Eat Your Heart Out in Milton Keynes

staff are genuinely horrendous but its like they pick who they are rude too. They get extremely butt-hurt if you say bread before baguette because in their world bread is only for sandwiches. Its a shame because no one deserves that level of passive aggressiveness when they are doing nothing wrong. Sort your staff out.

Out walking in the sun today and stoped here for a sandwich and jacket potato. Very nice and will definitely be back!

Me and my friend visited this cafe yesterday, when we entered, there was no queue, after us few people entered and the staff members started serving the customers except us, we were in the front of the queue they all keep ignoring us and after waiting there for 10-15 minutes no one served us and then we left. This was our first visit to this cafe. The staff was very very rude, and racist. I hope the owner of this cafe may read this review and make staff to face the consequences about their behaviour.

I LOVE the baguettes from here however, every single time I go in, the staff are miserable and I see from the reviews below, I am not the only one this happens to. I tell them my order (which is the same each time since very recently) and pre-empt their questions but because they aren't listening properly, they ask me the questions again and not in a polite way, either. This could be very popular however, they let themselves down with the lack of Customer Service......

I have been here on a few occasions for lunch and have always found the choice of bread and fillings to be good. It is a nice clean place and theres seating if you want to eat-in. Quite colourful and bright in its decor. a better alternative to a subway.

Disappointing as always and this is mainly down to the miserable staff, only two of the ladies actually smile (I must say they are very cheerful and polite) the rest are never welcoming especially the one with the blonde hair and nose piercing. She is flat out rude, I have visited the shop on many occasions (I always wonder why I bother to be honest as it’s never a friendly atmosphere when she’s working) , she has never used any manners - ie a simple please or thank you. She looks at you like you’re putting her out and you’re ruining her day by ordering your food, the food that she is paid to her serve customers. I have never met anyone in the retail/customer service industry with such a rude and miserable attitude, I feel she would be better off in the back away from customers or maybe a new career as a traffic warden would suit her better. The food is ok, bit overpriced and not really worth the price considering the constantly disappointing service! Sainsbury’s is a stones throw away and the staff are always pleasant, Eat your heart out will not last as a business if they don’t make their customers feel welcome!! The excessive signage is also extremely off putting, I feel like a child being given orders. It should be a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere but sadly it’s not. Manners cost nothing!

Just been for lunch and remembered why I don't come here. Awful staff and the overpriced, tasteless, meagre portion of sandwich filling. This place just survives because of its location and they charge accordingly.i won't be going back not would I recommend it. I will be going to Sainsbury's round the corner in future not as posh but not as rude either.

So handy for lunch and makes a welcome change from the food at work Bread is always lovley and fresh, great selection of fillings and also serve hot food. Nice, bright atmosphere with seating in or out. Would defiantly recommend

Great range of hot and cold sandwiches, rolls and other breads. Great staff with lovely smiles and very chatty.

The food is ok but the staff are so miserable. So so miserable!!! It's as though when you order food you are really putting them out. You almost feel guilty walking in there... shame because the food is ok.

Was on a training course in Milton Keynes and the company used Eat Your Heart Out to provide lunchtime refreshments. I had a cajun chicken baguette, which was very good. The bread was fresh, fillings generous and the quality of meat above par.

The sandwiches are lovely, and so are the jackets/cakes. I know that it gets very busy there, but the staff really would benefit from giving out a few smiles.

Though it has been open for over 18 months now, I never knew it existed - despite going regularly to the Willen local centre and the Sainsbury's local next door. I was amazed at the choice they have on offer for lunch and with a constant queue of people from offices and businesses round here, they all clearly knew its value. Made to order baguettes and sandwiches or a small selection of pre-made options, it was the former which people ordered - and so did we. Stilton and bacon with a dash of cranberry was stunningly good but eyeing the others was enough to get me to go back again. So much choice! Coffees, and a wide choice of teas, soft drinks and juices really shows that they know the market - and the prices were very fair indeed. Open from 0800 to 1600 and with breakfast options and outside catering too are useful facts to know too. The interior decor was smart clean and attractive yet on a constructive note I would only fault the shops interior layout itself - caused no doubt by the angled end which presented a cluttered and untidy bottleneck. Overall a really excellent 'find' by my daughter.

Everything arrived at house on time, helped set up the water heater, nice selection of food and cakes, and very resonably priced. Thanks again.

Two of the biggest issues with this sandwich shop is the staff and the actual food. Nearly 90% of the mixes have some sort of sauce on them. Whether this is mayonnaise or tomato. There are very limited "fresh" choices as such. By this I mean products that aren't smothered in something. Also the issue of staff putting so much butter in your roll it leaves teeth marks. It just ruins the baguette. Staff could be a bit more pleasant and happier. Price is fair. Have visited here on and off for 10 years and can see that it isn't as good as it once was.

Disgusting customer service, was the only person in the shop this morning and the 2 staff on duty just ignored me whilst I waited at the counter to be served - After 5 minutes I had to ask whether the shop was open as I thought I must have walked in whilst they were getting ready to open or something. The assistant looked at me as if I was something she'd stepped in. I will not be visiting again.

La comida es estupenda y la elección pero por favor el personal puede ser reemplazada o al menos parece que los clientes relación calidad-precio. Sé que los clientes son una lata, pero mantienen el lugar abierto y el personal empleado. No todos están más Moody y hacer que resulte desagradable para visitar.

Fantastic to have a coffee shop now in willen, but just wish there were comfy settees instead of leather diner type seats.
