Went out for a work meal The food was amazing The service was good but one colleague kept having to ask where her food was and the other one was overcharged so we had to get him money back but massive portions of tasty food for a decent price! Would eat here again.

Never had a bad meal at Dosa Hut, always top quality and the highest standards of service, friendliness and quality of food. The Dosas are always exceptional, along with Lamb Chops 😋 great at looking after larger groups, with space upstairs, look to book, so you are not disappointed. The best Indian restaurant in Wolverhampton for consistently delivering high quality and superb tasting food. Also does home delivery / takeaway and food is well packed.

Love the butter chicken here. Came here to for xmas meal in a large group. One person did’nt get her food until we all finished and we did’nt get a discount or an apology from management despite our requests. Waiting staff were great. Decent price. Bit crowded upstairs.

My husband and I came out for dinner while in Wolverhampton on holiday, and thought we would give this place a try as the food online looked delicious and interesting. We were not disappointed. ALL the staff who looked after us were lovely, chatty and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious. A fantastic experience that will be one of the highlights of our trip.

Great and unique Indian food, which is quite hard to do but these guys consistently do it.

Gret place to eat - my new favourite curry house.We stopped here on the way to a gig at Wolverhampton Civic Hall. I enjoyed it so much I'll be going to more concerts there now :-)

Disappointed with my recent visits. My wife ordered Mango lassi which did not taste anything like it should. Despite complaining a few times, nothing was done not even a apology. Also we were still finishing our starters when our mains arrived. We had to rush to finish and my main was taken away when I had not finished. There's another Dosa place in Chapel Ash and will be going there in future. Overall poor experience and poor customer service.

Food was okay. The staff doesn’t know how to treat customers no smile on face. I believe it was the manager who served us unacceptable customer skills for a manager.

South Indian food at its best, can it get any better?

Wonderful food, piping hot and fresh it was a busy Sunday night yesterday in Dosahut and guy said we can eat our food in Chai Galli next door where there was more room. The food has definitely improved and really enjoyed Dosahut experience.

I actually really like the plain dosa and the cheese dosa. However the last few times I've been we have had a bad after thought/reaction. Not sure maybe new chef. We like the chili chicken. Service is always very good. Best to always book a table as they are normally very busy at peek times. The table was way too small, food had been hanging off the table into my lap. But it's a busy place, the best way to accommodate as much as possible people. It won't be soon before I'll return, however I'm sure I will to have a dosa only.

Unbelievable gaff, slightly long wait but good dosa

A good indian restaurant at wolverhampton. I have visited twice. First day I have ordered onion utappam and mango Lassi Both are really. The portions are also big. I have ordered poori and medhu vada on the other day. Poori and curry are good. But Iam disappointed with the vada. They are very thick and the batter was not fried properly. I felt it was not properly fried due to the high thickness.

Yesterday i ordered kofta from here the kofta didn't felt like kofta it felt more like pakoda the layer was very hard it didn't felt fresh at all. I would appreciate if you could be able to make fresh kofta otherwise removing it from the menu would be a great option

Really busy food was delicious only down fall was people were coming in when no tables were available and standing over us waiting for a table whilst we eat. Felt rushed by the waiters as they wanted the tables empty but we wanted a dessert. Won't be going there in a rush.

Went today, had a reservation. Staff were really nice and welcoming, a really nice service. The dosas were very tasty and the manho lassi too. Would definitely recommend this place.

I ordered panner dosa and they gives us aloo dosa. Taste was soo bad and quality goes lower day by day.

We chose Dosa Hut to host a family member's special birthday party today and we couldn't recommend it enough. The food, service and atmosphere were all perfect and the team went above and beyond to ensure the whole party had an excellent time. The communication beforehand was great and Mark worked with us to make sure the vegetarian set menu worked well for us. The staff on the day were welcoming, helpful and were happy to help us wherever they could. Everyone left with full bellies and smiles on their faces. We would highly recommend this place for parties and functions. Thank you to the whole team for a lovely day.

As We Had Not Booked The Waiter Went Next Door To Chai Gali To Check If There Was Space For Us To Sit. I Refused As I Wanted The Atmosphere Of A Restaurant , Eventually He Put 2 Tables Together To Cater For The 4 Of Us. We Ordered Masala Dosa's And Although They Were Tasty I Later Questioned About An Essential Item Chutneys, They Had Forgot To Give It To Us With Our Meal The Waiter Apologised .For Such A Highly Rated Place This Is Not What I Should Experience

Been here on a few occasions over the past few years. Food and service has been generally OK but felt somewhat rushed and pushed to finish sooner on the recent visit. I love a good dosa and the dosa on my recent visit was poor...the mixture was almost the same consistency as porridge! Given the name you would expect your USP product of Dosa to be 10/10. Don't be sloppy on the food and taste - fix up and improve. I will return as I do like your other dishes but I expect better especially when my bill is normally £200+ each visit...

Food was good, service was a bit slow but that was due to the restaurant being really busy, however staff was friendly and I would recommend this place.

My favourite place in my hometown. The food is spectacular and cannot be faulted when compared to these big names and places. Just one criticism would be that the poppadoms never come with enough chutney and no onions. However, please keep providing great food!

Starters were great.. unfortunately mains were a great disappointment. Despite being different dishes all tasting the same. Order was wrong leaving one of our party without food whilst remaining members had food. Service was poor, tables left with clutter and plates too long. Having been here previously and had such a great experience with both food and service this was a great disappointment.

Unpleasant Experience at Dosa Hut I recently visited Dosa Hut with my family, and unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. We ordered the classic Indian dessert ras malai, expecting the usual white presentation. To our surprise, we were served kesar rasmalai, which has a distinct yellow color. When we inquired about this unexpected change, we were informed that it has always been served this way. Despite this, we decided to give it a try. Regrettably, my aunt found the kesar rasmalai unappealing after trying a tiny piece. In light of our dissatisfaction, we requested a refund and expressed our disappointment at not being given the option to choose between the kesar rasmalai and the traditional ras malai. Unfortunately, the situation took an unpleasant turn when the manager engaged in an argument and, shockingly, slammed a glass on our table, insisting we pay for the dessert. This incident was not only disheartening but also reflected poorly on the professionalism and customer service at Dosa Hut. A lack of clear communication and a manager's disrespectful behavior left us with a negative impression I do not recommend us as a family have spent hundreds with them each time being worse and worser.bare in mind all this was caused over a simple ras malai. In the end we made it clear we would not pay for it. Unfortunately this was not the first time an inconvenience has occurred. I hope this review serves as constructive feedback for the management to address these issues promptly and ensure a more positive experience for future customers.

Great food as always at reasonable prices. Food quality is pretty good and very tasty for sure.

Well , we had Chole bhature and the quality was very poor and even the price was high in comparison to the quality. I don't recommend anybody and i think i wasted my money here.

All the food we had was tasty and fresh. We ordered both south and north Indian cuisine. Definitely recommend. An authentic dining experience.

My first experience on dosa hut and its really amazing i love the food especially the dosa was such a delicious.It was a great resturant would definitely recommend.I went on Saturday at 7pm the food was really good with lot of options in menu.And a waitress whose name is .....i got confused may be (sooreta) sorry if its wrong .she is soo beautiful and have soft and sweet voice.From beginning to end i looked to her and somehow talk with her such a sweet lady.

Only tried the dosa and wrap. Both were really good. Fresh flavours and something different to any Indian I've tasted before. Must try if you're Indian food fan.

Coming from the westcountry we didn't know what to expect... but we went with the reviews, it was fab ..the flavours in the food (medium spicey korma) was authentic, and whilst not the cheapest, was well worth it and not 'expensive '. Really nice staff.

Had my husbands 60th birthday lunch at Dosa Hut ..it was a hit with all our guests . Food fantastic and Mark the manger always very attentive. The staff are totally friendly and customer focused. The food phenomenal.. A great atmosphere. 👍

Attentive staff, butter chicken was very tasty, not dry. Bhatura was very enjoyable alongside it.

I didn't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. I have given 5 stars all around not due to it being a fancy surrounding with Michelan star food - but because it was good, honest food, served in a clean pleasant environment by lovely staff. The chicken palaki and lamb bhuna were delicious. The naan and tandoori roti hot and tasty. It really was a lovely experience and I look forward to returning. Very reasonably priced too.

The manager should take his attitude to home.. I would never ever go to this place.. why they are acting like doing a favour to customers.. zero customer service.. extremely disrespectful and rude behaviour.. I wish I could give negative star.. highly disappointed.

The service was top drawer for my grandad's 94th Birthday. We were made to feel welcome. The food was high quality and tasty. Some of the veg options were less compelling. I would recommend a visit.

If you've never tried a "dosa" then this is a must. Just five minutes out of wolves town center.

Not the best dosa I have ever had. I found it a bit bland. The daal was ok though. Overall if you're looking for proper south Indian food I would suggest going elsewhere.

I’m sure the food is great but the moron of a driver for your restaurant in an 18 plate van on the a483 tailgated my car and tried to undertake me despite the speed limit being regulated by speed cameras was an absolute douchebag.

How disappointing, we went with a party of 3. The staff member who say us down was miserable. The chap who took our order didn't know the menu, and then the food was mediocre. They have become normal.

Food was okay our waitress was good but Manager is really rude I don’t think he knows how to speak to his customers we were served out of date Coke and he didn’t even come to us to apologise for it. They really need to work on their people skills.

The restaurant is small and spacing is tight. It was extremely busy with a constant stream of people coming in to collect take-away orders. We were given a table situated next to the bar and till area, so were right in the path of the thoroughfare and had to endure people standing over us whilst we were eating. There is a seating area upstairs which is accessed by walking past the bar area, so we also had that thoroughfare to deal with.After being seated at our table it took around 20 minutes before anyone came to take our order for drinks. We were still looking at the menu (which is vast) when our drinks arrived another 20 minutes later. We ordered our food but again it was around half an hour before we received our starter. People who come in after us were served and had there meals before we did, at times we felt invisible. Staff were not very welcoming or attentive, there was nothing personal about the service received.The front door opens straight into the restaurant so due to the constant thoroughfare, we had to sit eating with our coats on because it was so cold. Very disappointing, we will not be returning any time soon.

What a service in less than 15 minutes of my order I receive my food . Hot and delicious Asked a server to add top up but server was busy took bit time but Taran took over and did asked how’s the food and need anything and sorted me .I been eating dosa hut food from 2 years no complaints about food .But today I’m impressed about there quick service too I just had a idli sambar amazing We always forget to thank one person who is chef I don’t know ur name chef but thanks millions for feeding us a great food .An thanks Taran bar and Restraunt staff and team God bless and good luck Virinder desor

The food was nice but starter portions are small. The main issue is 90 minute time limit to have drink with poppadoms to relax, enjoy starters, mains and then a dessert. This is ridiculous and ruined our evening as we felt we had to rush eating the food. Also it is our first visit to the restaurant and we were not informed of this on the phone during booking the restaurant. 2 hours as a minimum is reasonable if informed during booking.

Today we went to dosa hut but would really appericaite the staff except the manager as we order chicken tikka masala and we found it same taste as butter chicken we just shared our reviews with staff all staff was very good but when they call manager he was so arrogant and didnt want to listen whats the issue he was arrogant and this rating is only for manager not for food or rest staff. Being a manager he should listen to the reviews of the coustmer instead of arguing m. Manager needs to inprove the coustmer treating skills poor manager

Very rude pushy staff, got told only allowed 2 hours to eat for party of 13 people and had to leave by a certain time. Waiters kept trying to clear plates whilst we were eating. Soft drinks were flat, complained and they didn't care. Very poor customer service and food was average.
