At The Hampshire Lounge Bar in City of London, Westminster

Excellent service at the Hampshire Lounge Bar. Magan took very good care of us and made it a very pleasant experience!

Great Location and Quiet even though it is bang in Leicester Square. The toilets were clean and the towels were really refreshing on a hot summer afternoon. The staff were really polite and attentive and accommodating. Top marks to Sonia, Marco and Magan. Would definitely go there again. Sunil

A small gem in very busy area. We love this place, so every time we come to Soho, we stop by at this place.

Last week, my friend and I were sat in the lounge having a look at the menu, we weren’t sure if we wanted to stay or go somewhere else. While looking at the menu, a female member of staff (who I assume was a manager) basically shouted at my friend and I asking if we’re ready to order with the rudest tone. As someone who works in hospitality at a 5* hotel, I was shocked and astounded at the level of rudeness, especially as we’d decided to stay in The Lounge At The Hampshire but her tone and abrasive nature deterred us from staying in such an establishment. The experience left such a poor taste in my mouth that I advise my friends to avoid dealing with the staff in the Lounge.

Slow service. It is never good when the manager undermines (the correct actions) by an employee in front of customers. We were the only customers, so we went to another coffee shop that welcomed customers.

A tad expensive, great location, small cocktails Nice quiet and friendly good for a drink, not tables to sit at only the bar area....

A nice location ruined by obnoxious rude waiters, with abysmal service. A real shame.

The Hampshire lounge bar portrays itself as an upstanding establishment however, upon requesting a slimline tonic and being promised it's imminent arrival I was greeted by a refreshingly light fever tree. A drink which contains 2.9g of sugar. I feel cheated and decieved. As I enquired about the zero sugar mixer I specifically asked for the waiter proceeded to feverishly laugh at me. In fact, I thought he was to faint with laugher. This is an allergin atrocity this business is on the brink of a lawsuit. Will never attend again, absolutely appalling.

Este lugar no es barato, pero es probable que se espere cuando esté sentado en el corazón de Leicester Square. Comenzamos con un par de cócteles, uno del menú y uno no a un precio de 9. 50 cada uno. Seguimos con una cena que incluía Stone Bass y Mushroom Risotto más un plato de papas fritas. El bajo y el risotto eran muy sabrosos y mi esposa y disfrutamos comiéndolos. La comida era precios en 53 con un cargo por servicio discrecional de 12. 5% haciendo que el costo total sea de 59. 63. Mientras estábamos sentados afuera, tuvimos un excelente entretenimiento desde un busker regular situado al otro lado del camino desde donde nos sentamos. Nos lo pasamos muy bien, los cócteles y la comida eran geniales. Si está buscando una comida barata, entonces este no es el lugar para usted. Pero si estás preparado para gastar un poco más, entonces vale la pena intentarlo.

Outside seating and Cocktails were gorgeous however the early closing times and slow service was a definite turn off.

Rather odd policy of not serving any food at all at certain times but staff very helpful notwithstanding.
