Food was served cold manager was very rude to workers despite them being very young started an argument which then escalated felt very unsafe and was very unwelcoming, will not visit again!

At first we were having an amazing experience, the staff seemed friendly, responsive and the food was nice. The issues came at the end of our meal. Upon calculating our bill next day, we should have paid £109 and were charged £141 on the day and told with was without service charge so stupidly we tipped on top. When it came to the bill we did not get given a copy, the server let my friend quickly glance at it. Looking back, we didn’t even get asked if we wanted a copy at all. We got charged £141 and got told this was without the service charger. I understand we should have reviewed the bill further but did not think we would be over charged/scammed. My friend said she can now recall seeing we got charged £20 in corner of her eye for the Birthday dessert. I can see this on the website but we never consented to paying £20 for a birthday dessert, we were given this without asking us. And if we were to pay for the £20 birthday special, we never got given the alcohol free Prosecco that is meant to come with the package. Even with the birthday package we did not consent to, it should have been £129, without it should’ve been £109, so how did we get charged £141 and were told it was Without a service charge when asked. Looking back it feels dodgy we only got shown the receipt at a glimpse and not offered a copy of it. On top of this the server made an inappropriate joke at the end when my card got declined, said ‘ quick ring daddy to send you money’, super rude, unprofessional and offensive! I’ve tried to both email and message via Google and the only response I got after several messages was ‘we will look into this’ no apology or anything to rectify the situation and nothing since.

Could not fault our meal at all, seated straight away, food was delicious and the staff were efficient and kind. The lovely lady who served us gave us a complimentary dessert - which was lovely so thankyou. Read some reviews on trip advisor which rated 1 star, was shocked when we went we had amazing service and enjoyed it all.

Went here yesterday with friends. Food was 10/10. Every single dish hit the spot - Service was exceptional due to their friendly and attentive staff. We ordered halloumi, chicken wings, ribs, dynamite prawns for starters. For the mains we ordered the chicken sizzlers and ribeye steak, mac and cheese, and the most delicious handcut chips. Dessert was decadent and out of this world. 10/10 overall! Only thing we’d change is to open one in Bradford so we can go all the time !

Isn’t all that , food was terrible not much taste very chewy. Even though we had booked a table we still had to wait 15 minutes more, service wasn’t the best either wouldn’t recommend definitely won’t be coming back not worth the money either

The booking policy is a shambles. £20 taken at time of booking then not returned to card. Sending numerous emails. The first £20 returned after 20 days. Now they are asking for our proof of booking before they return our second £20 booking payment. Probably won’t eat there again!! Seems like a scam!!

Fantastic place for the whole family, great food and lots of theatre...very friendly staff.....The mocktails took so long to arrive but when they came they were so good I forgot about the wait. I would recommend. Many thanks!!

If you turn up earlier than your booking, be prepared for rubbish service. You would expect if you were late then yes the service would be rubbish due to annoyance of you being late, but this was the other way round, annoyance of their customers being early. Staff member at the till/by the door, was as rude as can be. Very argumentative, and when asked questions he responded in such a rude manner. I didn’t get his name, but he made me feel very uneasy. Should’ve just walked out but gave them the benefit of doubt. After waiting 45 mins (past the booking time) finally we were showed to our table. Our order had been taken whilst waiting and food came shortly after we were seated but no drinks to be seen anywhere. Had to ask 3 times for our drinks (at this point our starters were finished and our mains were here). There had been some sort of issue with the drinks ingredients (mocktails) but rather than say that, they kept fobbing us off. The ONLY person who actually spoke to us with a smile and gave us somewhat decent service was Anusha. She was the one who confirmed there was an issue with the drinks hence why we didn’t get them in a timely manner. She gave us the drinks ‘on the house’ as way of apology. Food was tasteless. The focus is put on the theatrical elements, rather than the actual food. And definitely not worth the price or the hassle or the feeling of being spoken down to like rubbish. A ‘discretionary’ service charge is added to your bill (but you wouldn’t know as they do it all on a PDA and to get your receipt you have to ask for it at the main till). If it was somewhat decent service / decent food, I would be happy to tip. But this was neither. Also to book a table you have to pay a booking deposit. This should be released automatically within 10 working days of your visit. Be prepared to chase this, and again spoken to by rude and unhelpful members of staff whilst trying to sort this. Don’t waste your money. Or your time. Much better restaurants 10 mins down the road.

We came here for my friends 30th birthday, booked a table for 8, got seated straight away, but the table wasn’t big enough for the food we ordered, our sides came first which were coldish, then our steaks came which you cook partly your self on a hot stove, this came 5 minutes after the sides, the steak took a while to cook on this so called hot stove which went cold to quick so for people who like there steak medium to well done, this isn’t the option for you my steak was still red raw, which knocked me sick! I had to ask for a fork about 3 times, the pepper corn sauce that comes with the meal didn’t come I had to ask 6 times for this no lie, I was fuming. We took a cake in ourselves to sing happy birthday to my friend which the staff new, But because of the wait and trouble we had with the food the manager brought over 3 free deserts which is good but not when you have brought one in which didn’t then get eaten, we had no warning about the cake being brought out the table wasn’t cleared, when the waitress put the cake down a glass knocked over and got 2 of us wet through and the glass had smashed, the staff was adamant and blamed us for moving the glass and saying it was our fault but we showed them recordings of this happening! The female staff were really rude and didn’t show no empathy at all they wasn’t bothered! The manager came over and did knock some money of our bill which we did appreciate, as paying for the poor service and cold food wasnt right, we all have said we woudlt return and if people are looking for a good steak place to go to etci mehment instead you won’t be disappointed.

Had a booking for 10 o'clock, was made to stand outside in the cold for 40 minutes with no explanation or anything to why a table wasn't available when we had a booking. We were seating at around quarter to 11 next to a fire exit door on the top floor that is used frequently by staff and leads to outside which is therefore very cold especially after being stood outside for that long. We were then told our food would be 40 minutes which would have been around 12am as we had to wait for our order to be taken. This was a birthday meal that was completely ruined and we had travelled to the restaurant and we couldn't eat at another restaurant because of how late it was. We also did not get any sort of apology after talking to the manger about cancelling our food and drinks once we found out the wait time and that we'd be having our food at 12am on Sunday when our table was booked for 10pm on Saturday. We left politely and would never recommend this restaurant to anyone as around 20 other agitated customers we're also stood outside for the same amount of time.I chose this restaurant because of how of positively it is shown in social media however it is definitely Isn’t what it’s shown to be.

The food was excellent, everything cooked to perfection. A bit of a wait between the starters and main course, but worth the wait. Everything from starters to dessert was freshly prepared and I can honestly say it was one of the best, if not the best meal I have had, served by friendly staff. Highly recommend and would definitely go again.

Ordered the T bone which was over priced sh*te possibly dog or something this restaurant was so over priced i instantly had the sh*ts after my meal i went to the toilet to find that everyone else had ruined the bog aswell in which case i paid the bill and immediatly rushed out of this poorly run establishment into a neighbouring bar where the WC were much cleaner and well kept and had explosive sh*ts… on the way back home (45mins or less) i had to stop another 2 times this restaurant is so far down in my opinion and other family members opinions also because they have has similar symptoms of dehli belly

Staff have not a clue what’s going on. They are unprofessional, and look and act as if they are a group of youngsters out on a college night. The customer service needs to be upped by a mile! Staff training is a MUST! Every staff from phones at reservation centre to the seating staff to the waiters all have an attitude of ‘know it all’ and just do not want to listen to your requests or your explanations. It’s so mind boggling how they got the job or why they are in this job if it’s not what they want to be doing. Food- decent. Would you go through the frustration and disrespect of the customer service for decent food which could be found in many places nearby- one to think about. I would not recommend.

Unacceptable experience for such a pretty place 1/8 starters came out then 15 minutes later a further 7 came. (We came as a 5 and would’ve preferred to eat all together). Mains came and three orders of lamb shank came out and was completely inedible...

We attended in a group of 9 on Friday (yesterday). Amazing service, atmosphere and food. The atmosphere was warm and the staff wore beautiful smiles while obliging every request. The food was the best too.
