Great little coffee shop with so many goodies to try. Lovely lady served us and chatted about the bakery. She made a couple of new friends who were more than happy to sample the sausages.

Class bakery with best value food in Skye. A large selection of cakes, pies, coffee and drinks. I will 100% go evertime I'm in skye. We stayed at the camp site nearby and we bourght all our supplies from Dunvegan Bakery. The couple who run the place are really friendly too and gave us some priceless advice about the local area. A fusion of cakey goodness and tour guide wrapped up in a cheesy bacon turnover wolfed down with a Coke and Americano with oat milk. Keep the good work up Dunvegan Bakery. Certa Cito!

This is advertised as "Slyes Oldest Bakery". It should say, "SCOTLAND'S BEST BAKERY". We absolutely LOVED the bread and bakery. It may actually be the best in the world! My sisters and neice were traveling thru and stumbled on this gem. The proprietor was delightful. Even though she was crazy busy, she still had a smile and chat with everyone.

Thank you absolutely brilliant. Staying at nearby campsite I went in one day and got a perfectly baked corn bread loaf. The woman who served me was just so cheerful it made my day. We went back another day for some more but sold out. She said that she had one aside for a customer but would leave it hanging outside if it wasn't collected by closing and didn't want me to leave any payment. Went back later and there was the bread hanging up outside. What a fantastic person and bakery you lucky people of Dunvegan.

Oh my gosh- anyone who doesn’t visit this bakery is seriously missing out. Went to look for it on a wild wet windy day, dashed in and oh my, confronted by lots of tempting treats. We chose a slice of chocolate cake and a slice of carrot cake- absolute bargain at £3. We only made it to the top of the road before I told my hubby to turn the car around and go back to get a fresh baked loaf oh and two sausage rolls! The loaf was huge, the sausage rolls sizeable As I write this review the bread has done us for lunch with soup while the other half we’ll use tomorrow for sandwiches, we’ve devoured the chocolate cake which was deeeeelish! The carrot cake is tomorrows treat and I can’t wait! Seriously anyone reading this, DO NOT MISS VISITING this lovely quaint bakery and buying up some treats. Oh and they do food too and have a little café Easily the best place we’ve been for treats during our stay near Portree

Our small family visited this fabulous little bakery a good few times over our week stay near Dunvegan (even popping in at opening time on the way home for a loaf and some cakes). Cakes... oh my goodness gracious I don't think I've ever had a slice of chocolate cake so moist and rich, worthy of Bruce Bogtrotter! Coconut cake's divine and the iced shortbread my son enjoyed thoroughly. The sausage rolls! I'm slightly shamed to say they are better than my mothers homemade ones! Go in at opening time and the smell will excite your salivary glands to the point of actual drooling. The ladies at very pleasant and welcoming, stopping to chat and make you feel at home. It may be Skyes oldest bakery, but I'd bet my bottom dollar it's Skyes best.

We have high standards and neither the service, surroundings or food have ever been anything less than superb. The rude gentleman who has given a poor, inaccurate review was impact a bully who was aggressive towards me, shouting at me for talking to friends, shaking with rage and had to be asked to leave but the owner who looks after her customers well... I was quite shaken and at a loss for words, being berated infront of my husband and children for daring to speak. despite his concerns about the quality of every aspect of the bakery, the Man in question I nfact polished off his food with gusto! Good food. Always quick to resolve any issues in my experience and open to substitutions/changes to menu items upon request where it's possible. Nice welcoming atmosphere. Maybe a little on the expensive side.

Food and service were good. The ambience has absolutely nothing to do with a restaurant. It was freezing cold and the radiator running didn't make much difference other than noise. You should dress warmly.

Stayed for one night, as a couple, on 31/12/24. Checked in and was advised there was to be a Hogmanay party at the hotel that night. This was the first time we'd been informed. We went out for a meal and onto our own function in Nairn. We returned at 2am and the party still seemed to be ongoing. Around 3am pandemonium broke out with screaming shouting, banging doors, people running around outside our room and in the room above us, similar with furniture scraping across the floor constant running and slamming doors. We knew it was Hogmanay but this was out of hand. On repeatedly phoning reception and sending messages there was no response. By 345am it was getting worse and again no response was had to repeated calls. We eventually managed some form of sleep by about 530am. On check out a waitress asked if we wanted breakfast and we said we were too tired and going home and wanted to make a complaint. She said she'd let the manager know. No manager came, no response has been had to numerous calls and messages on landlines and mobile and they are clearly avoiding acceptance of any responsibility. Regardless of any specific event or night it may have been, the experience was awful to endure and the non response by the property speaks volumes of how much they care about their guests.....still trying to get a response from them 8 days later, not holding my breath!!!

The chicken was great, tinder and flavorful, but it would have been better if the fries hadn’t been burned. The vibe was quite dark and thrilling. The tables were sticky. I was the only customer at that time!.
