Dukes Head in Fenland

Decided to have lunch at one of the local places we've never been. You wouldn't think much of it as building looks dated, however, we were astonished by the quality of food we had! And the service was so warm and cosy! Plus, they had 10%! Had very good time, would definitely say, food is one of the best in UK!

Great food and staff, chicken fillet with sweet potato chips and sides was the star, perfectly cooked

Had a lovely meal with the Family today at lunchtime in Dukes Steakhouse, all food cooked to perfection would recommend popping in when your in Wisbech for great food and friendly staff x Compliments to the Chef x

I had a meal delivered yesterday & it was brilliant. Husband had rump steak & I had the Jersey chicken & they were both excellent. Large portions, don't order starter you won't need it, just warmed ours up & had tonight! Will definitely order from here again & will go in to have a meal when we can!

Well presented, good food, affordable prices friendly staff. Evening and weekend entertainment is absolutely brilliant too. Retro music and karaoke every Friday and Saturday

Food was overpriced Iceland rubbish. Beer was disgusting. Toilets dirty an flooded. Apparently now he is AVOISdoing bed an breakfast. He is renting rooms to drug users and known burglars so go there at your peril. You have been warned. His credit card machine gave a receipt with a completely different business name on it. The owner comes across as very nice but is not to be trusted, very dodgy.

Went there today with my parents who are both pensioners and was looking forward to the homemade food. My dad had steak and ale pie with mash, he said the mash was ok but the pie was horrible, my mum had a burger, but she said Burger King was better and I had a roast vegetable risotto which turned out to be vegetables on plain boiled rice, I said to the lovely young girl who worked there it wasn't risotto it was just plain boiled rice with vegetables and she said she didn't know what risotto was ment to be like, turns out neither dose the chef. Wouldn't recommend it and not going back

This pub is opposite the church so is easy to find. It has a good selection of beers and spirits so you should find yourself a tipple. They do food but we only called in for a drink but the food being served looked very good and well presented. The only thing on our trip there was some lowlife had put a brick through the window which the landlord apologised for and said he had rang to get it fixed and they hadn't arrived yet. Lovely boozer and will definitely be calling in again on our next trip to Wisbech.

this is the best public house for wisbech, polite staff and good food. use to take my wife out once a month for a meal, which was brilliant, but it closed down approx 3 year ogo, the duke is now very clean, and quite, and good food. shall be taking her out again as i use to. as there is never any trouble. she dont like going in pubs. but she has met the new landlord, and feels safe. well done sydney and staff

Had lunch there today...absolutely delighted with both quality and friendly service...will be returning..probably too soon for the waist line!

Went in here recently and found new owners now running it, it now serves food and the food is a very high standard and quality although a little more expensive than is accustomed in Wisbech, the service is friendly and good, all in all I wish the new owners every success and look forward to my next meal there, I will be returning.

We had lunch here for the first time earlier in the week and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Whilst there we noticed that they do a Sunday lunch i must say again what a lovely meal and very nice atmosphere. Now we noticed that they do a senior citizens / OAP lunch and again we will try it. Well done Sidney keep up the good work.

Decided to try for lunch and have to say what a warm welcome, the food was fantastic I would encourage a vist to this new gem in Wisbech. Looking forward to trying there Sunday roast. Well done guys see you soon.

We had steaks and they were great. Service was brilliant too. Definitely will return. Good value for the money.

Looking for somewhere to eat whilst visiting Wisbech ... looked in the nearby Wetherspoon's but too crowded and noisy ... so we decided to try this old pub nearby . A warm and friendly welcome from Patricia and a lovely pint of Doombar ... decided to stay and eat and was recommended the Buffalo Burger by Patricia and indeed it was lovely ... hot and well cooked ... very attentive and friendly folks ... well done guys !

Enjoyed a very nice lunch today, excellent quality rather impressed, service was very good owner gave us his full attention, I do hope the local people go and try the food there. I think wisbech need a good restaurant In the town. Would like to go back and try a few different meals I had thai prawns in a delicious sauce with salad fabulous. Good luck in your new business

This hotel has again changed hands. I have been going here most weekends ever since the 1960's. It is usually a very relaxed atmosphere nice and quite.

Just when I was losing faith in the town, I came accross the Dukes, a real old fashion Pub with friendly staff and customers. Nice Ales

This pub used to be so great, it has now gone down hill, no customers, very dark inside, will never go back again

Genuine Olde Worlde Atmosphere with good range of Ales & nice Open Fire.
