Draft House Chancery in City of London, Westminster

Un bar grande y concurrido con una abrumadora selección de cervezas. Como grupo, habíamos hecho una reserva y pre-ordenado comida. Sin embargo, pasó una hora antes de que consiguiéramos comida -o el sistema de pedidos previos no funcionó, o hubo una estratagema para aumentar las ventas de cerveza. Varias personas habían pedido artículos en línea por adelantado que en realidad no estaban disponibles, por lo que el menú en línea es diferente del de la casa. El pedido en línea de bebidas de un código QR tampoco funcionó; el pedido en el bar fue mucho más rápido. La comida era buena cuando lo conseguimos!

I hadn’t been here for a while and a friend visiting London suggested it for a weekday afternoon catch up. It was great. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, nice beer, friendly helpful staff and quietly getting busy as the workday ended. I think I’ll be back soon and maybe have a bite to eat as the food that went past looked good.

I went there today with my friend for beer and burger, waited for over 20 min to be serve and no one came so we call one of the staff finally she came, grumpy and with attitude. Took the order I ask if the chef can do the burger midium she ansver " the all the same and I don't know" finally after another 20 min the food arrive, the chicken wings just salt and the burger completely burn, black and dry like Sahara desert. When I show her she said "ye I can see" no sorry, no can I do something nothing " I told you they all the same" basically her attitude was I don't give a s**t. So I told her to take away and I eat the fries. Then when we where paying the manager came because they overcharge us and the manager same as the staff only at least have fake smile on her face and trying blame me for the dreadful food and service. She " the staff she is the best, the nicest of all of them" then " if I like I can go to kitchen and teach the chef how to grill burger" WOW thank you but NO THANK YOU if they calling themselves chef maybe they need to know the basic. In the end we went to GBK to get nice juice burger and have nice good service.

Visited the rebranded BrewDog Chancery Lane close to closing time and unlike ur previous evening at the Seething Lane the bar staff were helpful and prompt, it is a large bar but near empty on our visit but can imagine on busy days there must be a great atmosphere in here

Just had an absolutely awful experience here. Firstly, it took ages for any staff to take an order even though it wasn’t very busy. Then once I did order I asked for water along with my food and beer. I ended up asking for water 3 times and it never came. When my food arrived it wasn’t what I’d ordered even after confirming some details with the waiter of what I was ordering. He then proceeded to stand there telling me I’d ordered something I never would. When he eventually stopped telling me I was lying and changed the burger my real order was instantly ready..... as if he had picked up the wrong order. The burger was barely warm and the bun was stale. The ‘triple cooked chips’ definitely hadn’t been triple cooked. They were lumps of barely cooked potato. Tasted very much like Iceland frozen chips to me. The wings were again barely warm and just had a small amount of buffalo thrown somewhere near them. The beer was good. I’d strongly recommend avoiding this for any food! Quite a nice place for a drink though.

We had our Christmas party at Draft House Chancery, and they handled everything perfectly, from booking to menus to the night itself! A really great team of staff and delicious food (best vegan pie I've ever had). Cocktails were great value and a huge range of beers. Thank you!

Andrea was very friendly and sweet, thank you for making our friday a one to remember! Defo back soon!!

We went to the Draft House at Chancery Lane for some drinks after work. We booked a table in advance which I would recommend as it gets busy. We were greeted by Andrea and her team on arrival and they were warm and attentive all night. Great choice of beers, good service and excellent food. Will be back for sure!

25 people for lunch; great afternoon in a very friendly atmosphere. The staff looked after us very well; the food and beer were all enjoyed and nothing was left on the plates or in the glasses! We had a number of children with us and they enjoyed it as well, especially the brownies! Would definitely recommend and we will return.

Had a great time at this spot. Been having a lot of nonchalant to rude service in London over the past week, but had our best server by far here, Andrea. She was very attentive and quick and encouraged us to try as many beers as we liked to make sure we liked what we were drinking. Definitely would come back if I had more time in London! Wish there were more servers like Andrea around!

My husband and I and his parents went to the draft house in London and enjoyed the drinks and food. We are from Canada and my husband and I had been in London for a week and had received poor service (I.e., slow, inattentive servers) at other London restaurants. Coming in to the draft house we had prepared ourselves to receive slower service than in North American restaurants. However we found the draft house surprisingly refreshing as we were greeted immediately by our server (Andrea) who was prompt, attentive, hilarious, and respectful. Also we received our delicious food in a timely manner. Definitely will be back and would recommend to other friends who are visiting London!

Worst service ever. Barman absolute disgrace. Beer overpriced anyway. Would give it 0 stars if possible. Avoid. Makes money because of its location. Disgrace

This is local to my workplace and always a favourite lunchtime choice. Burgers are always amazing and good selection of wines and beers. All staff are really friendly and welcoming, but Andrea deserves a special mention! She always remembers our order, always smiling and gives good recommendations on any new items on the menu! Thank you for always taking such great care of us :)

Unbelievably slow bar service, The first row of people waiting at the bar were being completely ignored by most bar staff. When I asked three people in front of me if they were being served yet, all answered no, so I gave up.
