Probably one of the best coffee houses in Wolverhampton, the staff are exceptional in their service and attention to detail, which gives a really chilled atmosphere. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality, and the food is outstanding. The only things better than this are the cakes, home baked by some of the staff and the chef. They are beyond amazing.

I had the most amazing cappuccino that I have ever tasted and a teacake for breakfast. Everything was beautifully prepared we sat in the pretty tea room with the beautiful flower wallpaper. Evoke is a very warm comforting place and the staff were all really kind and we were greeted and made to feel welcome as soon as we stepped through the door. I can't wait to go back!

Went in first thing on a Saturday for breakfast. Brilliant friendly service, great food and really reasonably priced. Really good selection and quality coffee as well. Home made cakes all looked amazing although we didn’t indulge.

I booked the night before via FB and they reserved a table for me for the next day :) I had eggs royal and my other half had eggs benedict and the food was great. Drink were good, I had an iced vanilla Latte that's was delicious! Overall lovely coffee shop, I've been here a few times now and I've never been disappointed. Lots of cake choices if you fancy a cake and a coffee. Also serve alcohol👍🏻

Everything was superb until... the kitchen closed and so we had to stop ordering. I am giving less than the 5 stars because it really was disappointing and I don't think it would have been too technical to do a toasted teacake. The kitchen closes an hour before their advertised closing time. Completely soured an otherwise good experience and so I won't be returning. Other people asked for toasted teacakes after me so there is a demand... Local competitors take note. Started off thinking it was great and I'd be back but have left thinking the cakes are overpriced.

This place is spotless, all the staff are friendly. We had breakfast sandwiches & sausage for the dog. Food was hot and delish, staff even popped our order out to our car in the rain. 1st time visit ( 24/8/24), but definitely not the last. Thank you

Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, however, to say it's a coffee shop, the coffee was very poor. Coffee tasted like it hasn't been dialled in and tasted over extracted. All the kit and no idea it seems. Brownies were very nice along with the breakfast, however, scrambled eggs didn't seem anything special over a normal cafe.

Partook in afternoon tea at Evoke. Great value for money. Good vareity of filings in the sandwiches,fresh scones with jam and clotted cream and sponge cake. Highly recommend a visit if your hungry. Had to take a doggy box home. Phew!!!!!

Met up with good friends today and had lots to catch up on - my first visit and I was really impressed - swift polite service , lovely food and generous portions and well priced but most importantly for us was the lovely atmosphere and no rush to get you out the door - VERY impressed 👍

We chose the specials today with a lovely hot chocolate and an English breakfast tea. My gluten-free friend chose the special...'Crushed Minted Pea and Poached Egg on Sourdough Bread. I chose the 'Shakfhouka': spicy tomatoe & peppers with poached egg, served in a bowl with a nan bread. They were both delicious. It was lovely, flavoursome, and a nice change for me to have a vegetarian dish. For dessert, my friend had a slice of the 'Naughty Chocolate Cake (gluten-free)', and l had the 'Lemon & Blueberry Cake'. The cafe has a modern, cosy atmosphere, the staff are lovely and helpful, it is a popular place and sells a mix of beverages and popular for its Afternoon tea. My friends visit this cafe regularly, some have disabilities, parkinsons, and enjoy the whole experience here. It has seating outside as well as inside, a toliet, and is all on ground floor so fine for people with disabilities. The only down side is it is a small venue so not a very spacious inside, so not an easy space for a wheelchair, but on a nice day, they is plenty of room to be seated in the front outer seating area, and l'm sure the staff would help, as people usually order at the counter inside. I would highly recommend Evoke as a lovely place to eat quality, tasty, freshly prepared food, and l would definitely visit again.

Had a lovely brunch here with friends 😊 despite there being quite a few of us we were looked after really well and the food and drinks were amazing with plenty of delicious gluten free, vegetarian and alternative milk options. The atmosphere was lovely as were the people who served us. Thank you so much for making it so special for us all!

Too many reserved tables not first come first serve. Not always able get table. Nice once do.

Really relaxed friendly atmosphere

Lovely little cafe, a busy spot but for good reason! We were acknowledged within a minute of entering, and originally placed on the high seated table. A member of staff came over shortly after to ask if we would like to swap to a table with lower seats, as we struggled a bit to get on the higher seats. Coffee was good, food was fresh and staff were friendly!

Evoke is my favourite cafe to go to. I am always here with my partner we love it here! The food is always 10/10, never had to send anything back. Staff are super friendly.

Blessed to have this on our doorstep here in Wolverhampton 🙏🏻 It is such a friendly, welcoming and cosy eatery. There is a wonderful covered courtyard area out back, that is lovely to sit out in all seasons and a sectioned off seated area at the front which is lovely to make use of during milder weather. The staff are all wonderful, even when you dash in five minutes before the kitchen closes of Christmas Eve desperately wanting/needing your favourite tuna, cheese melt panini 😋🙏🏻 Their cakes are homemade and simply to die for ❣️ Twinkle lights adorn the place and I love the quirky phrases in the form of pictures etc. just a wonderful place to eat with friends or alone and watch the world go by for awhile!

Just had a beautiful buffet Birthday lunch. Food was wonderful and the staff were so helpful and friendly. Good value too. We all really enjoyed ourselves. Thanks everyone!

First timeout post lockdown restrictions, have to say how fantastic to have café culture on our doorstep. Definitely helped by the lovely sunshine 🌞. We sat out the front of the shop and had a lovely lunch, coffee and tea were excellent too, didn't have room for the cakes the looked scrumptious in the shop so will definitely have to go back and have some. Another visit for a late Saturday afternoon coffee and cake, absolutely delightful

A quaint little tea house with beautiful china cups plates and teapots. The sandwiches are good variety, cakes soft and tasty and scones are filled with jam and yummy cream. We four aged ladies enjoyed our catch up and will return.

What a find! Certainly not something I'd expect to find here. Superb breakfast with staff that were helpful and flexible. Brilliant full english and the Eggs Royale (Eggs Benedict with attitude) was adjudged top notch. Very busy but deserves to be so.

We came to Evoke for the quiz night and had an absolutely wonderful time. Came dead last but had such a laugh. We will definitely be coming again if you do it again. We had the 3 plates of food for £12 and the whole lot was demolished, very enjoyable, great value for money. would definitely recommend. We also had a range of drinks from alcoholic, frappes and ofc coffees (cause some of us were driving) all very lovely and again all good value for money. Thank you to all of the staff that were working last night, with special mentions to Ann marie, Tess and Nikki who all did a fantastic job in making the evening run so smoothly I.m.o.

Such a nice place I would recommend to anyone wanting to have a good time. Great atmosphere and lovely ppl. Great staff always friendly and polite and the price is good too and the food is 12/10. I went in the other day and asked for my tea to be warmed up so they offered me a new pot of tea on the house. Then the owner offered my daughter a new drink too. Never disappointed here ☺️

Great staff who know what customer service is about. They create the atmosphere and it’s clear there are many regulars (which now includes me.) Lovely coffee and cakes that are a mix of old and new flavours. The first time I have ever been asked to try a small piece of a couple of cakes to see what I think. Lovely concise menu and good pricing. They also understand portion control; not too much on the plate, just right. Oh… and did I mention the Bakewell Tart? 😇👍. UPDATE 6th September 2023… still as good as when I first went a couple of years back. Consistently good food and sensible prices. Customer service is excellent without being overbearing. Always recommended. 👍

We went for the first time yesterday and it was better than I expected. Great service, nothing was too much bother. Lots of cakes to choose from and fresh smoothies. Will definitely go back to try out the afternoon tea.

Really nice place, staff were friendly and welcoming as soon as we walked in and the coffee and food was brought to us really quick as well. It's bigger than you think as there's seating out the back as well as in front and inside but even though we got there not long after opening by the time we was leaving the place had started to fill up and it was easy to see why. We can't wait to go back again soon maybe a good excuse to walk the dog that way 👍☕

Mouth watering cake, amazing choices for savoury food. I had the chicken and bacon panini, but the poached eggs looked amazing, the bounty milkshake was so heavenly and they even added espresso for this caffeine addict to get me through the afternoon work slog after leaving their lovely outside area where I could have stayed all afternoon!

Sorry but i believe it's unethical to charge someone extra for non dairy milks. One doesn't charge Extra for sweeteners instead of cane granulated sugar (such as a diabetic who uses sweeteners) and there's a lack of vegan options on the menu so I'll support a competitor who caters and doesn't discriminate

Nice for an evening private hire venue (minus food) with comfy courtyard area out the back. Lovely, clean and cosy venue for a small family party. Staff were friendly and helpful through the event too.

Weekly spot for work catch up, mid morning or lunch. Eggs royal are the best, cake selection will blow your mind. Super friendly staff, excellent coffee selection and alternative milks, loyalty card for drinks. Fabulous gem of an independent coffee shop.

Went for afternoon tea. Omg amazing. Food was beautifully presented and very filling. Had another to go as they couldn't come so took one out and again couldnt believe how it was presented. Staff are so friendly very attentive. Love this place . Would definatley advise a visit.

Came here for brunch with a friend and it was lovely. Great coffee and cake. The staff were really nice and it had such a good atmosphere. If I lived closer, I would certainly come here more often. It was quite busy when we came (midweek, late morning), so next time I'd reserve a table just to make sure I didn't miss out.
