My food was delivered late, cold and had no flavour.

First customer for the new burger service. It was the best burger I have had. The meat was tasty, tender but well cooked. The fillings were tasty and flavoursome. The bun was soft but stayed together nicely all the way through. The chips were thin and crispy so there's no competition with the chip shop next door. Service was excellent. Really pleased to give such a positive review.

Second time ordering from here and I can’t complain thoroughly enjoyed the food at a very reasonable price and also to mention the delivery guy was very polite. I would definitely recommend to order from here.

The food was average and service also . But when I calculated the total price after I paid , I found they have charged me more than it was in the menu .

I arrived unknowing just as they where closing, unfortunately there card machine wasn't working so I had to pop to favel and grab some cash but all the same these lovely staff still made the loaded fries I had asked for and met me at my car on the arrival at 10.40pm 10 mins after they closed with my order, when I tell you the good was to die for I'm not exaggerating, this was my 1st experience going there and I sure will be returning, they have made a customer of me and my son now. Thank you so much guys I promise not to be a late Comer in future but your generosity didn't go unnoticed 😊

We have used Eastern Balti many times through just eat and once had a bad experience but gave them the benefit of the doubt as the food is good. Unfortunately, exactly the same thing happened tonight. They say the orders on the way and then when you query its late they say its been delivered which it obviously hasn't. They offered to send again, ok great, but when that doesn't turn up they get rude and abusive. They obviously use the same story every time. I wouldn't order if I were you, they don't appreciate loyal customers.

Great food & amazing service as always. I have ordered takeout for years and have dined in a couple of times and service is always amazing from the owner. Food is really good and much better than the other spots in the area. Great value for money and always recommend, they offer great discounts if you order directly from them

Lovely food and great service, owners are friendly and food is great. Highly recommend their rice boxes, loaded box and the chef's special. These guys are my go to, used to use ecton tandoori but had bad experience last couple of orders. Eastern Balti is great value for menu, highly recommend.

Worst Restaurant ever in this area

Love this place especially the loader tikka box!

One day I took biriyani from here and I must say it was very good . I enjoyed it alot . I recommended this restaurant to all of my friends. I also suggest you to try tikka from here . It was just the best . Really enjoyed it . The staff are very helpful as well.

Once again, a delicious curry from my local curry house, Eastern Balti, never disappoints!! I always collect my order and I think because of this we always get freebies! Two delicious chicken curry with pilau rice and Keema naan and then I get free…. Popadoms and Bombay potatoes, can’t be bad and all for just over 20 quid! we usually order early, collection is usually ready within about 15 minutes and can park right outside. Staff are always friendly and polite! Thanks again, delicious!!

We had a delivery driver friendly currys where lovely but rice was watery and nann breads where put in same bag one was plain and other one coco nut I could eat as I cant eat coconut make me ill poppa doms sortt

Lamb schaslick, coconut rice,peshwari naan for main and chicken pakora for starters. Portion sizes were not small and mingy but we're very well proportioned. In fact the group of 4 of us were so full we took the rest home as a takeaway. Meat was cooked to perfection especially the lamb. I've been ordering from just eat and eating in the restaurant for over 11yrs and I have never had a problem with food or service. When dining in, the staff are more than attentive and nothing is of bother to them. The owner (chef, is more than happy to suggest what may be of interest or to cook something more appetising for first timers, which is a service other Indian restraunts don't offer). Prices extremely reasonable considering the portion sizes and the amount of meat (which isn't factory glued meat but actual real meat)

We got a takeaway! Got it home and found mould on the chicken , we video and took pictures as we took the rest out , Disgusting! Training standards have been called, DO NOT GO THERE! Q

First time using these guys, was served by a polite young man upon ordering. I order a Tandoori mixed grill, Lamb syleti with special rice, the mix grill tasted fresh and was very flavourful, the lamb syleti was rich in flavour, lamb was nice and tender. Special rice was great, the rice was fluffy just the way I like it. Overall great experience, well done guys!

3 hours after eating everyone that had, had food was feeling ill and by 4 hours later sick. A naan bread was missing and instead of sending anouther I was told I would be given an extra one next time, well jokes on me because I obviously won't be ordering from here again. I chose to pay cash and the bill was just over £36.00 but when the delivery driver arrived he said it was actually £38.00 and never gave me the receipt to question him. And when we called to report the health and safety issue with the reasturant, they called us liar's and said it must be our own fault. Even though this was the only meal we had both had together that day. They said everything was made fresh and that no one else complained, but if everything was made fresh then no one would have eaten the exact same food. Never again.

I ordered a meal for one of my residents in a residential home, it came cold they forgot the peshweri naam and the coke . When I rang to say they had forgotten the peshweri they hung up on me

Ordered Biryani yesterday night, paid £4 for delivery only ,quantity is very less compared to other restaurants in the town, only 3 small chicken pieces in it. Taste also not good. No salad or sauce given. Only the good thing is one small box of vegetable curry and put two Papadom in the parcel. Expected time of delivery shown in the just eat app is 10.20 to 10.40 pm but I got it on 10.50. So overall I won’t recommend this restaurant to anyone. I wasted my money, I’m very much disappointed. Please don’t do this to anyone else. Try to give good tasty food with sufficient quantity on time. Value others money. I’m sorry for the negative feedback. But I’m forced to do this.

Ordered through Deliveroo, after waiting an hour and estimated 40mins delivery I rang the restaurant, to be told the order is on route. 90 mins later I call again and I'm told the order is still in the restaurant and it will be a further 20mins. I proceed to explain that the prior phone call to the person answering phone and mid conversation he answers the phone to another no doubt unsatisfied customer. The food arrived 2hours and 20mins after ordering with incorrect and missing items. The delivery driver asked for the order back. The manager called screaming down the phone.. " you'll get a refund" slammed the phone down. No food, no customer service, no customer satisfaction, no resolve and yep you guessed it no refund

First time we used this restaurant for a delivery and would recommend to everyone! Food was delicious, especially the Madras. Will definitely be using here again.

They appear to have an incredibly rude member of staff, outrageous customer service! Called to ask if a dish could be made vegan and was shouted at over the phone continuously. When asked him politely to stop screaming at me, he continued.

Go elsewhere! Ordered food last night and my son found a hair in his naan. I called them within about 5 minutes of the food arriving to tell them and was told "We have no women working in here". You what?!?! It was actually baked into it! The man was so rude as if I was lying! I was then asked my number and they would call me back - well, it's 12 hours later and I still haven't had that call. The food was a sloppy mess and looked like dog sick. Lamb was gristly, saag paneer had about 4 chunks of cheese, rice was clumped stuck together. The lot went in the bin!!

Excellent value. The reviews complaining about their Uber Eats orders being cancelled either ordered from outside of the 6 mile limit (e.g. from outside of Northampton) or below the £15 minimum order price. Takeaway made that clear tbf.

We are staying at Billing Aquadrome family of 7 decided we would like a nice curry so ordered from these We ordered a lot of currys and all the extras came to £50 asked about the discount but he said he would give us extra currys etc Went to reception to collect walked all the way back to pitch all there was were 1 extra curry No hot atall the chips were missing had to phone back up to get them to deliver so had another journey to do Didnt realy get a discount because it was the value of the extra curry Not realy the best and disappointed I work in curry house in Liverpool so know what they should taste like Could do better realy

EXTREMELY BAD SERVICE and were rude when I called them up about my order after waiting over an hour for the food to arrive. I do not recommend this 'resturant' at all and they are not worth your time or money. I am truly DISGUSTED. If there was an option for 0 stars, I would definitely give that. I will never order from here ever again and I hope that nobody else does either.

DO NOT USE!!! Very rude to me over the phone when I called to ask about my order, calling me a liar when I said I've been waiting almost an hour for my food, for them to have cancelled it! Their reason for cancelling my order, was because I live too far for a "small order" and if I spent £30!!!! They would have delivered to me. The person I spoke to over the phone was disgusting to me, shouting at me down the phone! Not only did I have to wait nearly an hour for them to then cancel my order, I then get abuse down the phone for asking why!! Absolutely disgusting service, doesn't deserve peoples money!!!

I've been using this takeaway for a number of years on and off. Prior to my last order I had a bad tummy but wasn't sure where it had come from. However, after my last order my husband and I both had horrendous sickness and diarrhea for 5 days which the doctor confirmed was food poisoning. I'm not sure why the food hygiene has suddenly dropped so dramatically but please do not order from them. I most definitely won't ever again.

The Eastern Balti is a small takeaway and restaurant serving the Eastern areas of Northampton situated approximately 4 miles from the town itself. The premises were originally opened over a decade ago by established chef Abdul Kadir who had worked for many years within the historical town renowned for the boot and shoe industry which boasted one of the first Indian restaurants outside of London dating back to around 1950, since that time the singular Indian restaurant choice has expanded to around a choice of fifty. Abdul had originally observed that the Eastern area lacked the amenities of an Indian food outlet and opened the premises as a take away but as popularity grew he expanded the business to encompass a small and intimate restaurant seating around thirty covers. The Eastern Balti makes no claims of multi award or fine dine but serves traditional Indian cuisine at a realistic price in comfortable surroundings plus it supplies take away food in express time delivered to your door or it can be collected from the restaurant itself which has a small but comfortable waiting area should you ever have to wait more than a few minutes for your order. Eastern Balti is smartly and simply decorated in warm spicy colours on a contemporary theme with simple table decorations boasting crisp cotton napkins. On entering the restaurant Abdul showed us to our table and drinks were offered, the restaurant is licensed and there is a small selection of drinks although the facility of taking your alcohol is offered with just a small surcharge to cover the glasses and ice if required. We had gone on a Wednesday night to take advantage of his banquet which offers starters, mains, side dish rice or roti plus coffee or tea at just £8.95 (seafood dishes fractionally more) which is extremely good value for money and an encouragement to return to the restaurant on other nights or order an express take away. We chose a large platter of Tandoori mixed kebabs between us which consisted of chicken and lamb tikas plus sheek kebabs on a bed of fresh salad, all were delicately spiced and tantalised the palette ready for the main courses which were served after a reasonable break to allow the starters to digest. Myself and my partner chose a rich hot and spicy lamb dish called Sylhety, a medium heat Raj Rani Murgi which is a chicken dish enhanced with lamb mince and Egg which is a meal in itself plus Dhal and Saag Paneer, both sides dishes were as expected and we also ordered a vegetable rice and Pashwari Naan. All dishes were cooked and spiced to a high standard and in no way were a representation of the very minimal price which we paid for the meal which was just over £21 which included soft drinks and a mixer to accompany the feast. Eastern Balti has become part of the community and last year Mr Kadir lent his restaurant in order to raise funds for the Premature Baby Unit at the local hospital which was highly successful raising just under £1000 for this worthwhile charity and I was privileged to be help with the organisation of the event of which I found Abdul, his staff and family a pleasure to work with, we hope to repeat that success in the first quarter of 2014 when we hope to highlight a Bollywood Dance Duo to entertain in this smart but compact restaurant.

if you want a curry soup with very little meat then this is the place for you, portion size was terrible... however despite all this, it was really tasty..BUT i will certainly not be going back here again, and customer service and empathy on a scale of 1 - 10... i would give a 1, but like i said...good place for a curry soup.

I wish Google would let me give this takeaway no stars . We were deliberately overcharged and the food was very poor. The ingredients did not seem to be fresh and some of the dishes were inedible so went straight in the bin. There are so many other Indian restaurants in the area. Avoid this one!

AFTER deleting my review on just eat after completely ruing and order by sending wrong food and even not sending items ordered, they refused to acknowledge that they messed up and even refused any kind of refund or replacement, so Eastern balti u may delete from just eat but I will post where ever possible so people know what a shocking service you provide.. My advice to anyone who thinks of ordering from here avoid and order from any where else as u will have better food and service.

Your feet stick to the floor, the prices on the menu is not what they try and charge you. Check your bill before paying!!
