I just had the one pint no food the fosters I drank was good a very well run pub from what I could see from my brief visit will definitely visit again

The beer tastes good, the live music is nice and the atmosphere is very nice.

Would like to say what a brilliant night and day myself and my wife had at our wedding reception at the Dukes head with owner Lee and landlady George going above and beyond to make our day go perfectly working with our caterers and wedding planners to make it such a special occasion . The bar staff worked endlessly serving nearly 200 people that have all said what a brilliant time they had at a traditional pub . All I can say that me and my new wife will never forget that our wedding day meant so much to so many people with the help of the Dukes head team ❤️

Great atmosphere, kind people. Broke down right in the way of the car park wasn’t met with any negativity. Came inside everyone said hello had a laugh with some of the other pub goers got to charge my phone. Everyone tried to help me and eventually the lovely lady running the bar actually managed to sort help out for me and got me on my way. Another concerned local even got me some snacks. Definitely recommend

Do not go to this pub, bar maid George makes up the prices of drinks. Every time I’ve gone to this pub she charges different amounts. Not to mention the dodge dealings that go on, lots of drug use. Been here before when I fight broke out I am a young girl who tried to seek refuge in the pub but was pushed out pushed out amongst the fighting men became very dangerous. Do not bring children here it is not a safe place to drink. And the barmaid George condones racist behaviour. Only good thing I can say is the food there is amazing great chef. This place has brought down the reputation of Dunton Green and I would strongly advise against going here if you do not want to be conned.

What a fantastic time we had today... family and friends had a few drinks together and a superb Sunday Roast dinner. A great atmosphere with a mixture of locals and new faces, fun and laughs had by all.... always made to feel welcome.

I really enjoyed a beautifully cooked roast beef dinner, with crispy Yorkshire pudding, nicely done vegetables, and tasty gravy. Booking recommended.

It's OK if you have kids,as they have a climbing frame in the garden

Standard local pub.i hadn't realised it was so old. It was good to see some of the history on the walls.

Great casual pub for locals, 2 large screens for sports, pool table and darts. Wine, lager & spirits as well as ale plus cocktails. Clean and tidy.

Visited this pub on Saturday 9th Oct lovely weather so sat outside. Not overly busy but people in and out. Polite staff and toilets so clean. Staff friendly. Would be good to get a sandwich lunch time. This pub is my late brothers

Went there last month with friends, it was dirty and everyone was doing drugs. When me and my friends asked if they served food we got the rudest response"we don't serve food to people like you and never have served food". The bar stuff were all drunk, ignorant and looked underage to be working behind a bar and they were also snorting coke and smoking.

Popped in for a test visit, greeted by friendly bar staff who turned out to be the new land lady, nice beer not over priced like most of the other pubs in Sevenoaks, not doing food at the moment but will be going back soon.

Despite having spent my formative years in this pub, I'd not visited in over ten years as it had gone downhill over this time. However, the new management are warm and friendly and engaging. Some of the previous clientele have gone elsewhere and this is now a very decent village boozer once more. I booked their garden area for a football team end of season drinks, on the same day England were playing Croatia in the Euro's. The orders of "25 pints of fosters" didn't faze them at all despite the requirement for table service due to COVID restrictions. We all had an absolutely fantastic time, staff were all great, and I think one of the footy boys walked away with one of the barmaid’s at the end of the night. What's no to love! Give it time and I’m sure this will become the place to visit for a drink as it once was yester-year. Just need to get the kitchen setup and working for proper food and this place will be a real success. Keep up the good work, can’t wait to visit again (we will be re-booking an area for an awards night very soon)…

Came to the dukes head and what an amazing place! The new landlady Taylor was brilliant! She was happy and making sure everyone had everything they needed! The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. Great choices of drinks. Lovely outside seating and free parking! Definitely recommend a visit!

What a lovely pub . I think the new landlady Taylor was very kind and friendly. Clean toilets. Plenty of hand sanitizer. Will definitely visit again. Can't find any faults with the friendly staff and lovely customers all happy to chat and make you feel welcome in their village local. Will definitely be back. 10/10

Friendly, comfortable and lovely pub. The manager was lovely and welcoming and service was really quick. We enjoyed playing pool at the back. Mask compliance is enforced and I felt safe to enjoy my evening.

New owners, and a cheery welcome. Great service, clean pub, lenty of places to sit inside and nicely laid out. Pool table is popular, and tv's not intrusive. Only one ale, but you can't have everything!

My husband and I enjoyed a really nice evening at The Dukes Head last night. The new management are a lovely couple and made us feel really welcome. Under new COVID rules the staff were professional about the procedures for visiting the pub. Definitely worth a visit!

A lovely pub which I have seen go through some ups and downs over the last 30+ years. The current staff are excellent and work hard to make people feel welcome. The regular clientele are of mixed age groups and, it is the sort of place where everybody chats to everybody. It can be a bit noisy and "lively" at times... especially when there is a big sporting event on the TV... but, generally the banter and atmosphere is friendly.

Great ambiance, great customer service, great drink selection

Not everyone can make great fish and chips, and when you eat here and realize you have been eating subpar, you know. The staff is nice, and the food well priced and excellent.

This place was like being in a drug den..... everyone was snorting coke in the bathroom, men’s and woman’s, and even when I asked to speak to the manager the locals pointed out one loud very drunk and ( and I think high) woman who was “in charge” And I was not going to even think about approaching her!I’m from London and I’ve seen some dodgy areas but wow....... the dukes head by far beats any dodgy Kent pub! Someone was burning coke and smoking it! Insane! I needed to shower in bleach when I got home...This place needs to be shut down!

Attending a wedding at a local overpriced soulless hotel we escaped and found this great pub to watch the rugby. Barman sorted out the big screen to watch the game. Great beer and a friendly atmosphere just as a pub should be. Landlady apologised for there being no food but they had stoped doing food, which was not a problem as we had come to drink

After visiting to watch a band on Sunday they were providing a bbq to go along side this It’s safe to say do NOT trust the food Since then I have had the worst stomach cramps and unable to leave the bathroom

Really nice food and staff are nice and friendly

A nice local pub with a couple of screens to watch sport on. There's also a nice darts board to keep you entertained at half time. It was quite busy when we went in to watch the match, but it gave some good atmosphere and there was a bit of banter between locals who were supporting different sides.

Had some really good food here recently , the mega breakfast was delicious and big , well worth a visit , not doing food on a Sunday yet

People were friendly and nice potato was to much pepper in it but otherwise food was good

My friends and I went to this pub and it was so homely and cosy and all the staff where so funny and professional! Had such an amazing night and rather have drinks there then go into London! Go in there with an open mind and a fun persona and that place will become your local ! Friking love it !! And the open fires !!! LOVE IT

Absolutely wonderful pub, lovely staff, with juke box and pool table. Will definitely be coming back. Has a great family pub garden and a completely separate smoking area. Have also joined their facebook page which shows upcoming band nights and sports events. Really welcoming place, would highly recommend!!

I cannot recommend this pub enough. Greeted with a lovely smile and a warm welcome. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely warm atmosphere with a great drinks selection! The jukebox and pool table kept us entertained for hours as well as the chatty staff and locals. Will definitely be back!

Have just been to the Dukes Head and what a fantastic pub. All too many of our pubs are generic so to find a friendly pub with a great atmosphere was a thrill.

Visited here twice when staying in Dunton Green. It seems to be an authentic village pub. Friendly service and it seemed very popular with locals.

WOW, what a fantastic boozer. If All Bar One and Gastro pubs is your thing than this isn't a place for you, however if you enjoy a pub that is from an era before then welcome home. This is your traditional local where everyone is friendly, warm welcome that keeps giving. Great bar staff and owners with a taste for the traditional, we were made welcome from our first visit and have been going back weekly ever since. Everyone is welcome from kids to OAPS, Great beer and company are always available regardless of day or time, current landlords are doing little bits every day to make the pub better from doing the garden, to the children's play area to deep cleaning the kitchen to get it ready for the culinary delights we are all looking forward to. All we can say as a family is Thank you - it is a pleasure to now be a local and to be able to go to the type of pub my parents used to take me and my brother to 40 years ago.

Recently moved to Dunton Green and finally found a place where you can go as a family without the hassle and ache of people being nuisance. As a Mummy and Wife I completely think that this pub is for all.

Popped into the Dukes Head with a friend to enjoy a glass (or 2!) of wine and enjoy the last of the evening sun in the outside seating area. Really lovely atmosphere and friendly & welcoming staff. Good range of wines available, really reasonably priced. Great facilities with sky sports as well. Noticed they have live music once a month and have recently restarted a weekly quiz on Thursday nights. They were also telling us about recent charity fundraising events which have been really successful. Definitely worth visiting if you're passing - you'll probably end up staying for more than one!

This is a locals pub with couples and small groups mingling together in a comfortable bar area. It has a traditional feel to it but with the normal addition of sports TV. We had a great evening there with friends entertained by a blues band of impressive provenance (ex Yardbirds!) Pleasantly devoid of teenage lager drinkers this pub is recommended for a relaxed drink with your friends.

What a great pub. Went for the first time with friends the other Saturday night and had a fab night. Very friendly staff, nice atmosphere, excellent band playing - and good Malbec! Will definitely be back!

More like 10 circles out of 5. As a single woman it's not easy to walk into a pub for a drink and a chat, well you can here. A lovely traditional pub feel. Recently under new management who are very inviting along with their staff. Staff very attentive, locals so friendly and welcoming you walk out with old friends. The new management have done very well with the refurb and looking forward to the restaurant opening. They lay on some fab events, fundraising evenings for really worthy charities, live bands, a brilliant juke box, pool, darts to name but a few. So many pubs are turning into gastropubs, bums on seats, eat and out, but this place is like being in a traditional English pub with a great variety of ales and a wine list that is superb and the prices are exceptionally reasonable. You couldn't ask for a nicer place to go and chill out in after a long day at work, and lovely over the weekend. Super large garden, ample parking. Every time I visit it just gets better. If you don't go there you are really missing out, and on that note I think I will make the most of the lovely weather and have a pleasant afternoon there before a Sunday roast this evening.

Pleasant "Proper Pub" vibe, with dark wood and brass bar. States that it has "real ales" outside, but only has Doombar, Old Speckled Hen, and Bombardier on offer, with no guest Ale... Saying that, the pints are crisp, and the pips are clean, the staff are friendly as well as the local clientele. Felt welcome and shall return. Did not stay for food so cannot comment. I do believe if food is served, it is not served late into the evening, but please do not quote me on that.

I visited this pub with my son and friends, they are welcoming and very friendly! I throughly enjoy myself everytime I go for a drink there! They have live bands and fundraising nights too! Such a good community to be part of!! Well worth a visit !!!

The dukes head is a family run pub that is building a good new reputation under new ownership , they are getting things sorted as soon as they can to open up the kitchen properly , and is open till 1 o'clock Friday and Saturday night , well worth a visit

De Engelse keuken en "pubfood" hebben een niet al te beste naam over het algemeen. De Dukes Head was daarom een aangename verrassing. Lekker gegeten en de bediening was heel goed.

It very hard to say much when you walk in to this place and were acknowledged by the bar tender and having only four people in the pub she had to keep flirting with a man rather than come serve the clients that will spend money. We sat their for awhile wondering if she was going to serve us and she looked at us again but no way was she interested in making a sale to interrupt her fling so we left hungry thirsty and annoyed at the poor attempt of making your customer happy, this won't ever be a place to go , many other fine pubs to visit.
