Great little pub. Clearly one for the locals but very welcoming to us, visiting from other areas. Food was good, beer was cold and a Pokestop outside to keep the kids amused!

Excellent food, and great value for money - highly recommended. We actually drove about seven miles each way (so it was not local to where we were staying) to enjoy the hospitality of this public house - worth the trip. Well done once more to the front of house staff, and the chef.

Popped in for a Sunday roast today when passing through the area and left feeling very well nourished all round. Lovely staff and excellent food - wholesome, good value, beautifully cooked and great portions and with a stunning and calming view of the river to boot! We both loved it and so did our well looked after dog too. Looking forward to returning! Thanks to all at The Duke’s Head in charming Corpusty.

Like some of the other people who have submitted reviews we visited the Dukes Head while staying in Corpusty. We visited both as a couple, and with the "wider family" (including children) and were delighted with the service, the quality of the food, and the prices. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and went out their way to provide an excellent service. There is a large garden at the back of the property (with some electric heaters should it get a bit cool) and the interior is warm and clean. This is not just somewhere to eat while staying in the area - it is well worth a diversion if you are passing. Excellent, keep up the good work, and hopefully we will see you in the not too distant future

We visited three times during our week’s stay in the village. The staff were all so friendly and the food was great. They even got in some special ice cream for the grandchildren for our last visit. Prices very reasonable too, and also dog friendly. Lovely pub garden for the nicer weather.

That rare thing these days...a decent pub....friendly customer service, beer, wine, food, good company, pool table, dog friendly, juke box, locals who talk to you, a real village asset....a pub, where you can have a night out without breaking the bank but can go home happy and feel your life’s been enhanced....just for one evening. The story’s the same for so many village pubs these days....Use it or lose it.Definitely use it.Thanks.

Me hubiera gustado!

Having just had a very enjoyable stay at the Barnham Broom Hotel with friends, I suggested we could drive 16 miles to the Dukes Head in Corpusty where I had enjoyed a Sunday roast with my wife and another couple while staying at a converted Barn in Booton Norfolk I reviewed the Dukes Head 16th November 2012, Again the warm welcome from Landlord Gerrard and Landlady Kirsty. The Dukes Head is a village pub in the traditional meaning of the word where the pub is supporting local sports clubs, in the trophy cupboard are displays of cups won, it is a hub where local people can meet, I was sent a direct question through Trip Advisor asking are dogs allowed. It would appear that dogs who are most welcome drag their owners to the pub for a drink and a chat. I would recommend this pub to my friends who may be travelling to Norfolk A Delicious Sunday Roast and Cherry Pie for £8.95 great value, Great food and a warm welcome what more could you want Thanks Gerrard and Kirsty. We will be back. Talisman UK

Just back from a lovely weeks stay in Corpusty. This is the one and only pub in the village and what a lovely little pub it is! Gerrard and Kirsty are the landlord and landlady and they are genuinely lovely people that couldn't do enough for me and my daughter. Wednesday night was sausage and mash night. Amazing! Friday was fish and chip night and i have to say the best fish and chips i'v ever had! Sunday i tucked into a traditional home made roast beef dinner with apple pie and custard for afters. The food in the Dukes Head is fantastic! The staff are really friendly, the gardens are huge, very pretty, plenty of seating and the village itself is beautiful! I stayed in a little B&B just a few yards away from the pub called Jantek B&B and again, it was lovely! I am already planning my next visit to Corpusty and the Dukes Head and i would highly recommend it!

We only went for lunch and we both decided to have the ribeye steak medium rare with chips. At £27 (now £34) a head we expected a decent steak but were very disapointed, it was tough, the waitress said she would tell the chef. They also add a 10% tip! A gratuity should be given for good service not just added to the bill.

On my third visit to the pub I was touched by the excellent customer service my ex husband and I received. We went for an early dinner and he accidentally spilled the food before we could touch it. The owner graciously attended to the situation. He is hands on and the staff are attentive. The food was great. It was smiles all round. Great place to hang out
