Served by Kate or Katie? Wonderful experience, had a few choices to make due to us being vegan and plant based. She helpfully explained that the dough was vegan, and that it was only the toppings were not. Especially helpful after she was dealing with a guest who was being difficult, belligerent, and rude. Seems as though he had been before and was ready to start a scene, she handled it perfectly and managed to still be polite and well mannered despite his horrible tone. As someone who has worked in hospitality for 7+ years, she should be very proud of her ability to stay calm in those situations. especially while she was on her own!

We love it here. Best donuts ever. Dunkin and krusty Kreme are nothing compaired to these! We got lucky too and managed to get a seat inside as the place itself is quite small.

Visited on Saturday the 22nd of October afternoon, not much choice two different types left, but happy they had been busy two staff in there who think they are being comedic…. But actually really rude and insulting, my daughter and her boyfriend both purchased a doughnut as me and my husband just looked as we were altogether, one of the staff asked me what I would like ? I explained we were just looking and with our family, she replied why don’t you stick a doughnut in your face while you are looking!!!! We tried to laugh it off as I didn’t what to spoil the day, she however thought she was very clever and funny!!! The doughnut were very nice but none of us would ever go in back in the shop if she was there again!!!! Shame

Visit everytine I come into town & today I was looking forward to a free birthday doughnut. Arrived at the shop about 10 am & it was closed ! Did a bit more shopping went back about 10.45 still closed. Messaged to enquire if they were going to open today Got a reply when I had returned home to say they would be open at 1.30 pm . Explained had left town and now back home so would it be possible to get one another day . Response was no sorry buddy can only be redeemed on birthday 🤷♀️ really disappointed in the customer service received today which is normally brilliant in the leicester store !

The doughnuts here are really enjoyable and fun. However, the lady working behind the counter was on the phone the entire time, barely said anything to us and just gestured at the card machine and threw both doughnuts in the bag without a box which meant that they were destroyed by the time we got home. Would return for the doughnuts but would try to avoid the in store experience and deliveroo them instead as I was shocked by the service.

Looking in the window we saw a huge array of doughnuts and went inside. Surprisingly quiet but it was a wet, cold Tuesday in November. The doughnuts looked fabulous with such a striking variety. We eventually chose a 9 pack to take home. Could wait but over a cup of tea we had a veritable sweet feast. My favourite was the Bakewell Tart doughnut but the girls loved all of the choccy ones, the biscoffee and the red velvet. Will definitely go again and buy more when in Leicester or any place that has Doughnotts. Only downer is that we would have loved to have had a coffee in the shop with a doughnut.

Thought I’d give this place a try, as who doesn’t like a decent donut? The shop itself is quiet large and there’s a small glass cabinet containing the doughy treats. Going by the price, I was expecting a vast array of creative flavours and ridiculous deliciousness. Instead it’s a small selection of the same old regurgitated varieties, biscoff, Nutella, Oreos and the usual chocolate bar variants. And that is pretty much IT. I applaud that they cater for vegans etc but the selection is completely soulless. Nevertheless, against my better judgment I spent £3 on a donut. Not a miss-print, they really do cost £3 and upwards!!! It was dry, stale even and sticky. I couldn’t eat it. I totally get the concept. Let’s copy something we saw in Camden Town and bring it to Leicester. Which is fine.. but if you’re going to charge Camden Town prices you’d better deliver Camden Town quality and service. Regardless, I didn’t go without my donut hit. Krispy Kreme in the Highcross is only 2 minutes away. Half the price, 10 times the quality. You guys need to up your game. Because even at £1.50 a donut you’re still way off the mark if the quality of what I had is anything to go by.

Literally the best doughnuts I have ever experienced. Beautiful dough, lovely colourful icings and most of them are vegan! Can't express how much I enjoyed these doughnuts, utterly delicious. Decent price for the euphoric, epiphany-inducing taste experience you get here.

Doughnuts are pretty much my favourite food, and this shop has a decent selection of quality doughnuts with mouthwatering flavours. Choosing a doughnut was pretty difficult, but I went with the red velvet, which looked and tasted amazing. The prices are pretty steep at £2-3 per doughnut but it makes a nice treat if you're feeling flush.

I visited the Doughnotts stand at the recent Leicester Vegan Festival event. I was surprised by the vast selection of vegan doughnuts they offered. Not the cheapest as with any vegan junk food but they tasted so great, I didn't miss the real thing! Great to hear that they have a shop in the city centre as well, i'll be back.

These are seriously the best doughnuts I’ve had! I love that they change them all the time so every time you go in you can try something new. The only reason not 5 stars is every time I’ve gone in the staff aren’t very friendly or helpful when you ask what the flavour of some doughnuts are as sometimes they have names that don’t explain it.

Visited doughnotts on a Tuesday. Place was empty... Staff unwelcoming almost felt like they didn't want to be there. The staff were least bothered to mention any offers. I wasn't aware tuesdays had an offer of all doughnuts same price. Went ahead and ordered £10 worth of standard doughnuts, gave the 20% off card but told it can't be used in conjunction with any other offer...rather than offering to swap some for premium doughnuts just had to pay full price with no discounts/offers. It is a shame about the staff attitude since the doughnuts are decent quality.

This store (and the concept) really needs a bit of attention. The product isn't bad, but the experience is really disappointing.

Visited on Saturday for a late breakfast. Great variety of huge doughnuts, including vegan ones. As we sat and ate our Nutella and white chocolate doughnuts people were popping in to buy snacks or collect preorders, so while it wasnt crowded it was busy. Lovely staff, good coffee, nice atmosphere.

They had so many vegan options that we walked away with a box of 9 vegan donuts.. all for under £20! I've been to another UK vegan donut store and it was more expensive for 6. So I think pricing is great, and they were really tasty!

Don't get me wrong my billionaire donut was yummy!! And worth the calories but they are slightly over hyped for what they are? I thought there would be more selection based on the Instagram posts. Also the snickers one didn't really taste anything like snickers!

Chunky funky tasty treats! These doughnuts are sooo good! It’s great to see the Silver Arcade being used. It’s not the cheapest but it’s definitely the best doughnut place in Leicester. The menu is extensive and changes regularly, drinks and seating are available too.

Always a great meal, to be had here, they serve tapas if you are not too hungry, but my friend and I had the pork belly which just melted I. Your mouth, the apple sauce was a great compliment along with the vegetables. Really enjoyed this meal. Their wine selection was also worth a look. Dessert, I had the Earl Grey cake which was a chocolate infused cake, with cream on the side, not being one who always eats dessert, this was a really good ending to the meal, as it was just the right texture and sweetness for me. 10 out of 10 Leinster Bistro keep it up.

We had a lovely Saturday lunch here. It was the first time we'd been here and weren't disappointed. The food quality was delicious and freshly cooked. I had a lovely vegetarian red thai curry, which was nice'n'spicy. My fellow diners had fish and chips, which was huge (whale and chips?) and the Middlesbrough parma, all with ample portions. For real ale fans, I had a nice pint of Directors, but there was also Wainwright's Gold on tap from the Lake District.

The food was so tasty and affordable. And the service was also really warm, exceptional and prompt. I will definitely be coming again. Thank you for the authentic home-made taste.

I came in today to have a full English breakfast and I was really disappointed in the cheap ingredients. The sausages were tasteless weren’t meat. Definitely vegan stuff. The bacon or turkey not sure what it was was dry and hard. The beans were basic 50p beans, two tasteless tomatoes, mushrooms definitely from a can as well. Absolutely nothing was seasoned, so technically I paid about £10 for a breakfast I would have had for £3 at home. Other than the food, staff seems to really dislike their job, I felt scared to ask questions lol, no smile, no positive attitude, you feel like you are bothering them. There was no welcome as well and no staff came to us during to ask how the food was and if we needed anything else. I in fact was so thirsty waiting for staff to come even just near me so I could ask for water but nobody ever came. I had to go all the way to the counter. Anyways.. a lot needs to be done to sort this out. It’s clean though at least
