The owner, Bobby, did not pay any of his staff before he closed for "refurbishment". If he ever opens again, which I doubt he will, I would avoid this place.

The owner still owes thousands in unpaid wages to all his staff. He claims he's shutting for a refurbishment when in actuality he can't afford to, and doesn't know how to, run a business.

We used to spend many evenings here before a night out. Loved the light bite tapas menu, atmosphere was great too. However past few years it changed - the menu got smaller and the opening times too which was a shame. Last orders for food 7:30 on a Friday. Heard they are having a refurbishment so hoping it is going to be amazing again and please bring back the light bites/ tapas menu.

What a lovely member of staff. So warm and welcoming and helpful in selecting the gluten free options ( I’m coeliac ) and she went the extra mile. So much so we went back the following night for cocktails and she remembered us well. A genuine lady.

Disappointing experience. Opening times didn’t match the ones advertised on the website. No vegan option on the menu. Poor service. What happened? It used to be great before covid! I wouldn’t bother again.

First time we’ve visited. Owner was kind enough to squeeze the 5 of us in. Menu was very different as it contains a mix of Asian inspired food, but also a selection of traditional English breakfast meals, such as eggs royale, eggs Benedict, full English breakfast, which are available until 5pm. We had 3 x Asian style tapas as starters which were really enjoyable, but our mains were a mix of Asian and English breakfast style meals. I ordered the fish pakora wrap and my son the tandoori chicken wrap, which came with a side portion of veg pakoras - the pakoras are really good and the wraps were pretty good. Unfortunately the eggs Benedict and eggs royale were a flop. When they arrived I instantly felt sorry for the 3 members of my family who had ordered them, as they did not look at all inspiring. The muffins weren’t toasted so were essentially just bread, bacon had been used in the eggs Benedict and this was not browned, so looked pale pink with the fat not at all crispy and the hollandaise was apparently quite bland. All 3 diners were disappointed and I can understand why just looking at their food. When the bill was brought over the staff member didn’t ask if we had enjoyed our food (but I think they may have overheard us talking and knew we were disappointed), so I encouraged my husband to give feedback when he paid the bill, but he said they didn’t seem particularly interested. We paid the bill in full and left. Would we return?? Possibly, but only for the Asian tapas (which ranged from £8-£10 ish for a tiny plate, so quite expensive)! Overall we all found the menu confusing and it took us a while to choose, the food was hit and miss, the majority of the staff seemed disinterested, combined with the lack of interest with our feedback, etc. The young lady who served us though was a total sweetheart (although it was a different person who brought the bill). Maybe give this place a try but stick to the Asian dishes. I’d give 3 and a half stars but I can’t give half and definitely not a 4.

Lovely bar but very slow in kitchen. Order taken quickly but over 30 mins for food and it wasn't busy. However was worth the wait. Very good chicken curry and dhal. Ads were in the window for kitchen staff so could be why.

This restaurant, as well as having an intriguing name, has an interesting menu. Our waiter gave us lots of information about the dishes and we were pleased with the choices she recommended, despite a couple of options being unavailable. We liked the tapas style/sharing platters. Very reasonable prices too.

Wow factor eastern fusion. Who'd of thought it scrambled eggs, smoked salmon the chana dahal combined would be the one? Hubby loved it. I had the just ready for evening service seafood Risotto just right chef knows how to blend flavours. Service great especially as we'd arrived between lunch and dinner servings. Looks closed from outside, luckily we tried the door and entered a very cool bar/restaurant. Thanks!

Grab a nice pint of Saltaire Blonde and try the excellent bar food including Punjabi Nachos, lush! Decent breakfast too.

No welcome despite the place being quiet and ample staff stood chatting to each other which continued throughout my visit. Drinks not particularly great... where is the pride gone in your business? This was once a great bar, sadly wouldn’t return. Decor dated, staff non attentive and drinks not up to scratch.

I am incredibly dissapointed, i am a usual customer here as i can never praise this establishment enough, however that all changed today! I cannot express my dissapoinment enough, there was something off with the dishes and cutlery. I'm not sure what was new yet it was disgusting, there was left over food smothering the plates. Whoever was washing those plates needs a stern talking to - if not an immediate termination of their employment. If this does not happen just know one thing, you have lost a once loyal customer and if this trend keeps i fear to say that your company may go under.

Awful man behind the bar, wouldn’t allow a handheld legally registered support dog in even though it’s against disability laws. His staff tried to tell him it was disability discrimination and he wouldn’t listen.

A very enjoyable dining experience. The staff were very friendly, helpful and responsive and the menu had an interesting range of choices. Four of us shared six tapas dishes, all of which were delicious and flavourful. A very good option for dining in the historic centre of Saltaire

Tasty Sunday Roast this afternoon at Dont tell Titus. Special shoutout to our waitress Abbie as she was very pleasant and catered to all our needs.

Excellent visit Lovely food and staff. Very welcoming for a family meal. We enjoyed all the dishes. Some excellent cocktails and a nice pint of Saltaire blonde.

I am writing this review after visiting Dont Tell Titus with friends in May 2023. Before the review I will add that I have contacted the business via email on 28 May to try discuss this, which got no response. I visited the restaurant on Friday 26th May for evening food with my friends. Both myself and my friend had the Indian tasting meat plate which consisted of a number of curries and sides. We are the food which appeared fine, however within 12 hours both began to suffer with severe food poising symptoms. I took advice from a doctor after these did not stop for 7 days, where it was agreed that food positing appeared the course. This was supported by my friend also eating the same dish, and having identical symptoms. This was the most ill I have ever been after consuming food. I have attached a picture of the food to prove I dined here and is not a malicious review. I would not recommend eating here and would certainly avoid.

I used to love this place when visiting family in Yorkshire & had many lovely meals here in the past. Unfortunately the new ‘host’ door guy they have introduced has on two separate occasions been rude to our family & we won’t bother trying to eat here again. My sister had told me that the last time she tried to eat here, the French guy at the door was abrupt, rude and dismissive when she politely asked if there might be a chance of a table. On this visit, I opened the door to the same man & a pretty empty room. I could see only two reservations written in his book. I asked if a table was available for 3 adults and 3 children. He asked if we had a reservation and I said no. He then started to look us up and down and asked if we were eating. I said yes told him we’d only be around an hour as I had a train to catch. He said ‘no then, sorry, the food is cooked fresh so that won’t work for me’! I asked him to explain and he repeated that the food takes 25 minutes to cook, so we wouldn’t ne served within an hour and again, ‘so that won’t work for me’. I’m unsurprised the place was quiet on an otherwise packed bank holiday Monday. Just to mention, I’ve eaten here a couple of times on the way to catch a train and eating within an hour has never been an issue. I’m embarrassed on behalf of the poor staff behind him, gathered in a group behind the empty bar. I’d advise the owners to look for new staff if they hope to remain in business going forward.

What a great place. There was four of us for lunch, we weren't sure what to order so decided on a variety of tapas dishes. Waitress very helpful with advice on how many to order and which ones. They were all delicious and exactly the right amount, we were all stuffed but hadn't left a scrap in any of the dishes. Outstanding. Will definitely visit again next time we're in the area

Had lunch with friends varied menu with an Asian theme. A couple of locally brewed ales and plenty of other alcoholic and soft drinks . Our server was friendly and welcoming and didn’t rush us over a lengthy lunch. Ordered a sharing starter of popadoms with humous then everyone had a different main which was all very tasty. A couple had puddings a fruit crumble with cardamom crème anglais and choc fudge which finished us off. Quite a pleasant venue. Good staff and food.

Absolutely shocking!! Booked a table for 4 at 4 o clock to get there and be told there was nothing apart from vegan available on the menu as they had a busy lunch time, no notification of this and we had travelled 15 mile to get there will not be visiting again

The Indian infusion food here is good. Good choice of high quality beer and wines. However, expensive. £30 a head while drinking soft drinks. Could do with quieter music so you can sit and chat

It was busy so we waited half an hour to order food, which was fine. Staff were pleasant and place was well presented. Once ordered, our food took a long time to come (eggs florentine x2), and when it did arrive it was cold, and the hollandaise was like water. Way too focused on presentation instead of quality. My neighbours said they had the same experience. Disappointed. :(

Been a while since we called in to Don't Tell Titus. A little something got in the way! Had arranged to meet up with a group of friends just before Christmas and decided on a lunchtime get together. We were informed that there was a new menu and, when we looked at it, we thought that the options had expanded. We all looked at light lunches and elected to try a variety of egg dishes and wraps. Service was friendly and allowed us time to make our choices without any pressure. Hot drinks were ordered and soon brought to the table. Everyone commented on the tasty food, all of which was lightly spiced. The egg dishes were praised as being delicious and the wraps were generously filled. All in all a good experience and it won't be long before we return.

Lovely and welcoming - we had a large group of 9 walkers and decided to try this place out, without advance booking, and they were very accommodating. Some minor issues with lukewarm hot drinks and not having enough mugs for large drinks so some of us had smaller sizes than we ordered, but these could be expected with a large spontaneous group table. Brilliant menu. We tried the tapas. The toad in the hole was almost a meal in itself, the cambert with mango chutney was delicious and the halloumi fries were excellent. Superb and enthusiastic service. Definitely worth a visit. And Salts mill wasn't bad either!

It was a very cold day. There was no heating on at all . I tried to warm up with a cup of tea and failed. 1 couple left after 1 drink. Another couple arrived well wrapped up.didnt open their coats at all. I Left and walked down to the boathouse. Warmth phew .

We've walked past several times on our visits to Saltaire, and decided to try it today. We hadn't looked at the menu before but what a surprise! Amazing Indian breakfast and a few new twists on classics. Beautifully cooked with subtle spices. The only downside was the Gurja Halwa was sold out,but we shall definitely be returning to try it out.

I haven't visited for some time, and was very pleasantly surprised by the delicious food. We shared poppadoms, pakoras and pickles with two small portions of curry, some dal, and bread. Everything was really tasty and good value. We'll be going again.

A great authentic experience!! Amazing trendy place!! Across road to Salts Mill. Beautiful clean interior & welcomihg staff. I loved the menu & tantalising dishes on display. A must try when venturing in this picturesque vicinity. We were looked after very well & served with a smile. Our fish was succullent, not over spicy & the salad was freshly prepared. There is a great bar serving a selection of alcoholic drinks & it’s good to know that halal food is served here. A truly enjoyable wonderful afternoon 10/10

Disappointing. Made a reservation yesterday for 4pm, only to wait 10 minutes to be seen to, and to be told that 3/4 of the menu is not available. We went for a Sunday roast and left without eating as they only had small meals available. They claimed to have been busy, however the restaurant was half empty on arrival and surely if you know how many booking youre getting that day you'd make sure to have in enough food. Would not try again nor recommend.

Went to dont tell titus, as a fussy eater i was fairly sceptical, however, the new lady head chef worked to my needs with no qualms and it was amazing. Definately worth another visit and i would recommend to any individual visiting saltaire 🙂

Went today for a light lunch, I had the the chicken tikka wrap, normally not a fan of wraps, but this one had been griddled and it made such a difference to the texture, the wrap was stuffed full of tasty chicken and salad bit, served with a mint yogurt dressing, and pieces of vegetable pakora , such a nice change from chips !
