So I went a couple of times to this café and the first time I had a fried egg sandwich. I didn't when want it toasted but they did anyways. Never seen anyone toast in a toaster,and then panini press two slices of bread for a fried egg sandwich. It took 20 minutes and they served two people that came behind me first as if I wasn't even there. Rubbish, but I always give another chance. So the second time it was a bit quicker and the sandwich wasn't toasted. Nearly 6 pounds for a sandwich but anyhow. Then today I went in and wanted the same thing and they said no breakfast, yet the grill is on for frying bacon etc. So why couldn't they fry a couple of eggs just rude. Also they didn't even try to ask me if I would like something else they juat let me walk away. So disappointed that I will not go back. Super high price and rubbish service. Yours truly Mr pissed off. I will tell people that a lousy sandwich is 10 quid and don't bother going there or you will wait 20 minutes and be ignored and served last after others are given preference. Waste of time.

Please adjust the opening time and date, we went on Monday and it was closed.

Favorite spot in London for a lunch break. Amazing service, delicious food and very homely. Great people too. Coming here regularly! Highly recommended.

Food and coffee were delicious. My advice is if you’re going to speak behind your customers back, wait until they’re gone. Portuguese isn’t a common language but it isn’t a rare one either.

The best spot for breakfast and lunch in the area. The staff are all fantastic and the food is top notch. If its good for Rod Stewart its good for me! highly recommend.

Needed a place that opened early for breakfast and this place met the criteria (good ratings on Google too)! Had the sausage bap and a coffee. All in a good meal to start the day. The seating here is tight though so taking away might be a better option.

This is the best caffe that you can ever find in London. My husband and I recently stayed in a Hotel close by and we had breakfast every morning at Duke’s. The sandwiches are so delicious, fresh and filling. And the coffees and hot chocolate are to die for. Everything is so well made, fresh and recipe like homemade. No kidding!! I wish I could have this coffee where I live.

We moved to the neighbourhood recently and really regret not visiting sooner. It's a perfect cafe with very friendly staff — great vibes. It's hard to find a cafe this nice in London, let alone on our front door step. I'd really recommend visiting Duke's over the Starbucks that moved in next door because the coffee is better and supporting local is always a great thing. Also the prices are as competitive as Starbucks!

Outstanding place with variety of food! Everything was delicious, the service was top-notch, and the coffee was absolutely amazing - one of the best I've ever had in London. I would rate this place more than 5 stars!

The quality of their food is simply superb. The chili chicken/rice is the best I have ever tasted. I also bought breakfast for James May (of Top Gear fame) here one day and they have other celebs frequently popping in as the food is so good!

Great place for lunch, coffee, snacks, etc. In centre of piccadilly circus and green park. Reasonable prices and great food. much recommended.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! This place has been massively turned around since the new owner stepped in, incredible variety in sandwiches and hot food - there is always something new to try. You can also see the passion and dedication that is being put into this small independent coffee shop. This place is definitely the place to have lunch or a quick coffee in the area with prices and quality that excels against any other places to eat in the area!

What an amazing little coffee shop Dukes Caffe is. Exceptional, friendly staff who always work with enthusiasm and a smile on there face. Food is always fresh and yummy! Such a little gem in the middle of Green Park :)

Yummy fresh good quality food. I come here for my work lunch breaks. Get there before 13:00 or they’ll run out of the good stuff. My only upset is that the prices are rising week by week. My price of my salad has risen from £6.50 to £6.95. Although I’ll pay the difference because it is tasty.

I use this cafe for our company's weekly Friday breakfast run. The service is excellent, and the feedback I get from our employees is that there is no better place in London that produces such a wonderful breakfast sandwich. I can thoroughly recommend the Salmon, Avocado and Cucumber baguette which I personally look forward to each Friday.

Favourite lunch takeaway place!! Huge portion of any meat/fish of your choice + four generous (eg half of big avo) vegetable toppings + dressing for 6.50 to take away (7.50 to sit in). There are other options with rice and hot daily specials available More a takeaway cafe, but there is a small sitting area.

Visited this quite small café with colleagues, on recommendation, whilst attending a nearby meeting. The food and drinks were fine and the staff looked after us. I would be happy to visit here again

Used this as our go-to take out breakfast place for 3 days in London. Bacon, egg and/or sausage breakfast sandwiches are ample in size and taste really good. Coffee is also good. Staff were helpful and smiling whenever we came.

Very nice Chicken Kebab, rice and salad. Nice tender chicken pieces, not too oily. Good salad selection with the likes of avocado, mushrooms, and a delicious salasa which goes beautifully with the rice underneath. All for £6.20. I'll be coming back again.

Visited what looked like a very pleasant, but small coffee shop in St James's whilst I was waiting to meet someone. All three of the staff serving were miserable, rude and really didn't want to be there. They barked at me throughout my short time there, and despite my numerous attempts to cheer them up, they continue to snarl replies. Coffee wasn't worth the money, says Illy on the outside, but who knows. When the competition is in the thousands in London, and they were empty...you can see why!! Don't bother!

What a great place to get your office breakfast or lunch. Always service with a smile, the food is great and the portions are good for the price. Coffee is good with a little card you can get stamped for free coffee after so many. They will also supply food for office meetings. I highly recommend for breakfast the Cumberland sausage sandwich.

The best grilled chicken, rice and salad lunch for under 6 quid! Fresh delicious salad that you can mix and match items and the portions are huge! It it one of my little hidden gems, be prepared to queue but mark my words it's worth it.

Duke street grill has gone really downhill. It's always been more expensive than others but you didn't mind paying because the food quality was superior. No longer the case it seems. Not only was the takeaway nearly an HOUR later than estimated but the burger bun was stale, the burger itself tasteless, the potatoe skins were literally a jacket cut in half with cheese on top! Then the kebab, the meat was overdone, the kofte bland and tasteless, the wrap stale also. Ideally I'd like a refund as it's mostly gone to waste

chicken fillet burger isnt a chicken fillet burger its chicken shish in a burger! doesnt taste nice and I asked for donner meat well cooked and it wasnt.

rubbish service. we ordered about a months ago and it was over 2 hours late no call to say why and was burnt.contacted them and they said we could have half price on our next order! so we ordered again on 17th sept 2015 and Im not happy again!!! just because we paid half price doesn't mean we only want half our food! so we called again and there reply was we will make sure we delivery it NEXT TIME! THERE WILL NOT BE A NEXT TIME AGAIN!! A PREGNANT WOMAN WITH ONLY HALF HER FOOD AND THE OTHER HALF NOT ON ITS WAY AS THEY CANT BE BOTHERED FORGET IT!

Food was cold waited 1hour 20minutes for delivery definitely wouldn't order again or recommend

I have ordered from duke street grill before and use to love the food however I will not be ordering from here again. Firstly when I opened the bag liquid had leaked from the salad all over my kitchen counter.  When I opened the kebab (not only was my order wrong).  But the pitta bread had completely discintigrated and was wet. The tzatziki that I ordered was flavourless and extremely watery. The side salad was off and smelled bad. The delivery was late.  I called and was offered 50 % off my next order but I got them to send me new food. Which was lovely and exactly how it should have been. A bit annoying that I needed to point out that my delivery was not an exceptable standard for them to realise.  

An excellent main meal lunch for under £7. Plenty to eat and well presented. Had a good pot of tea too. What a shame there isn't a little more space to sit and enjoy. the food if you want to stay. I will return.

I been waiting 2 hours for one kebab piss take

One of the items from our order was not available so someone from the shop called to let us know and that the driver would give us the money back. The driver had not been told and he was very rude. We had to call the shop for them to talk to him. We also found another item was missing, when we called the shop, again the man on the phone was very helpful and said he would ask a driver to come with a refund. The same driver returned and was just as rude. The food however was great as always.

Pretty fab all round. Tasty food, good delivery, 2nd time we've ordered duke street grill through justeat & will definitely order again. Only minor gripe, wish the hummus wasn't already on the bread but will be making a note for next time! :-)

Food was ok but missing drinks drinks and took a little longer then estimated to get here.

Over priced, late, small portions incorrect drinks , items missing not offered to bring them back only a 15% discount on next order .... won't be ordering again shame tho because what little food did come was really nice ..... a poor 4 out of 10 for me

Food was stone cold when it got here, the wrap was very dry and the cheesy chips hardly had any cheese on them and what was on there was only on one side!

Waited for the food for over an hour and it arrived completely cold!Tasted ok but for nearly £18 I do expect a bit more than some scraps thrown onto a piece of bread. Garlic bread was cold and soggy :( Ordered with salad- came without :( Not happy with the quality

Ordered takeaway last night, after 1.5 hours I called to see where my food was and the driver had tried to deliver it to the wrong address then gave up. Didn't even bother to call me to explain or find right address. Now need to wait a week to get a refund back through Just Eat. Absolute joke.

food arrived on time, friendly service. food was lovely and hot, was so impressed with the taste and quality felt like it should be restaurant quality!! you can really tell they take pride in there cooking! meat was so juicy and tender! slightly over priced but was still great anyway! mustn't grumble, great job!

1 hour 50 mins for poor food to be delivered this was the worse food I had ever tried!!! never ever again every dish was dreadful no words can explain but I will try chicken shish dry no flavour lamb was tough I mean like rubber the chicken donner meat was so dark it looked like it had been sitting around for days salad was ok but that's because they didn't have to cook it trust me you will regret giving them your money Turkish bread mine was a pitta nothing special Waste of my money

Had no chicken Donna so changed for shish then failed to dsliver my lamb Donna meat at the same time I had to call them then they sent around what looked off cuts from a lamb joint. Very disappointed with my meal cost too much for what I got and not very enjoyable will not order from them again

recently ordered from duke street grill, unfortunately the order was late, and of poor quality, there was so much grease that the bag was dripping and left a puddle on the floor, the donner meat was full of bone and tasteless and they did not pay attention to the comments regarding the salad. Overall i was very dissatisfied with the order and would like something done about it

Asked for Chicken Doner. Rang me back 15 mins later to say they did not have any left. Disappointing. Offered a substitute of Chicken Shish which was very nice. Lovely fresh salad and flavoursome meat. Pleasant delivery driver.

Food turned up cold. It was a quick delivery, not necessarily a good thing for the quality of food. There was only one small chicken fillet in the 'chicken fillet burger' ie chicken nugget in a bun. The chips were dry and horrible, and the side donner meat was cold.

Delivery times are awful and the food is always cold! It's beautiful once you heat it up in the microwave though, genuinely the best kebabs I've had! A cheek charging £2 for delivery as well when they have not once shown up on time.

Surprisingly good! I was expecting the standard dirty night-out takeaway but the food was good quality, not dripping with grease and just generally nice! Will be ordering from here again I'm sure.
