not sure what's happened to this place but food was worse than luke warm and balti was oily had half plate swimming in it even the mushroom rice was oily. last time I'm afraid 😨

Rather disappointed with tonight's meal. Poppadoms were soft. Chips needed a few more minutes, but the worst part; TWO LITTLE METAL WIRE SHARDS were found in the chicken tikka roll (good job I'm one of those people that pick apart their food!!) Plus note, Chicken Garlic Balti was spot on!!

Food was extremely late considering we are only a 5 minute drive from the restaurant. Poppadoms are soggy, chips under cooked, rice over cooked and sloppy. Curries had zero flavour and korma was cold.Called the restaurant to ask how long delivery would be and was met with an extremely rude man. Honestly would not recommend to anyone

Never had Bombay potato before from there with no onions or tomatoes in was like potatoes in a korma sauce. Tikka masala was tasteless and the chicken like rubber. The rice and peswari Nann was the best bit. Very disappointed

35minutes late in the end … only because I called them to double check it was on the way! Last time they forgot mango chutney. Pilau rice was very watery! Disappointing

Food was average, after spending £40 i expected at least some salad and extra poppadoms with my order but didnt unfortunately. Food was 20 mins late when theyre just a 3 mins drive from my house, and when i called up to ask where my food was the man on the phone was rude and didnt even let me finish my sentence before abruptly saying “yes mam its on its way” and hanging up on me. Disappointing wont be ordering from here again.

Ordered a makhani curry(butter chicken) but got chicken korma.

The food originally said 5:35 delivery. It then changed to 5:30 to 5:50pm the app stated the food was delivered at 5:50. After calling the restaurant the food finally arrived at 6:15pm it was barely warm

Food is cold, naans are soggy. Missing a sauce for biryani so called the restaurant to be told I’m lying as they didn’t believe me, rude! eventually agreed to deliver another one within half hour.

food came early. everything was correct and food was piping hot. it all tasted amazing and good price too. never go anywhere else now for indian food. beat around.

The food wasn’t as good as usual, it wasn’t very hot and needed putting in the microwave. Part of my order was missing.

First time ordering and I was impressed! Everything hot and a good spice too. The lamb was quite tender which is hard to find with some Indian takeaways, no gristle at all! I would order again

Never used Eastern Balti before, I’m very glad we did . Food was absolutely excellent , delivery was 20 mins early , used discount through just eat and the food quality was perfect. We definitely recommend and will use again.

We have used Eastern Balti many times through just eat and once had a bad experience but gave them the benefit of the doubt as the food is good. Unfortunately, exactly the same thing happened tonight. They say the orders on the way and then when you query its late they say its been delivered which it obviously hasn't. They offered to send again, ok great, but when that doesn't turn up they get rude and abusive. They obviously use the same story every time. I wouldn't order if I were you, they don't appreciate loyal customers.

Ordered a meal from here. Delivery driver delivered to wrong address but because it’s in the same street that’s apparently my problem. It’s a real shame because ordered from here multiple times before and always had good meals.

Great food again! It arrived quickly, hot and was as tasty as it usually is.

Food was the best part of an hour late. No updates provided. Sadly food arrived and was cold. It's a shame because it's normally lovely. Unlucky to come back which is a shame - will miss the loaded chips.

Driver was rude food was cold I don’t even think they attempted too cook it not possible how cold it was all tasted the same not a nice experience at all will not return if that’s the standard first and last for me

Good food at reasonable prices. This has become my go to restaurant for curry night. Traditional chicken curry (medium) is very tasty.

Always a bit hit and miss if they read the notes asking for one dish without onion. This was the second time in a row and there was more onion in the dish than ever before making it very hard to enjoy.

This is the first curry I've had in absolutely ages! I did actually have one a couple of days prior to this one now that I think about it. Both were very nice.

No Korai sent rice and Naan and onion bhaji useless without the korai, restaurant to busy to rectify my order! Reimbursed only for Korai 😡

The food was late and no effort was made really to inform us of that. I had to do the chasing. It is a shame as well because the food is always absolutely spot on.

Amazing food! Highly recommend I order here only when having Indian. The people are lovely and polite and they make you feel great, they give you extras when being a regular customer. If they forget any order they will bring your item straight away or you can ask for extra next time. They are just amazing.

Excellent food with generous portions, I'd forgotten the level of heat in a proper Madras! The food was ready really quickly.

food was of low quality, poppadoms were broken into small pieces... everything was cold as it had been in the car for over 40 mins. driver had damaged the bag and curry had leaked everywhere. very unhappy and still made to pay for half of it!!!

this Indian restaurant is so much better than the rest. The restaurant itself is clean. The atmosphere is always nice and relaxing I have been using this Indian restaurant for many years and never had a bad Indian meal my family also likes chicken and chips

The food tasted nice but it was all getting cold despite turning up early. Cold chicken Pukura isn’t particularly nice. So we spent 20 mins warming it all back up and it’s never the same doing that it’s a shame as the food was lovely in taste we order from here regularly and this is the first it’s turned up and not piping hot.

Cartons slightly crushed resulted in slight spillage in bag. Taste was a bit bland with a bit more oil than was really needed. With a bit more care - room for improvement.

Unfortunately we didn't find any flavour in the food. Perhaps we would try again in the future

Tasty curries arrived quickly and piping hot. Only downside was the poppadoms which tasted as though they were cooked in stale oil, not very pleasant. The rest of the meal more than made up for it though, flavoursome, generous quantity of meat and no oil floating on top - always a lkus

Fabulous curry from eastern Balti as always.food quality top notch.had tikka starter for a change wow that was so delicious and full chicken breast seasoned perfectly.madras curry was absolutely heavenly so delicious my mouth waters just thinking about it. I highly recommend buying your meal from here. Delivery very cheap and exceptionally quick.

40 mins late because it was delivered to wrong address, I had to chase not a call from the retiring and when they did deliver they gave me a 20% off voucher just gone to use it and it’s expired

Salad missing from starter and no chicken in chicken omelette. Did replace chips with saag aloo so happy with that.

The food that turned up was not what I ordered, when calling the restaurant to discuss they tried to place the burden of resolving the issue on me as they couldn't contact their delivery driver and wanted me to do it for them. Was unwilling to attempt a resolution and got angry when told that if they couldn't correct their mistake I would file for a refund. Resulted in being hung up on. Overall not a good experience

Ordered online and after w long wait called the restaurant to find out where the food was only to be told that they had tried to deliver but no one answered the door, despite thr fact I eas sat in the room next to the door the whole time.... Very frustrating as my address isn't difficult to find so unsure as to why they didn't deliver.

As usual from this restaurant I have had yet another delicious meal. The onion bahjees are perfectly cooked and tasty.The chicken madras with large pieces of chicken breast cooked perfectly in a lovely madras sauce.mushroom rice was perfect.the whole meal was Fabulous .I highly recommend you get a meal from here you will not be disappointed. Food always arrives on time and hot too. Ps popodoms crispy and a perfect accompaniment. .

Food was 40 minutes late and main component of dish which was the reason I ordered it was king prawns and missing, called and basically dismissed. Given a coupon but whole reason I ordered dish was for the king prawns, extremely disappointing and chef was extremely rude trying to justify why he’d forgotten it and started arguing with me. Unacceptable behaviour when you’ve just spent £25 for dinner and didn’t deserve being talked down to just cos the chef ‘forgot’ to add one of the main elements
