AVOID AVOID AVOID. This is an absolute scam. Myself and my friends paid £40 for our tickets, rocked up only to see the shutters down along with an eviction notice attached to the front door. If you buy a ticket and turn up you won’t be enjoying brunch, it literally doesn’t even exist.

Booked bottomless cocktails for a friends birthday, £90 was taken from my friends account for this booking and when we turned up for it Duo was closed. They do not answer the phone if you call, nor have they responded to any emails or social media messages. The same thing has happened to others as people have commented on Duo’s recent instagram post about their experiences. Luckily my friends bank refunded us when she raised a dispute but that doesn’t account for the money wasted on travel to the venue so we are still out of pocket. If they are temporarily closed then they need to stop accepting bookings and posting on social media as though they are still open, it is misleading and unfair.

Disappointing, mis sold and shockingly bad experience!! 7 of us had booked in for the Supper Brunch on Saturday. Paid £60.00 each as advertised for a 2 course meal, 90 minutes of multiple bottomless cocktails/wine/beer and live entertainment/club entry after. We received an email a few days before stating the brunch had been moved to sister venue Huckster in Paddington, due to a major leak. On the email we were promised the exact same brunch as if it was to be at Duo Camden. To start things off regarding the change of location - what if this was not feasible for your customers? There was no offer of a full refund if this was not suitable? Firstly, when we arrived to Huckster we were informed the brunch would instead be 3 hours of the same cocktail, Porn Star Martini, and that the venue could not accommodate our usual brunch. This is not what was advertised and what we had paid for. After complaining to the staff and asking for a refund or alternative, all we got in response was “we can’t do anything, you need to take it up with Duo via email. We’re doing them a favour”. Terrible TERRIBLE customer service. I can also confirm the Pornstar Martini’s were practically jugs of juice, containing literally no alcohol. Secondly, we were seated directly under a speaker which was deafeningly loud, even the waiters couldn’t hear us speak. Our table was also extremely close to the pool table, where I take it random people were coming into the venue to play. Our friends were bashed over the head multiple times by these people playing pool. Despite asking to move, we were told by staff they yet again, “could not accommodate our request”.they didn’t even move the pool table. Seemed like everyone booked for the brunch was slotted amongst the other Huckster customers walking in. Thirdly, there was ZERO live entertainment. From having other friends attend the Duo brunch, we heard this was one of the best parts and it’s stated as included in the ticket. There was no communication of no entertainment from staff, and so there was literally no form of an atmosphere bar booming music above our heads and being boxed in by a pool table. Fourth, a member of our party is Vegan. A chicken burger was brought to the table which we had to send back, as it seems his dietary requirements were not translated to Huckster. They then brought over the Vegan burger, which contained Mayonnaise. Yet again, we sent this back. Finally, when the correct burger was brought over, WE had to confirm the sauce and sides were all vegan and contained no by products. This should have been clarified by the waiters. I cannot stress enough how insulting this is and how belittling to your customers. This also meant that my friend did not receive his food until 8:15pm, almost 30 mins after we had all received our mains. Separately, another disappointing part of the meal, the majority of us had ordered Buttermilk Chicken burgers as mains. It seems minuscule in comparison to the above but it’s another thing that added to the whole show. When the “buttermilk” chicken burgers arrived, we were informed the only available option was the chicken thigh sliders make-shifted into burgers. Literally chicken thighs placed into a brioche bun. This was again NOT WHAT WE PAID FOR? The fact we were not informed of this until the food physically arrived is honestly another disappointment. I cannot believe the lack of effort for something central to the brunch. I heavily understand the reason for change of venue and that Huckster has a different set up to Duo. However, as we were informed of the change of location prior to the event, this gave Duo and Huckster more than enough time to ensure they were prepared for the same brunch as advertised and AS CONFIRMED in the email sent out to customers. We did take it upon ourselves to check the bottomless brunches available on the regular at Huckster, and there was a brunch including a 3 course meal for the same value/alcohol options. I mentioned this to the staff as an alternative when we were inside Huckster, but they yet again “could not accommodate our request”. Funny that as this is the usual Huckster brunch?? Had they run out of puddings as well as alcohol?? Overall this was an utterly disappointing experience lacking atmosphere, hospitality and any kind of regard for the customer. I cannot describe this better than a complete shamble on behalf of Duo Camden. It was insulting and to be honest an embarrassment for the staff at Huckster. They had absolutely no idea what was going on, it was chaos. We paid a lot of money expecting a pleasant service and it was most certainly not as advertised. If I could give this minus 5 stars I would. Daylight robbery do not bother!! Duo- I have sent an email to your team and I would appreciate a follow up response.

Me and a friend visited for a long awaited catch up. We had a lovely day with great drinks which really are impressive. Dj played all the tunes we loved. It’s a shame some members of staff are not friendly and definitely don’t know how to speak to customers. One man was sooo rude and abrupt like he was in a terrible mood and when taking our order spoke to us like complete crap... when we asked what’s wrong why is he so moody the manager (The man who said he was the manager) replied “everyones allowed to have a bad day” !!! Clearly Some ones made a really nice venue and Idea for drinks but couldn’t find the staff. Shame really as we was planning to return but wouldn’t now. I emailed this twice just in case someone wanted feedback but no reply. 👍

I had a booking for my neices 18th birthday, the day before my booking I recieved an email saying it had been moved to Camden due to refurbishment. So that was not the problem at all although it was short notice I was happy we could still have the booking, I spoke to ming he said he would give us free access to the club and 2 bottles of prosecco for the inconvenience. I arrived to see that my dinner party were Sat near the door on bar stools for dinner! I actually thought they was waiting for a table to be then told no this is our table. My cousin did inform the manager Mikhail (who I will say from the moment we arrived was so unhelpful and had a rude manner like he just was not interested) that she is not able to sit in these seats plus my sister who both are in their 50's and have back issues was told there is nothing they can do. We all started to noticed a lot of the guests that were seated were not even eating it really felt like because we had to be moved from Shoreditch they shoved us in a corner. Mikhail very reluctantly told my neice I guess we can give you a cake and shots, literally 5 minutes later they then put a birthday tune on brought the cake out and just plonked it on the table,  my neice was not even at the table at this moment and we had not even ordered our food yet so why would we have a birthday cake now?! We was not even prepared. We then made the best of what was already a shambles ordered our food and ate and was ready to go to the club, then the biggest shock was we was then told by one of your bar staff who was really lovely by the way (I cannot remember her name) that it was fully booked! Now the whole problem here is WE were the ones that got moved from Shoreditch to Camden due to refurbishment, now surely you would know about this in advance??? so why take our booking knowing u could not accommodate us appropriately. we was then to be told we cannot be accommodate at the club at all! We was all disgusted,  it was my neices 18th birthday which was beyond spoilt as the lack of communication was a joke! By the time we had finished dinner and paid it was gone 11pm it was now to late to find anywhere to go in Camden and if we had known we could not of been accomodated properly I would not of continued our booking here! Even when we asked mikhail if there is anything that can be done his response was so abrupt NO, sorry nothing can be done and he shrugged his shoulders we was all gobsmacked. He then asked who told us we can go to the club, I said ming he said he is going to speak to him, we waited and then he said ming could not accommodate us, I asked to speak to him myself and then he said he spoke to him on the phone and I cannot speak to him as its out of hours and he is at home. This was not just any night out I booked this a month in advance and was suppose to be my neices first experience of a night out to celebrate her 18th. To top it off I contacted this venue 6 weeks prior to plan my hen party, got a very minimal email and had to chase you guys on your email address (myself and my bridesmaid) to get a response imagine all now they still did not respond and answer my questions that we sent,  I took my booking elsewhere and I'm glad i did, as if u can't organise 11 people for my neices 18th how would you have organised my hen party for 25 people?! Very very disappointed and my neice was so upset as she never got the night out she hoped for and I was actually looking forward to experiencing your venue i have followed DUO on social media since it opened and am very deflated by our experience and will not be back at your venue but felt that this feedback needed to be passed on to the relevant person so this kind of shambles never gets repeated again. Imagine I sent this email twice and called this was many months ago...all now no response!

Visited this place recently as we had booked a table for one of our friends’ hendo dinner. I would NOT recommend any one especially from ethnic minority to go there. Firstly, the waiters had no manners and very disrespectful. We were not given the full menu as advertised. They did not have profound knowledge as one of the waiter answered us saying ‘I am just as confused as you are’. I could sense there was a huge miscommunication between the Manager, supervisor and staffs. After we paid the bill, we realised that they have overcharged us. When we wanted to speak to the staffs regarding it, they were not helpful. The manager refused to talk to us right up to the end and the staffs kept telling us they won’t give our money back cos it will affect their wage. The worst thing was when the female staff accused us of stealing their tea light candle but a staff member clarified to her that it was him who took it to clear the table. Me and my friends are extremely DISSAPPOINTED as this is our first time being racially profiled in a restaurant. Overall, I think the staffs of this bar and restaurant are incredibly rude and the service they provide is awful. So who ever is taking time to read my review please think twice before you book/visit this place.

Been to Duo London in Camden and I must say its absolutely amazing. The decoration,the drinks are so nice. Also the staff is so lovely and always looking after me and my friends. I recommend this place to everybody. I will be back for sure. Its officialy my favourite place to go in London. X

I came with my friends for a night out. The waitresses were very attentive and the drinks were very nice. We really recommend the cocktail tree.

It was a 21st birthday celebration for my daughter and we had pre booked a table for 4 people. the table service, waitresses, DJ, cocktails and food was lovely and the whole ambience was amazing. The reason for a poor review is because we were asked if we wanted to go down to the club free of charge, which my daughter was up for, so we joined a queue and when we got to the front my daughter and her boyfriend were asked if they had ID, which they had and then they asked myself and my husband, who are 47 and 50 years old. We had no id as this was not explained anfd i am sure this is not a rule by law. We were then refused entry by an extremely arrogant and rude member of the security staff, which totally ruined the whole birthday experience. I really feel we treated unfairly and because of this would be very ublikly to return.

Good food and drinks , friendly atmosphere and wicked vibes in the downstairs club, definitely recommend it for a all in one experience eat and party in the same place ! See ya next time

food is more for the look rather than the taste. the chocolate truffles were good! the drinks that were included in with our bottomless brunch were way too sweet. atmosphere was nice and a cute place for a pre drink cocktail.

Absolute let down. Especially for a birthday booking. Around 80% of the food menu was not available. No pre-call to explain that majority of the food would not be available on the day. No desserts available, no vegan options or gluten free options as originally advertised. A deputy manager explained that she had asked the general manager to call guests to explain the menu was going to be changing and limited and that they should really tell the prebooked guests in advance however she apparently was advised not to do that and was shut down. The very limited menu that was there tasted so processed and not fresh. I was told I couldn’t bring a birthday cake to the venue as they don’t allow outside food in however another party had a huge tiered cake bought from outside. Cocktails are pretty and nice to take pics with. Venue has nice areas to take pics in however that’s where the fun stops. Nightclub ceiling is quite low as in basement. So if you are pretty tall like over 6ft 2+ you may hit your head in places. I wouldn’t go back or recommend.

Drinks: The cocktails were really disappointing. Some tasted of pure cream and one tasted exactly like blackcurrant squash. They are extremely overpriced for what you get. The servers make an effort to see if you like your drink but won’t do anything if you aren’t...

We went to shoreditch for brunch and the service was amazing there was always someone walking around with Prosecco who would try to help with anything the place it’s self is also just a fun place to be.
