I eat here most days and is consistently very good. I went today and the falafel have changed, they are smaller and flatter which has led to them nearly burning in fryer, I asked staff and they offered more but all the falafel are the same, usually they are a little crispy and soft in the middle, now they are crunchy, greasy and the middle feels empty. I always come here after the gym with friends, we will come back to see if the falafel are up to the usual standard. If not we will go elsewhere. A real shame hope they sort it out

Seems rude behaviour. I have been to almost all eat a pita’s in bristol but them one feels a little off. I ordered food and they made me wait a long time. I saw the orders delivered to people that ordered after me. Not again.

Food has gone down hill, it’s watery sloppy mush. Prices have gone up and Portion sizes have gone down. Not worth the money anymore. Also staff there look miserable

I'm leaving a review as I emailed and disappointingly, I didn't receive a reply. I ate in a week ago upstairs on Gloucester road. The food was good but upon leaving the stairs was really slippery and I fell down the first five steps. I was left badly bruised, sore and shaken up. I had to work at home the next day to recover. If it was an elderly person who had fallen I dread to think in what shape they would be left in. It's not the first time the stairs has been slippery in there and it really needs to be checked more. When we arrived the two tables that were free hadn't been cleaned so I doubt the stairs is being regularly checked either. I won't be visiting this venue again after my experience. Please sort it out.

Love this place but staff are useless sometimes literally two bits of carrot one piece of tomato and cucumber is all you get in a half empty pitta ,when it's good it's really good but they need more consistency

The place to go if you around. Super filling food and is my fovourite when near by. Go for it. It's worth it

The best takeaway in bristol, quick service for a delicious healthy vegetarian/ vegan meal that you feel good for eating. Plenty of salads and sauces to choose from that compliment their freshly made falafels. Well worth a visit.

Enjoyed eat a pitta for years. Now there's new prices, new boxes 7.75 for what is now a small bowl of vegetables and 5 falafels. Shame really. Now its just an expensive snack. 😕

Couldn’t comment on food - went to pick up a too good to go bag, ordered and paid for on the app, rude woman said everyone’s collected all their bags. Clearly not everyone had, but said everyone had showed their codes and then just shut the door on me. Not impressed.

Really great filled pitta bread with falafel and cheese.....tasty. Unfortunately rather difficult to eat without plate or knives!

Falafels are smaller, less falafel per portion. Pita is smaller, new price is significantly higher and all portion sizes are "small" no option for a larger situation. However still tastes amazing just a shame that I could get a filling lunch for a fair price and now to achieve the same satisfaction I have to pay double.

Used to be amazing with good prices and large portions, now the portions are smaller and prices much higher. Shrinkflation at its best. Its a shame, the food is still lovely but its no where near as satisfyingly filling or good value at all. Disappointing.

Food is great but eat a pitta has changed for the worst. Portion size has lowered and price has gone up. I remember they used to sell “classic hummus bowl” with a side pitta and it would fill you up nicely for hours. Now you get much smaller portion size and pay for a separate pitta. My past 2 recent orders have also always had something missing… What a shame!

Went to this beautiful establishment and was greeted with a massive smile from a worker called Oran. He filled my pitta to the brim and it was delicious.

Used to love it here, but recently they’ve upped the price and substantially shrunk the size of the falafel 😞 shame, it is delicious, but I’m not sure it still represents good value for money

Was very disappointed in the size of the portion for the cost of it was expecting more there was no pitta bread either

Not a good experience for me I’m afraid. Bought a large box which barely had food! It was packed by a trainee who should have been more closely supervised. Pretty gutted, not coming back in a while.

Different level of scran, especially when you're hungover.

I ordered at 16:14 and it arrived at 17:40 food was cold and soggy from the salad.

The food is still good but unfortunately portion sizes have drastically been reduced and prices have been hugely inflated. I understand the price hikes but the smaller boxes and sizes when it's just effectively salad? A small box isn't big enough anymore you need a medium so that costs even more. Plus the pickles have been cut no turnips or pickled onion. It's a shame as I like it but it doesn't reflect good value anymore.

Beautiful food. It was pretty busy but the staff were diligent and efficient. Absolutely stacked pitta and every bite was delicious. I only went in there thanks to a Google search for food around me but will 100% visit again.

"Eat a Pitta" has long been a Bristol favourite. However, recent changes have seen a noticeable dip in its value for money. Most strikingly, the quantity of hummus provided has diminished considerably. Where once they generously filled the container, now you receives only a modest dollop. It feels as though the dedication once poured into their food has waned. It seems their previous commitment to quality has taken a backseat.

Absolutely delicious food! Had the classic falafel in a pitta, with the tahini. It was absolutely packed into the pitta, the falafel were cooked perfectly, & it tasted incredible. Highly recommend!

Bread was ordered and didn’t arrive

Regarding an order today 1st of August 2023 at 8:30PM. I have placed an order for two extra pittas along with a sharing platter for which I have been charged 15.60. I have been given my parcel and been updated that the pitta is the pack. But after reaching home there was no extra pitta. You have gained nothing by spoiling someone's dinner.

Really great falafel and salad, and speedy too. They were super generous with the portions and I loved the sauces, pickles, and warm falafel.

The shop is soooooo dirty. No hygiene everywhere. Foods on the floor...the table upstairs are disgusting and the place that prepare the food totally mess...I am not coming back...

Falfel was amazing. I had a regular falafel in pita with a bit of everything. You need a fork for it which is provided. I didn't like the every thing bit as it took the nice taste of falafel into a sea of irrelevant tastes. Next time i will have it with hummus pickles and tahini sauce. Seating area was ok, up stairs with a bathroom

The portion sizes are so good. Salad options are amazing and falafels are tasty. Would recommend salad boxes.

Normally love this place but I ate here on Monday and got really bad food poisoning.

Just had the falafel humus combo. I actually cried it was so good, how lucky to eat such great food! Fresh. Nutritious and delicious food!!! Smiley and friendly service!!

This place was recommended to me. Wish I never went there today, the guy working the tills was totally rude as if he didn’t want to be there or he didn’t want me looking at the food or both. Half my box was filled with grated carrots the dressing was non existent and falafels were hella dry. I definitely wouldn’t recommend the walk-in service. If you do go keep your distance and don’t tell them what you want to eat and sit down like a naughty child until you are called.

Absolutely atrocious letting staff work in this heat. It feels like it is almost 50 degrees within the premises and the staff do not seem to be provided with proper air conditioning, in a small space next to fryers and hot food! This is not acceptable….

I received someone called Andy G's order instead. It had vegan sauces whereas my order had extra halloumi and tzatziki. I was fine with my order but I worry if vegan Andy got mine and wasn't able to eat it.

Great falafel in a pitta. This was my 1st falafel experience and it was rather nice, so recommend it. Tasty and extremely nourishing.

Salad wasn't fresh, gave us both dodgy tummy's, disappointed in them to be honest.

There was a queue outside this place and I could see, and later taste why. Absolutely delicious! A huge amount of ingredient choices to suit all customers needs. All served with a warm smile from staff that naturally engaged well with each person. Highly recommend Eat a Pitta 😋

Sauces had leaked out of the bag all into the bottom of the bag making all the rest of the food soggy and the wrapping attaching to it as well as one of the boxes being half open making all the toppings strewn around the bottom too

This is the best falafel ever and I love it. BUT I can never open the plastic containers and it’s really annoying! Particularly when it’s so delicious that I wanna get into it quickly to eat it. Pleaaaaase get better packaging!

The mixture of salads have changed slightly I noticed today. All good nonetheless. The pickled turnips are great too.

Prices keep going up and the boxes aren’t as full anymore. I’ve had to say something twice over the past months over the lesser weight.

I have to say that I'm not a falafel fan myself . However I particularly enjoyed this one. Crunchy and tasty. Their pitta full of veggies and falafel is a great choice for a healthy lunch.

Probably it's one of the best falafel shops around. Freshly prepared and tasty! Good selection of salads and competitive prices It's almost a must when I pass by, yet during my last visit in Gloucester Road, I was I little disappointed. I bought 2 X 10 Pcs boxes of falafels with hummus, some pittas bread and drinks. When I got to destination, the 2 "plastic boxes" where completely melted because of the heat from the hot falafels and we couldn't split the two containers. It's not really inviting when you are going to meet with people and the food you brought looks like that. Surely Iam not the first one to which it is happened this, if not probably it would be a good idea to start to look to packaging alternatives. Hopefully it won't happen again! After this review and feedback, I am craving for some of your hot falafels (without the box this time).

Good food and friendly service... Would be happier if you could offer some glasses/cups (for zero waste) so we can drink some water whilst eating in. Even vegware options are unnecessary for simply, having some water.

Amazing value for money, if you’re looking for a healthy (ish!) quick bite then Eat a Pitta is a great option. The pitta breads are delicious, firm favourite is the hummus box with the salads. Bargain! The falafels are a steal, grab yourself a box with some hummus to enjoy up the road in St Andrews Park.

Consistently excellent quality, food and service. Cannot fault any of the items on offer from the Falafels to the mix of salads always work well together and the Hummus, Babaganoush and sauces up the ante. Portions are generous and good value for the money. Well done guys, please keep up the good work.

Ordered 10 falafels only got 6, the food is good here but your staff get confused with the following on the receipt: 1 x #6 Falafels on their Own x10

3 times now, I order for collection and its not ready when I get there. So I have to stand in the rain while it's made. It was also made on the wrong bread this time. Also, multiple times my order has been cancelled because the staff haven't pressed OK on the machine in time. If the food wasn't so good, I really wouldn't bother coming.

It was late due to a driver not being assigned soon enough and the weather was bad, otherwise happy with the service.
