) . The place is very small and dark , nice warm athmosphere . Nothing special.. go if you are near by

Situated in Kensington, near the hotel we were staying at, we thought this would be a nice bar to end our evening-we were wrong. Sticky floors, grubby toilets, terrible music. 6 drinks- spirits not cocktails was £75- rip off. Avoid.

went there tonight for a 40th birthday party - great crowd and very friendly and professional door staff and manager. As a type 1 diabetic I did not want to inject in the club, and the manager let me upstairs for privacy. Been there 5 times and all the staff are superb - and very aware and helpful. Well done guys for my friend's 40th and also for taking the time to look after me. Totally recommend. Don't focus on diabetes - it's a superb club with a dancefloor downstairs and great staff.

Been several times always good for a night out. They serve good cocktails particularly the watermelon martini. There a club downstairs later, it’s small but you meet lots of people, everyone chats and seem to be locals. Would recommend.

Loved the ball pit especially as the bar is right outside my house !!! Cocktails are delicious and so is the food downstairs and every person who works there is super friendly and makes the experience more enjoyable !! Never have bad time when I go there

Wow what a fun place this is!! Great crowd and the best drinks, especially the watermelon and passion fruit martinis. Downstairs has more of a bar/club vibe with a really cool ballpit you just dive into, all my friends and I just loved it. They often have live music, last time I went they had the saxman rocking the place. I'll definitely be going back soon, and highly recommend this venue.

Rude and lazy service. Barman refused to take off the service charge and then after agreeing still added the service charge to the card machine in an attempt to trick me

Great little cocktail bar - from the same owners as Boujis so you’d expect a great venue. Nice crowd as well. Will be back regularly for sure.

Fairly nice venue, with ball pit which adds a bit of quirky fun in the downstairs bar. The DJ played a really eclectic range of music, most of which our group didn't enjoy much, but thats subjective. Service at the bar is slow and the bar staff don't have a great attitude. Cocktails were OK, nothing special, but the bar adds a "discretionary" service charge of 12.5% - for ordering at the bar. Seriously?!! Service? This makes them well overpriced. Further when queried and asked to be removed after noticing on our 3rd or 4th round of drinks, the "discretionary" service charge suddenly became mandatory and would not be removed, period. This is basically robbing the clientele. Pretty crap attitude to be honest.

Dear Management, I have decided to contact you after my disappointing experience this past Saturday 31st of March. I took my friends, 5 of us in total, to Eclipse Bar at Old Brompton road and it was utterly unsatisfactory experience. As cocktail lovers, we were ordering few rounds of cocktails, and there was always a delay in receiving them, but moreover when was my round I ordered  4 Negroni cocktails with a Bartender with a beard, and whilst waiting for them I noticed he was lacking / finished a bottle of a spirit after pouring in our cocktails just few drops, then filled the glasses with ice and was steering the ice to melt so he can bring it to the same levels as desired measure / height. After me commenting on it he abruptly barked at me “ I know what I'm doing”, I said I didn’t think so and then he replied “I don't care”. I said I'm not paying for those Negronis, he grabbed the drinks, said “I'm not serving you” and discarded them. What is that!? We brought it the Manager’s attention on the night, but he never checked in back or tried to solve it somehow.    I would like to stress that all of us there work in fine dining/ high end private clubs and understand the world of hospitality and we are not usually fussed. But we also know that rude and unattentively staff is not a best reflection of the establishment and that you should be aware!  

We often come to this place with colleagues after work because it is the closest open until late after we have finished working. Nice atmosphere, we will come back definitely.

absolute dump. Doorman squared up to me as I reentered and started saying my trousers weren't smart enough for the bar. Even though we had already been inside and had a drink. He said go to the pub opposite. Funny there were people inside wearing Christmas hats and jumpers and apparently this was ok with their strict weekend policy! He also was wearing dirty black jeans too tight for his large stomach. Friday night and the bar was half full. We stayed for one drink. Won't ever be coming back.

Vine aquí antes de ir a cenar y tenía 4 cócteles de su menú. Muy amplia variedad de cócteles, siempre hay algo para el bebedor de cócteles de temporada. El personal del bar son geniales, con sus sugerencias.

Fuimos a Londres con cócteles unos amigas y pasamos un tiempo fantástico en el Eclipse, muy amable y genial. Me volvería a reservar una mesa, ya que es un pequeño bar.

Fuimos allí el viernes por la noche con un grupo de amigos. El lugar estaba lleno. La música estaba muy buena y así eran las bebidas. También el servicio era bastante bueno y el personal era muy amable. Recomendado para una noche.

A group of 6 of us were trying to find somewhere for a drink after a long day of travelling and working, myself (female) and 5 guys but we were turned away because our guy to girl ratio wasn't to their taste. They weren't full and were still letting other people in. We asked to speak to the manager to discuss it further and the doormen were incredibly rude and turned their backs away to ignore us while we were questioning this. A few girls in the smoking area (next to the entrance) even questioned why we weren't being allowed in and the bouncer told them to keep to their own business unless they wanted to be chucked out! We asked for the doormens names and id codes so we could make a formal complaint as their behaviour and attitude towards us was completely out of order. After a dispute with them, the manager finally came out to talk to us and gave us a rubbish made up excuse as to why we hadn't been let in originally. If they had been full, or had we been drunk and disorderly then we would have understood but that wasn't the case. There's a fabulous cocktail bar/ restaurant across the street that I can highly recommend instead. Eclipse was the worst customer service from a bar I've ever encountered. Avoid.

Have always enjoyed coming here and have been many times. Its good when its not too busy and I like the fact its near lots of eateries and bars. I dont think I would describe it as in any way inexpensive but its a fun place to go all year around.

We ended up at Eclipse Bar our first night in London and the service and drinks were great! The watermelon martini was so fresh; the bartenders used fresh fruit for all of their drinks. We returned with a larger group a few days later and experienced the wonderful service and quality as our previous visit. I would definitely return to Eclipse bar our next time in London.

We visted the Eclipse Bar on Saturday night as our first port of call. We had read that the club opened until 3am and we were checking out the place to see if it was worth coming back to later that night.. The bar staff - especilly Kenzo (i think that this was his name) passed a free shot down the bar to us before we had even ordered a drink.. Good start!! I ordered two cocktails for us which were well prepared and then low and behold another two shots were passed down to the bar to us.. What a way to start the night!! We had dinner reservations elsewhere so had to leave and paid our bill (we were charged £28 for two cocktails) and moved on thinking what a great place and that we would definitely be back later.. How wrong we were!! It was nearly 1am when we went back to Eclipse and we went down to the club downstairs and the previously very friendly Kenzo was behind the bar so we were expecting a warm reception - how wrong we were.. We were accused by him (and another guy who wasn't there on our first visit) of leaving without paying our drinks bill!!?? We had left the place just a few hours earlier with all waves and smiles and with the door staff even hailing us a taxi but were being accused of doing a runner!! I checked my bag and found the receipt for our bill which had the date and time clearly shown on the receipt and the other bar man was chirping in that it was from another night and not for our previous visist?? It had the date and time printed on you moron!!!! I couldn't believe what we were beeing accused of and was really quite angry at this point.. A 3rd barman was trying to diffuse the situation telling us that it was all fine and to come back to him for his next drink and he would look after us?? By now the night was over for us and we left the place (after also speaking to the manager who also told us not to worry about anything) with a very bitter taste (and not from a cocktail)!! I really do not understand what prompted this outburst from our initially friendly bar man unless he decided that he wanted to charge us for the 'free' shots that he was handing out on our arrival?? I would never go back here and was really disappointed that they ruined what had been up to that point a great night out!

If there is one thing you can't fault eclipse, it's their service. The friendliest barmen and waitresses in London. Cocktails are great and atmosphere usually quite good. Security is also top class. Nice bar for London standards!

Lovely establishment. Looks small until you discover the bar on bottom level.Fantastic cocktails served by attentive and lovely waitress whose name we forgot to obtain ( for review purposes)We only left at about 2:30am when the place was shutting :-) thanks DJ.Only downfall is no finger food as stated on website. We were informed snacks are no longer provided. Fortunately many eating places nearby.

This bar is awesome! The staff is so friendly and they aren't just bartenders. They are great mixologists. They create their own drinks and make recommendations if you want to try something new! It's very modern, and very cool. The prices were reasonable for a night club-like place, but Many reviewers may find this pricey. Overall, this is a fabulous place for young people looking to have a great night out!

On a hen night so were meeting everyone here, small cocktail bar and big prices for average tasting drinks. Nothing spectacular and disappointing

This place was recommended to us and did not disappoint. We hoped in here after a disappointing dinner and this made the night a success. Good Cocktails, great atmosphere with friendly waiting staff. Will definitely return for either pre-dinner or after dinner drinks if we are around.

A little relaxed bar with lots of cocktails! Very cute little place! They do table service which is a bonus! This is the second time I have come here and it's a very neat little bar on the corner of old Brompton street. I didn't think the place was expensive as you would usually find places in South Kensington.

Did not get past the door. Door person claimed I was not on the list despite I had called them a few hours before, had to disclose name, phone number, email address..and was subsequently invited to visit their place by the person taking the call. Upon arrival a fur-clad door person wasn't able to find my name on the list (what can happen). She asked me if I was not mistaken as there would be another Kensington location (not according to the Eclipse website), and subsequently interrogated me if the person who had taken my reservation has sent me a CONTRACT for the reserved visit. Furthermore, I was asked to produce the name of the person who had taken my reservation. I proposed to call the number I dialed to make the reservation, but the sidekick of the door person communicated that the number I had made the reservation with was HIS telephone number, and that it was no use calling the number as multiple people used the phone, and not all of them were known to the door staff. Having two visiting friends with me from abroad just enhanced this embarrassing experience. I decided to take my party just across the road where I was met with unpretentious London hospitality. Unfortunately, the welcoming venue did give the opportunity to witness the clientele of Eclipse through the large windows. I would wish to know if the visiting people (some in hoodies) would be able to spell the word CONTRACT as was pretended to be necessary to obtain entrance.

What we loved about this place is that it is just a cocktail bar!!! No kids running around and just well mixed cocktails and friendly staff. We are new Yorkers and we know our martinis and they are good here!!,

Very small bar/ club but nicely decorated. Cocktails are really good but expensive. Lady at the door is dismissive and they seem to charge whatever they feel like on the night at the door!

I must say I truly love this bar. Eclipse always has the right amount of staff working at one time which makes the service as expected for a bar in Kensington. Not only are the cocktails well made and reasonably priced, the music plays at the perfect volume to still be able to talk whilst upstairs. I often go to eclipse with a group of friends and we are always offered shots on the house from the very attractive bar manager (Rizz). Not to mention the welcoming management team that remember everyone I have ever brought along. I would and do recommend this bar to everyone.

Went for an event. The event was great and the cocktails were great too. We were a bit annoyed that the drinks kept being removed from our table before they had been finished though and getting served took ages!! We did get refund on the drinks thankfully. We also saw some people on the guest list get turned away!!

Paid 10 pounds each to get in. Never got told there was a birthday party going on and the downstairs bar and dance floor was filled with teenager. Got refused a refund and was intimidated by a bouncer called Ahmed . manager was rude, staff was the same would not recommend it.

popped into this bar as a pre-drink celebration prior to an awards ceremony. The staff were attentive and whilst we were the only table occupied I guess this place has a busy late night following. Their emphasis seems to be selling bottles of spirits at the table

Absolutely love this place! Its really close to where I stay, the venue is so great. I love the upstairs cocktail bar, its so relaxing and easy going. The cocktail menu looks really sexy and easy to read, and the cocktails are delicious. Would definitely recommend going there if you are in the area of Old Brompton Rd. I came on a Saturday night and even went downstairs to party, where they had a DJ and another bar. Really great service, cannot complain, staff were really pleasant and inviting, overall great place! happy customer equals happy review!

I booked a table for 8 people for my birthday last night, this was confirmed over 2 weeks ago. However when we turned up on time, at the bar we were initially turned away by the bouncers, and told there was no booking under my name. Staff were rude, arrogant and unhelpful, we were told we must have booked a table at the other Eclipse in Chelsea. Out of hope we went to the Chelsea bar, again to be told there was no reservation and our table must be at the other bar. By this point both bars were absolutely rammed with people, and staff did nothing to accommodate us. It then ruined the rest of the night as 8 people trying to get a table or get in anywhere reasonable late on a saturday is impossible. In the few minutes we were in the bar, it was cramped, with a horrendous quality sound system, full of desperate girls and pervy men. Feels like a tacky bar in Watford, not a cocktail bar in Kensington.

Wow. I have never had anyone talk to me so rudely as these people. We were sitting having a quiet drink when some horrible waitress came over and informed us to vacate our seats as our table had been reserved. We suspect by someone who thought they were wealthy. They had not even thought who they might be telling to move. The doorman realised as we were leaving but it was too late by then.

We were looking for some pre dinner drinks for a couple of hours on an early sat evening and Eclipse were very accommodating with reserving tables for our group of 10 ladies. We had a selection of cocktails from the menu all of which looked good and tasted nice and service was good, we were given a free cocktail shot on our arrival. The interior space was nice although a little small on the ground floor but think there was a basement area. Some seats outside which would be good for enjoying drinks on a nice summers day

I used to be a regular at this place. I went last Saturday with some friends and we had a very disappointing experience. We got a table served by an inexperienced waitress who was more keen on partying and flirting with people than actually serving us. We thought that was a glamorous bar in Chelsea not down in Brixton. And where is the old DJ? What's wrong with the music at this place? Shame...

The cocktails were alright. There's a variety of cocktails to choose from and the pricing is reasonable. But in my opinion there's nothing special in the taste or the look of the cocktails that my friends and I selected. The cocktail bar looks a bit tacky. The service was okay, except the bar lady who served us didn't know how to calculate the bill as we split it three ways. She had to ask us which I found quite funny.

We hired a small corner of the downstairs club for a surprise birthday party.Christian (Manager) and all his staff were excellent before and throughout the night making sure we were all looked after.We had a great night and the staff and service really made the difference for us.Would highly reccomend to anyone looking for a small private party venue.Mike

went there on a sunday eve by 7.30pm before our dinner for a drink.the seating upstairs is nothing special nor is there any concept to the place.was pretty empty. the staff where very slow but nice.the drinks just regular. i wouldn't recommend it per say

We were celebrating a friends birthday on a Saturday night and unfortunately did not have a good time. The drinks are very overpriced and in addition to this, the bar staff add a non- discretionary 12.5% tip on all drinks, even if purchased from behind the bar! Please carefully reveiw your receipts. Furthermore the music is awful on a Saturday night.

Nothing extraordinary here but useful as a venue to meet before heading elsewhere. Cocktails were ok. I did feel that the service was rushed and verging on rude.

I have been going to Eclipse for a long time as I lived around the corner. However what would be our surprise to see how much the environment has changed and how badly treated were we.We came in with the place almost empty. We were standing in one of the corners of the bar when a group of other customers started insulting us and telling us to go. At some point, one of them attacked my husband and made an attempt to hit him, totally unprovoked. The security guy, instead of asking both of them to live (at least that), decided to shake the hand of the attacker (gesture such as 'well done') and violently took my husband away.We will be speaking to the manager about this and reporting it to the police as hopefully they have cameras.Don't go there. Low class and bad staff.

un bellissimo posto a londra dove fare un aperitivo o un drink dopo cena, sempre pieno di bella gente. L unica pecca è che i drink vengono fatti con il doser, cosa che io non amo ma purtroppo nella maggior parte dei bar all estero è così.

The place was really near our apartment same street , the cocktails are lovely specially their speciality watermelon martini as well as the vesper,the customer's service isn't great however the bar tender was really nice

The place is nice, the cocktail options good. You definitely have to try the watermelon martini. The customer service instead could be improved.There were 2 waitresses: while one was very professional, the other was not so careful with clients. We had in fact to wait 15 min to order. As a nice gesture for the inconvenience they offer us a shot. Of course the initiative came from the best performing waitress. Being very busy they might need an additional help. That said there are betters bar in the westend. Of course if you decide to go clubbing, at the eclipse you have both options: bar and dance floor underground.

Lovely cosy bar and great cocktails, but the customer service was appaling, to the verge of rudeness. Waitresses collecting the glasses without asking if you finished your drink, moving chairs away of the person who has just went away for a minute, pushing people by making their way... Absolutely terrifying service.

This bar is a great place to enjoy some unusual cocktails (I recommend the somewhat spicy Guatamala Lover) with a date or a group of friends. It is generally a 20-something crowd, dark room with cool decor and good music playing over the scene.

I organised our work after party here through the manager Christian. No cover charge on the door which is great. There were over 60 of us there, service was great and cocktails are amazing. One of the best after parties the company has had. Would definitely recommend.

This is a good place if you have a good group of friends. You are not going to meet anyone here and the decor is a bit tierd. Drinks are good but are standard London club prices. The good thing abt this place is if you show up with a big group of guys you still will not have a problem getting in.

Located conveniently near a smattering of trendy/decent restaurants (Cambio del Tercio, Tendido Cero, Nam Long, Noor Jahan) on a lively stretch of Old Brompton Road. Ideal if you want to get away from totally random crowds but still want to see/be seen amongst random crowds, albeit in a more toned down, perhaps a touch more posh, local setting.

To reserve a table you need to make sure you spent > 40 sterling per Pax, which it’s alright as the location is great, a tiny bar with grumpy staff…OMG… every single snack we ordered her answer was , no we don’t have it anymore….. and we were forgotten to ask for a stamp to enter the dance area so we have to paid cover charge and closed our table upstair, amazing………, the music good, too bad plenty of “ Macho men” from Eastern Europe who kept asking us, if we would like to earn money, it was annoying and super duper irritating, for this reason, I would not come back to this est. and will warn my dear friends and family to avoid this place for sure.

As a member of a private online social network, I was there for the Chairman's Cocktails, in the basement bar, to meet fellow members in person and chill for the evening. It's easy to find, had polite friendly staff at the door, at the bar and at the cloakroom. My drink was the Lychee cocktail which was a delight. Despite being mega-busy the bar mixologists worked really quickly, I thought. Lovely decor, great aircon, DJ booth tucked discreetly away, ladies room very clean. On arrival, could I find the cloakroom?! After literally going in circles I finally found it in the corner furthest away from entrance, not cool. My drinks were complimentary, I'm afraid I don't find out the value. Would definitely recommend Eclipse Bar and would return. Top marks overall.

A group of friends and I went into Eclipse for drinks after dinner nearby. The cocktail list was great- lots of choices and the crackbaby shots were brilliant too. We then discovered the club area downstairs- brilliant music and a great atmosphere!

Our last night in London our hotel suggested this pub just behind the Bentley. We walked around, missed the bar door and ended up downstairs where a private party was taking place. I told them it was our last night in London and they welcomed us in. The nicest group of people...

I went back here to reminisce with some old friends about the shot drowned days of our wasted youth to a good telling off from both mine and my best friends wives. Still great cocktails and great fun though.
