Amazing service from the young lady we were served by however whoever worked in the kitchen didn’t support her at all- she had been there two weeks and was left on her own. The guy who was in the kitchen kept shouting at this young lady and made all customers feel extremely uncomfortable.

Came here for breakfast before going to Bletchley park. The quality of the food is okay but it is cheap so you get what you pay for.

went with my husband and 2 year old great-granddaughter for a drink and something to eat, and quite frankly wish we hadn't.firstly our 2 year old wanted to go to the toilet and when we asked was told they didn't have one and the nearest was the bus station.i have never visited a place selling food and drink and have no facilities like that....how on earth do people manage with kids.next I ordered a piece of lemon drizzle; cake to go with my tea and it really was the worst piece of cake I have ever had.it was so dry it was stale ,tasteless even our 2 year old who a cakeaholic wouldn't eat it and it was nearly £2.the sausage roll was so fatty that wasn't a pleasure to eat............an awful experience

My friend and I were looking for a place for a quick lunch. We were on a shopping day. I had been there before and recommended it to my friend as the food was ok and there was an available toilet. When we ordered our food, we enquired about the toilet and was told. “ sorry, we no longer have this facility”. Our food was actually very nice, although when asked for mayonnaise to go with our salad, we were told “ it already has mayonnaise on it”. We were then given, with no comment whatsoever, just one small sachet. !!!! Although the food was nice, the service was terrible. The 2 girls serving didn’t seem to care about any of it. We shall not eat here again.

While out on a coffee run for work today, I went into Starbucks where I am immediately made to feel uncomfortable by who I can only assume is the manager shouting at a poor employee trying his hardest, the poor guy with a neck tattoo had made a simple mistake during a busy lunch rush and the manager stormed out of the back and began belittling and yelling at the employee for his mistake. The guy had tears in his eyes and was visibly shaking at the shock of his manager treating him this way in front of us all. This place needs a new manager because the rest of the staff just acted like this was normal procedure to be abused by management, I myself work in HR and if I had my way this lady would be fired. She also looked incredibly unpresentable herself. Utterly disgusted to say the least and I will not be returning!

Stopped off here for a coffee. A young woman making the coffee clearly wasn’t happy to be at work! I received my coffee which was only half full. Given how expensive Starbucks is, I asked her to put more milk in it. She took the cup off me and topped it up without speaking a single word to me. No apology… poor customer service. Coffee was good though!

When Debenhams changed the style of it's cafe offering, they seemed to have really taken it up market. Standards, particularly those of the staff, had rocketed and although I reckon a lot of folks wouldn't have liked the improvements (old habits die hard), I and many others did.Unfortunately the honeymoon period has clearly passed and this visit was less that satisfactory.Tables littered when we arrived, checkout system slow and food no longer quite as classy as it previously has been.Ordering soup and a jacket potato, we took our seats and waited on it's arrival. After about 10 minutes, the buzzer flashed (they use an electronic table ID system) and we waited expectently for the food to arrive. Nothing! Thinking that perhaps they had changed the system and we should go back to collect it, I headed to the till point. Could see both items sitting under the heat lights but was advised that it would be brought over.Returning, we seemed to wait for ages before the Baked Potato arrived. Putting it down, the waitress advised me that my wife's soup would be following. I was about halfway through my meal as she passed us with two more baked potatoes for another table. Almost finished my meal, the soup finally arrived - along with appologies for the delay. The baked potato was packed with filling but frankly, was mildly warm rather than hot whereas my wife did say her soup was very hot (maybe it was thanks to the time under the heat lights). The salad accompanying it was poor and really only represented compliance with a menu description, certainly not adding to the value of the meal.A real disappointment which left me feeling that Debenhams have allowed their cafe to begin to sink to the depths of the old one which would be a real shame.
