Food arrived 2 hours late and freezing cold. Went straight in the bin. Management did not care and lost over £40.00. PayPal eventually payed me back

I’ve come here few times in past always nice food , coke here tonight and my god the food was vile , chicken was grizzle and un eatable , rice was over done , garlic bread didn’t even taste like pizza dough more like undercooked pastry. I told the man it was vile and I was laughed at never again.

Ordered food to be delivered. Waited over 2 hours told driver ran out of petrol. So guess what food was cold floating in grease and fit only for the bin. Shop did not want to know so i wasted my £21.00 are earned cash. Avoid

Friday night treat with Dr Q’s. We ordered 3 meaty parmos, all were burnt from the bottom, unable to eat it all because the chicken was hard and over cooked.

took an hour for food to come and after waiting 20 minutes to be asked if we wanted desert our old plates were left on the table x

My new favourite place to order from. Amazing burgers, pizza/garlic bread and milkshakes. I can’t understand the negative comments. Will definitely be using again

Food never arrived even though Uber Eats shows as order complete. Now sitting here hungry and skint. Not happy at all.

The restaurant was empty with 1 table sitting and there were 4 waiters on standby. This seemed like we could be getting the best customer service however we were very mistaken. The drinks we had ordered took 40minutes to arrive at the table, they looked good but the waiters didn’t attempt to give us the usual presentation of smoke for appearance even when raised. The meals also arrived late, which was an hour after ordering. The delays were unusual as the restaurant was empty. The restaurant was also very cold which made the wait feel even longer. We ordered a variety of things including a steak, family platter, and pizza which was presented well. The most disappointing was the steak as it was cut into small, tiny square pieces with no sauce or gravy and the smallest amount of vegetables to go with it. The steak was very hard and chewy. The pizza was different to their usual and the chicken tasted dry and old. This was raised with the staff but they were clueless and unapologetic of the issue. It seemed that the management had changed and needs to train their staff and chef. In addition there are boards at the entrance stating there is 20% discount or 10% student discount which seemed like a good deal until it was not applied on the bill and the staff stated this was being changed. The restaurant has been misleading customers into thinking they have good deals on when in reality it is not being applied. We also ordered takeout for a family member and again no takeaway discount was applied. There was 1 table sitting which had also made complaints about their Chicken Kiev and how they were disappointed as a regular customer. This customer then recieved a 50% discount due to their issues and ours were not addressed when they were just as vital.

Visited with family and was extremely disappointed and devastated at the service and quality of food. Service was poor although there was only 1 other table we had to wait over 40 minutes for drinks to be served and to receive kids meal after an hour. There was a huge variation in the portion size served, In comparison to the steak I've previously ordered today's steak was cut into 5 tiny pieces with no gravy served and hardly any vegetables. I raised this with the staff who seemed clueless and unapologetic of the issue. The pizza was also cooked very differently than usual and the chicken tasted and smelt awful. When I received my bill the 20% discount which was advertised outside the restaurant on a board and inside the menus was not applied on the bill and when I raised this with staff they said they need to change the menu and to ignore the board outside and menus which clearly state 20% discount, i felt this was very misleading and falsely advertised welcoming customers with offers and then not applying or implementing this. The customers sitting in the other table had also complained about their food and were compensated immediately with a 50 percent off their bill however as a customer I wasn't treat fairly and despite complaining and raising concerns no further action or compensation was made on my behalf. I've had the worst experience there with family and wont be visiting again. Don't recommend this place for the poor service and quality.

Having dinned in many if not all of Sunderland's food establishments over the many years I've been here. This Dr. Q's sits up in the top 5. Highly recommend and would urge you to write your own review.

We luckily found a table for 7 during eat out to help out. Great menu and thoroughly enjoyed the food, although they dont serve alcohol and we missed this when booking. The bill was considerably cheaper though so not all bad. Really enjoyed ourselves.

We reserved table only to be told to move after 10minutes. The food was below average! Service was appalling, only good thing was that the food was 50% (eat out to help out) would never go back as we didn’t enjoy majority of the food we ordered. The steak pieces we ordered as an extra was ok. The sirloin steak evem though we asked for medium well done was almost burnt and well done and very chewy! The donner pita was awful! The Yankee burger was just a gimmick and was lacking flavour!

Waited 40 mins for food. The steak was so dry not medium rare at all and tiny strips. Garlic bread overcooked and no cheese. No wedges or garlic bread slices left. One couple walked out while we were there. Yet had takeaway last week and food was amazing. Quality should not suffer just because its half price and busy. Need more staff and kitchen staff. Get your service right.

Amazing food, can’t be beaten on the portions 🧡 first time of many at Dr Q’s! And the customer service is delightful!

Food was fantastic, I had the southern slaw burger with cheesy chips and corn. My Boyfriend had the butterfly chicken and peri peri chips and said the chicken was more succulent than Nando’s! Both tasted great. I’d recommend anyone to come and try here -...

Lovely place to eat. The peri peri chicken is really nice. Prices are good too for the food you get. I have been here a few times now and I really enjoy it. The decor of the place is fantastic too.

I went with my friends and our children. We were truly looked after by the staff which is a major come back for me. The kids were asked if they wanted specific colored burger buns which lit their faces when they received mini pink and...

Had a great meal here today. Super friendly staff with complimentary drinks and food! I ordered the Dr Q's chilli cheese bomb which was amazing. My wife and kids really enjoyed the meal aswell. All round 5 stars from me!
