I love it here. I would recommend the bangers & mash and pint of Guinness here.

Its a lovely environment with fires 🔥 on and decor. Service was good, food was good. Only tea availble for a hot drink and no vegan puddings. New owners apparently and unless you look on the correct website you'll get wrong information. However we were allowed to go to the shop next door and bring in coffee and vegan cakes bought from another shop.

Good selection on tap, varied food menu, friendly service. A local hotspot.

The carrot and the other veggies were nice. Agree with the review of Mariia from 6 months ago, very overcooked, sad Yorkshire pudding. Another member of our party found the barman rude. I think for just getting a drink and visiting it's probably fine.

Nice pint served by friendly staff. But they wouldn't serve me a sausage roll which is on the menu. Sad as I would have bought more than one.😭

The EDT is a local favourite. Old boozer charm with modern gastro pub vibes. I have never had a bad time in there ✌️🥳 Is my go to, in East Dulwich.

Great place to watch the footie and Maria serves a delicious Guinness 😋 You need to fix the soap dispenser in the women’s toilets though !

Had a pint of Landlord Cask ale. Easily the best cask pint I've had in London in the past 10 years, well kept and fresh. Food good too, good team a real low key gem and must visit, all told excellent work guys

Friendly, welcoming, 7 ale taps, TVs, pub quiz. I never eat in pubs cos the prices are always too steep, but they aren't here, and the food was well-presented and delicious. Great pub.

Rude bar man. We were served the wrong drink, and when we returned it, he couldn’t believe that it was wrong. Then he blamed us for not speaking up while he was pouring it.

I had the roast which was great - this seems an odd thing to say but I had the best carrot I’ve ever had! It was delicious! Service was okay but there seems an inconsistent approach to opening a tab when having food.

Quiet place. We visited on Sunday morning and walked into the cafe.. no staff on hand.. (I guess we arrived bang on opening time).. Great quality cakes, coffee and snacks though!!!

Best pub on Lordship Lane in East Dulwich. Very good range of guest ales. Sitting areas outside on the street in the sun.

Excellent food especially the veggie sausage and mash. Pork one was great as well. Super service from Gary!

There is no garden but the music is good. The acoustics is not greater but high ceilings. I haven’t tried any food, just a late drink. Music is audible and good at times. People of all sorts.

Probably the best pub in East Dulwich. Decent selection of cask ale and draft beers/ciders. Wine selection is above average for a pub. It's quite spacious a nd they usually have sport on a big screen in the back room. Food looks ok. Gets quite busy after Dulwich Hamlet games. There is a lot of outside seating and they open up the folding walls in the summer.

Really poor service. I came in for a drink and was served by a man who didn't even bother to look at me. He poured my drink and slammed it down on the bar. I had to get some serviettes to clean the mess up he made. After sitting down with my drink he came over to some people sat opposite and just said...you didn't pay for your food. The man had paid and it was an error on the bar mans part. He didn't even apologise for his error. The bar man has zero customer service skills and was rude. People waiting to be serves and he's just wandering about calling people Bro. No idea how this man has a job there. Just to be clear the lady and other man behind the bar were really nice and friendly.

Great burgers, nice staff, nice atmosphere. Wish there were a few more options for sides.

Our waitress was amazing! She came back to check on us and was extremely friendly. Suprised my friend by making his desert a birthday desert. Bar staff went out of the way to create a great atmosphere by providing candles for my impromptu celebration 🍾 ✨️ Thank you 😊 A lovely cozy and even romantic pub. Will visit again.

I stumbled upon the East Dulwich Tavern recently, and it's become my go-to spot in the neighborhood. The atmosphere is so inviting, especially with the option to cozy up by one of their fireplaces during winter. The pub food is a real treat – love the modern British twist and the fact that they use fresh, seasonal ingredients. Don't even get me started on their Sunday roasts; they're a game-changer. The Lodge upstairs is a hidden gem for private events, and the whole place just feels like a warm, local hangout. Highly recommend for a laid-back, enjoyable time in East Dulwich.

The kitchen here has always been excellent. This time it wasn't.

We stumbled upon this pub on a rainy day, really liked the decor and ambience. Staff was friendly.

First time in here ( after driving past it many times over the years!). Nice pub and the food looks good but the beer was a little uninspiring and flat. Rosie's Cloudy Tropical cider was nice though!👍🙂

Such pleasant bar staff. Really enjoyed "an oul pint" of ale here with a couple of pals on a Saturday afternoon having taken in the local charity shops. The food looked great 😃. Pets allowed. Eclectic mix of decor and really a nice atmosphere.

I often meet local friends in this bar. It follows the gastropub formula, Sunday roasts, wood floor, lots of craft beers, but does it well. Handily positioned right at the top of Lordship Lane. On a sunny Friday afternoon the crowd was mostly builders and WFH types who'd knocked off early. The service was fast, prices are what you'd expect, so a couple of pints and we moved on.

The only one comment that they were working very hard, would be nice if they would have some help.but I understand times are tough, but little help at busy times could probably speed up the sale. But that's more like advice rather than a critic.

Great assortment of draft and keg pints. Stay away from the wings because they're addictive!

The area here is very well catered for with a great selection of nice pubs with out-door seating. This is one of them. A great place to meet with friends, or just tonsit with a book and sip a pint. Lovely staff, great drinks, and good food for those who want some.

A good local boozer with lots of seating both inside and out, screens for watching sport (but thankfully they don't dominate), and good beer. A pint of Volden on cask for just £3.50 when I visited in May 2023 - unbeatable!

On a Thursday night it was the only one in East Dulwich where I could eat at 9.30. The burger was really good. Also I had a good Prosecco. The guy and the girl at bar are really nice too.

I normally pop in here for a couple when visiting relatives. I like the eclectic feel of this place and the bar staff are friendly but I think it was a bit dirty this last time, especially the floor. Shabby doesn't disguise dirt for me. I also do not understand why the outside tables are so popular. You can't hear yourself think and get covered with fumes from the roundabout. But it does seem lots of people like it, so maybe just me!!

Average Sunday roast. The pink part of the beef was good, but also, there were no edibles/chewable cuts. Yorkshire pudding was the biggest disappointment. How could you overcook it so badly and serve it? Good beer selection. The tables could’ve been cleaned more regularly.

It’s had its day. Average boozer.

Popped in for a late lunch with a friend after scanning the menu online, which stated you could swap burger buns for a gluten free bun. However, when looking at the paper menu inside the pub, this wasn't mentioned and the menu was incredibly limited compared to what's on the website. I checked with one of the staff to see if GF buns were available, they said no but could check for bread, which they didn't have. So I ended up with a bunless burger which I still had to pay full price for. Disappointing as it was one of very few options offering gluten free in the area, which is something people with gluten intolerance or celiac usually check beforehand to avoid things like this happening. Would suggest they remove the information from their online menu if it's not accurate.

USE TO be such a good pub & I always use to come here but the past few months it’s just gotten worse and worse. Service is awful to get a pint, the staff never clean up the glasses or tables. They use to have a great menu and recently changed it and it’s been the last straw. My mate ordered 3 fries & 2 sausage rolls for a group of us and then only 2 fries showed up. So we went and asked where the rest was and the staff just said, we don’t have sausage rolls so I didn’t charge you. But that was after 30 minutes of waiting for the order. Would recommend finding a new spot for Dulwich residents.

Came here to get some Uni work done. Such a great place. Have been before with some mates for a quiz night, even came second and won a bottle of wine! Super friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Also great food.

Popped in for a quick drink and felt a very welcoming public house. The food looked pretty amazing, too !

Very pleasant experience here. I only went for 1, meeting a mate but the decor and shape are conducive to a homely, sociable pub. Bigger than you think too. Would like to come back on a busy Friday and Saturday, I imagine the vibe would be excellent and I could score it a five.

Decent pub in a good locations. Prices are reasonable for the area and the bar staff serve your drinks fast even in the busier periods. Was not impressed with the below average food but plenty of other places to eat along the high street.

Very limited food menu but good drinks range. Friendly bar service but staff lacking in coffee training when we visited. Chips were over-salted and that possibly killed my taste buds for the burger. Overall OK - not great though. Was fairly busy on a Saturday afternoon and had a good atmosphere.

We booked a table for this pub and unfortunately when we arrived there was a mix up with our reservation and there was no table reserved for us to sit at. Whilst the manager was unhelpful, Ethan was friendly and quite quickly resolved the matter and sorted us a table. #payriseforethan
