Burnt poppadoms, really bad service and the chilli garlic chicken and the jalfrazi were not of a good standard, we love curry but this place is to be avoided

My wife and I have been visiting this restaurant several times over the past 18 months and generally have been very impressed with the quality of food. However on our most recent (and final) visit their policy appears to now be to automatically add a 10% service charge to ALL bills regardless of party size. This is a sure fire way to antagonise your customers as it puts them in the awkward position of having to ask them to remove it. May I remind you that we are NOT in America. Indian restaurants in the UK traditionally don't try to enforce a tip. Ruined the experience. Will not be returning again.

I've been coming to East to West for a number of years with my friends.. The food is always spot on and amazing! Everything is fresh and the meat is always nice and tender.. The staff are always lovely and welcoming too, definatley a place too try if your passing by or live in the area :)

This is our local. The food has always been good but we've accepted the service and waiting time is never great. We went for a meal tonight, we booked in advance but there was no recollection of our booking upon arrival. After a 50 minute wait for our starters, they brought out our mains. We advised we hadn't received our starters and they advised we had never ordered them! We were so hungry and tired we just accepted the mains. One of my party ordered salmon but was served dry, white fish, when this was questioned, they proceeded to bring out a frozen bag of farm food salmon in order to prove they stocked salmon and advised the fish was white due to the spices? 2 times our drink orders we're forgotten. The food as a whole is great but the service was such a let down. The lady serving us was lovely and apologized profusely, but the other staff were hostile and in denial for the most part. As someone with a background in hospitality, this was utterly unacceptable.

What a lovely meal! Popadoms and dips (love the red sauce!). Fab curry! Younger son loved his chicken nuggets. And Family Naan a huge hit with all of us! Service quite leisurely, but new staff on. Definitely recommend!

A group of us have chosen this for our regular curry night get together. The food is unpretentious, but every dish tastes different, it is always individually made, carefully prepared and served. It's on there A6 in Disley, Cheshire, based in what used to be a Little Chef so from the outside it doesn't look much like an Indian restaurant, but don't be put off by this. Friendly staff, reasonably quick service (given that they make each dish separately) and moderate prices. Easy parking on site.

Used to be really good, however I’ve just 3 hours for a takeaway to be to told it’s not coming within the hour. I’ve had to order elsewhere and still waiting on a £52 refund. Oh, and it took 28(!) calls to get an answer..

The food was good, but sadly that’s where it ends. The service was the worst I have ever known. Not only very slow, but we were expected to write our own orders down and sort out the six foot long bill, even though we asked for the orders to be taken by table and billed accordingly. First drinks served after 45 minutes and that was after asking could we please order some drinks.

We ordered a delivery and yet again the service was terrible we were told 1 hour delivery time after 2 hours we called the restaurant, to be told it would be at least another 30 minutes minimum. !!!! The girl who answered the phone was VERY VERY rude and ignorant !!! Her phone manners were disrespectful and disgusting I will never use this restaurant again the worst service I have ever experienced from a restaurant EVER. !!!!

Pains me to write this as the food and service in the restaurant has been great, however the last 3 takeaways we’ve had have been late, (longest being 2.5 hrs) and Luke warm. We were offered 10% off our next order which they honoured and yet again food arrived late and Luke warm. The main issue though and the catalyst for this review is every takeaway we’ve had the delivery guy has asked us for extra money on top of what we’ve already paid when ordering…. This is NOT acceptable. They charge £1.99 delivery fee which is fine but to ask for a further £4 when we are in your delivery area and provided our address when ordering is not on! The food (after we reheated) was nice which is bitter sweet in relation to this review, but fair. However delivering late then asking for more money upon delivery is not right.

Place was empty on a Monday night but it was my birthday so wanted to eat out. We’ve had a takeaway from here before which was really good so decided to try it again. It did not disappoint, the food is delicious, we ordered from the set menu and every course was so tasty, We couldn’t fault any of it. Definitely recommend and will definitely be back. Best meal out I’ve had in a very long time.

Amazing food and it’s a great atmosphere. Staff very pleasant and were very helpful and able to cope with my allergies can’t wait to go again.

Called here on our second visit to the restaurant, coming back from the airport…. Plentiful portions, food absolutely cooked to perfection fluffy Nan bread, curry’s one of the best if not the best I’ve tried…. Staff welcoming and friendly

Best Indian restaurant/takeaway in the area! Service is fantastic, food is unreal, fresh, hot , not greasy or heavy at all! Starters are as good as mains! We won’t go anywhere else for a curry now!
