My husband and I have seen queues outside Dukes for a while now and so we went to see what all the fuss was about. Well had a really lovely lunch - my husband had a sandwich made up of just what he fancied in it whilst I had the veggie bhaji wrap. Both were full of flavour, succulent and just really yummy! The latte was lovely too. We will be visiting afraid soon I’m sure

My daughter and I were able to walk to this little gem, enjoying good "takeaway" service on the pavement tables outside. Our coffee was exactly to our liking. We shared a piece of superb cake, one of the best we've tasted (and we consider ourselves good judges), clearly homemade. The owner was absolutely great: friendly, helpful, patient , warmly greeting regulars ...as if nothing was too much trouble. This will become a favourite as we try other items from the menu. Thank you for making and ordinary day special!

First visit here walking distance from mom nursing home.Duke are clean, welcoming,friendly and accommodating for all there customers. We had a beautiful homemade slice of Lemon and Poppyseed cake. I'm sure mom would have eaten more,but, I didn't want to spoil her appetite for later.The refreshing cold drink was complement to the hot sunny sunday 13th June 2021. We was there awhile taking in the friendly Duke Coffee House and Eatery with happy staff and happy customers. We will definitely visit again.

I've been lucky enough that my other half has bought me a pasty from Dukes for the last two weeks. Honestly the best I've ever had. So tasty and great thin pastry

Dukes may seem like a average coffee shop but is so much more! Its modern décor makes the shop interesting to look at and creates a friendly atmosphere. The shop adhered to covid-19 regulations making my experience a safe and relaxed one. The staff were so lovely and friendly, showing their true passion for the shop. I ordered a pumpkin spiced latte and smashed avocado toast which I can honestly say pair up to make the best meal! Both items were full of flavour and beautifully presented. I HIGHLY recommend visiting Dukes, even for a take-a-way in these uncertain times.

I was in between appointments with work and needed a break, noticed this cute little cafe and stopped to get a takeaway coffee. The staff were so friendly and despite the rainy weather they were happy and smiling! Just what I needed after a long morning!! The coffee was amazing! I will definatly be back to try their menu! Xx

Just passing this cafe and liked the look of it so popped in. It has oodles of bo-ho cheque atmosphere and I was given a really friendly greeting. I was in a rush so grabbed a jacket potato to go - Hummus and seeds with cheese and salad. WOW! I cannot recommend enough! Full of flavour! And delivered in a biodegradable package with wooden utensils. Well done Dukes! Have been banging on about it so much my workmates and I are off there for lunch!

Dukes is currently only open for take away but the girls were still friendly as ever and well organised at the door. Had their raspberry and white chocolate cake which is a firm favourite. Hope they can open properly again soon!

Coffee the best in the area by far. Bacon cobs on a weekend, spot on. Lockdown lunch in a box fantastic. Love the banana cake too. Lovely little cafe with friendly service.

I ordered afternoon tea for my birthday which included 2 who were veggies. The sandwiches, cakes and especially scones were delicious. For the cost of £10 pp I thought it was excellent value for money. Will definitely be using again

We visited with family for lunch. Good food, good service, friendly atmosphere. I would give the coffee only 9/10, but everything else 10/10.

Popped in and what a lovely vibe this cafe has, was in a rush but had a superb coffee and took a cake to go. Charlie the young lady that served me was very professional and relaxed. Will be returning and will make sure I have more time.

Visited this lovely little place today with a friend. We had tea,OAT Flat white ,sausage sandwich and beans on toast. It was lovely and the coffee was just on point and it’s difficult to do that on the milk alternatives! Stuff was so lovely,and place is charming inside. Already looking forward for the next time we will visit!

Dukes Coffee Shop is an oasis , a place to relax and enjoy wonderful coffee and cake plus breakfasts and lunches, gluten free available too. .Staff are very friendly and welcoming ,fabulous decor, child friendly ,a place to sit outside during nice weather ,highly recommended.
