Very lively pub in the center, staff efficient and friendly.

Never been in here and was surprised at how roomy it was, decent selection of beers, good staff.

Very clean and always a nice, very friendly staff and always a good vibe.

I attended a private party in the function room upstairs, which was a nice space. The food was nice, most of the staff were great (one of them started throwing empty bottles around before leaving abruptly), didn't spend any time in the main bar areas but most people seemed to be having a good time listening to the live music.

Had a meal on a Wednesday evening, hardly anyone in, service was good with friendly staff, always cleaning tables, food was very average.

Went for food one night after work & it was really good. 12oz Rump for £16 is such good value. Great friendly service & we will definitely come back!!!

lovely bar in the centre of town, remeber your credit card it isnt the cheapest for drinks! however i found the food to be well priced and had big portion sizes! will 100% be back as the service was great!

The bar was well staffed meaning waiting times to get served were low, despite the venue being busy! A local band were playing outside too, creating a mini festival experience. The weather was lovely. And everyone there had good vibes. Making for a great overall experience. It really did tick all the boxes and provided a great night!

Great place on PIP days great atmosphere music and dance.big queues at bar but served quickly only issue moved about to upstairs toilets when staff decisid when downstairs big questions why you can not gain access all the time .

This is my second visit and both times my Sunday lunch has been cold. Young girl that works behind the bar I found was rude ‘what do you want me to do about your dinner’ was her exact words. No appology, nothing. Scottish guy (I think) was much more understanding and apologetic, I did receive a refund. But unfortunately after 2 visits and both times being served cold food I won’t be returning.

Celebrated my 50th birthday with bottomless brunch with a large group of friends. The food and drinks choices were varied and really excellent quality. We had extremely attentive service and the whole thing was excellent value for money. Good atmosphere, live music and lovely surroundings! Loved it- thank you!!

Came with a friend for bottomless brunch on a Friday afternoon , fantastic value for money as much as you wanted to drink and plus really good food selection of food 2 hours for £35. Food was really good quality , service was great our server Emma was very friendly and welcoming we were never waiting for drinks. Definitely would recommend great value for money and excellent service.

Went for food on Thursday. We ordered a small plate of chich pea curry and the king prawns plus potato skins all 3 were lovely but I got the hot shot parmo It was shot alright Into bin.! Was worse parmo I've had there was no flavor and definitely not spicy . Little bits of meat on were bland . If I was to go back I'd give this a swerve.

Best bottomless brunch around went for my friends 30th there was 17 of us service was amazing I think our little waitress was Emily she was fab ! Been there a couple of times for brunch and the service is always the same never changes cocktails top notch !

One of the few places that lets you vape inside, plus you can smoke in the doorway. Punters sometimes give you a funny look if they're dining but staff just let you smoke/vape away. Recommend.

Highly recommend! Service was great we were in a large group and the staff offered to come to the table to take our order, which was a lovely gesture. Food came out hot and was all delicious. Portions were large and the food was very fresh. Yummy. Drinks average price and a good selection. Decor inside was lovely and modern and the bar was the right level of lively to create a buzz. I live in Bristol and will be returning again as the food was top notch.

I just popped into the first place with food as I was starving and I really injoyed it. Ordered classic chicken parmesan and it was great, just a bit greasy for my taste. Nice atmosphere and lovely staff.

This was my first time visiting Dovecot and I would 100% go back. I went with some work friends for bottomless brunch and honestly had the best time. Ryan looked after us so well, kept us topped up with the nicest drinks, had a smile on his face every time he came to our table, took the time to chat with us and was just overall brilliant! 😊♥️

I go for salsa socials and always pay at the bar, the bar staff has no memory and always claims that they didn’t serve me. I said that I paid and he keep claiming that I didn’t pay. When a customer says he paid, they should enquiry or check cc cameras rather he said many times that I didn't pay. Luckily the DJ saw me when dropping the token. Such a worst staff with poor memory and more over bad attitude. Felt like racism. They should have some manners towards customers.

Visited for Middlesbrough Restaurant Week, superb value (£20 for 3 courses). Loads of choice, generous portions and the food was clearly homemade. Well worth a visit.

We were told about Sunday lunch at dovecot so we give it a try .WOW.this was buitifull. 1.2.or3 meats realy enjoyed it . I would recommend booking Get realy full .Well worth it .

Food was delicious, service from cesar & Ryan was incredible they got us lots os drinks as soon as we asked. However throughout our time in the brunch we felt Vicky and Rachel were unapproachable they cancelled our order 10 minutes before we were allowed to order and cancelled 2 rounds of drinks saying we ordered “too much” when we had half a drink each when we ordered. Would highly recommended the brunch again but avoid Rachel and Vicky as they ruin the “vibe” and made us feel rushed and not appreciated. CEASER was 10000% start to finish xx

OMG after am, other amazing brunch. We had some car issues and had our brunch booked for 3pm and ring up and change it to 4pm, and they were very accommodating and moved the time. When we arrived, our server for the brunch was Caesar... OMG, he is amazing. Never let's a drink run dry and is always there to help and serve you. Thank you for the amazing service you gave us during our visit

We ordered steak and a chicken parmo about 2pm. Food was served with a smile and in good time. Good size portions, tasted lovely, and looked the part. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a photo. I would definitely go again, I would definitely recommend.

Ok pub, good beer, fantastic customer service… disappointed by the food. Order chicken parm. Not a sign of marina sauce on top. Just a massive chicken breast with a tone of bechamel sauce and some yellow cheese. Some people like it apparently. Undercooked, stogy chips. Maybe I wasn’t lucky? Maybe other meals are better. Wouldn’t come back personally.

I made a reservation for 8 people originally back in October for December between Christmas and New year and they were very helpful in accommodating us. On the day of the booking I needed to add an extra seat or two due to increase of attendees, they helped me change the booking and nothing was too much trouble for them. We ordered drinks and food at the same time and the food came out in a good time, quicker than we thought. The small plates were amazing and you got quite abit for your money 3 for £15. If your not a big eater then you could share these. The food was amazing, very tasty. The cocktail menu I was good ( pornstar martini) yum! We stayed for a good 3-4hours and the bar star were brilliant!. Would definitely come again with my work friends. Families are also welcome. Really good night and music was also played later into the day. Thank you again everyone at Dovecot, we will be back x

Revisited prior to a Boro Home Match, a pint of Madri £5.50 and due to bad reception on Vodafone I asked if they had their own WiFi. Answer was No! At £5.50 a pint 😳 Walked down to Bier & Beer better atmosphere and a pint of Staropramen £4!! Oh and great coverage and very fast WiFi. Sort it out lads!!

Amazing food, the parmo was excellent, ordered a regular which in any other establishment would have been advertised as a large so took home what i couldn't eat. It was delicious as were the chips. Very reasonably priced too. Bar staff couldn't help you enough. Will definitely go back. Merry Christmas everyone
