Luke warm food, music veryy loud. Slow service - only 2 tables in the returant side. Staff with hair down while serving foods, check back shouted across. Not offered desserts. Staff to busy filling sauce bottles than to check on tables

Great Spot on the river, really friendly staff. Good was great. We went for the rugby and they made sure we had a good view of the screen.

Looking for lunch, the Founder's Arm is a great spot along the Thames embankment between the Tate Modern and Blackfriars Bridge. We both order the Fish & Chips. The fish was a battered haddock with a nice crunch to it. The chips were triple fried and great with the tartar sauce, lemon and peas as accompaniments. A Pint of Guinness help wash it down. Service was friendly and quick. Overall, a nice place for lunch. I recommend it.

Despite awful weather this was a wonderful riverside venue. The service was excellent in all respects. The sharing Ploughman’s was extremely generous, easily feeding 3 people, items were freshly produced and very well presented. Delicious. Thoroughly recommend and would certainly visit again if on Southbank again.

Handy location on the Southbank by Blackfriars Station, almost directly opposite St Paul's. Friendly staff who were happy to accommodate us when we arrived half an hour early. Shared a generous houmous platter - we got some free extra flatbread as we'd said we were hungry! Not rushed at all, which was quite refreshing compared to some city venues.

We were a family group of 10 people comprising of 8 adults and 2 children. A table had been reserved with plenty of space and wonderful views across the river to St Paul's Cathedral. The food was wholesome and tasty with vegetarian options and nice children's menu. We had a brilliant waiter - Tadeusz (better known as Tadek) who looked after us incredibly well. Although the pub was busy, we were served promptly and found the ambience to be most pleasant. It was a memorable lunch time event which was very enjoyable and also good value. We would definitely return in the near future.

It was a lovely way to spend New Years Eve. Although we had to wait a little for the table due to the mayhem of New Years Eve bridge closures and people who had arrived late- the staff were very friendly and efficient at keeping us up to date with where we were up to. The atmosphere was very relaxed, even though it was busy. The view was amazing and we had a really enjoyable evening.

We had our Christmas Day meal at the Founders Arms and it was lovely! We've eaten out in pubs on Christmas Day before, and were slightly nervous, as our experience hasn't always been great. This time, everything was great- the food, the service and the view! The staff were, understandably, rushed off their feet as it was Christmas and the pub was packed, but they managed to stay courteous and friendly and we didn't have to wait for our drinks for long. The arrival of the different food courses was perfect, allowing us to have a chat as a family in between, but it never felt like we'd been forgotten about. Also, the food definitely tasted and looked freshly made. We were also lucky enough to be seated in the more quiet diners part of the pub and had a beautiful view of the river. We were so pleased we had chosen this pub after having contemplated some other options near our hotel. Thank you to all the staff at the Founders Arms!

Ci siamo stati a pranzo con amici mentre eravamo in vacanza a Londra, ottimo Fish and Cips, vista spettacolare. Ci ha servito Duke che si è offerto anche di scattarci una foto tutti insieme. Servizio abbastanza buono, abbiamo chiesto l' acqua un paio di volte ma alla fine è arrivata 🙂

Steps away from the Tate Modern!! The trout dish was amazing. Our wait staff, Duke, was attentive and polite.

First day in London and our very first meal at this amazing place! The views combined with beautiful food and stunning views of St. Paul's and the city is to die for. Duke was here to make our experience even greater willing to take us through the menu and propose the perfect pint!

I used to visit this pub with my late wife so, admittedly, there are sentimental reasons. Came in today with my son, his wife, and their two year old son. The mushroom gnocchi was delicious and I enjoyed my fish and chips along with a pint of The Winter Warmer. Nice atmosphere, music was a bit loud but not overly intrusive. Had a nice view by the window overlooking the Thames.

Had a great time with Duke serving us. Service and atmosphere was amazing. The only downside was the “burrata” with squash that should really be named “Squash” with burrata underneath.

We rented out part of the venue for our company's Christmas party and it was the best decision we could have made. Everyone was very content with the amount of food and drinks we served (especially the big portions), the variety of food really helped and the food came in a timely manner and stayed warm for some time. Everything was also very perfectly organised before arrival, there was a specific person assigned for us making sure everything went well with the drinks, food, etc. They were extremely organised before and after, due to the excellent service , my company had a fantastic time! Would 100% recommend if wanting to book for an event or just going to have a good time.

We recently held our Christmas party at the FoundersArms, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. Our group of around 35 people was warmly welcomed, and the atmosphere was perfect for a festive gathering. The staff went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly, and a special mention must go to our server, Melsi. He was incredibly helpful, attentive, and accommodating, ensuring everyone in our group felt well taken care of. The food and drinks were excellent, and the overall service was outstanding. It’s not easy to manage such a large group, but the team here did so effortlessly. Thank you for making our Christmas party so enjoyable! We would definitely recommend this venue for any group event or celebration.
