Donington Park in North West Leicestershire

Just been here on our way home from a trip to London, was really nice, freshly cooked juicy chicken. Best KFC I've had in a long time. Service was touch screens but guy who served us our food was chirpy enough. Only problem was, was to say the services was quiet the tables were quite dirty, but can't blame KFC for that as I think the tables and chairs are shared by all the units.

Terrible! I stopped (this eve 9/9/24) craving my kfc fix, long journey ahead. Use my rewards app. This was by far the worst, also not warm. I went back as. I had paid to upgrade via the terminal to a large meal (fries and drink) I was told this is a large fries, shocking.live kfc, but these staff consistency and standards let you massively down.

Good food nothing wrong with anything just wait time was a bit long for fast food but it is a service so.. u can't really except the lines to be super quick but other than that everything was great the food was the right temp and really good I got the zinger burger box and everything was good!

Ordered a bargain bucket and 8 out of the 10 pieces were legs

My god they are officially the slowest KFC. I am writing this out of shear boredom after 20 minutes standing in the queue like everyone else. There seems to be just 2 staff. I really feel sorry for the guy out front . This is not acceptable KFC !! The picture is of people who have bee waiting even longer !

If these could all be 1 star they would. Had to wait ages for my food, they forgot my popcorn chicken which i had to go back for when i finally got home to eat my dinner the chicken looked and felt raw the beans were hard. Not happy at all £27 wasted

Gregg's  We stopped for breakfast here and had several choices to make. We opted for here as we do like the coffee. And accompanied this with a bacon sandwich. Great deal and great coffee and buttie! We will stop here again as it was a newer services, with lots of spaces.  Good services as well - clean toilets etc for weary travellers to use.

One young man at the till serving people with a smile. A busy queue, but very polite and helpful with customers. I've not received my order yet, but wanted to post this regarding service with a smile. Thank you Alfie.

A reasonable motorway service station.

Wez on front was professional, approachable and friendly. Happy to make amends to orders. Friendly lad, 10/10 attitude, exactly what you want when you're ordering fast food. Was having a bad day, he made it better.

One of the worst experience ever... took around 20 min to prepare burger, bites and coffee. Where in meantime, chicken bucket meals was flying out of the till.

One of the best KFCs I've been too. Food was delicious and services was great !

It's a KFC the same as all the others except more expensive because it's at a motorway service station

Great motorway stop. Also good for locals if they want a Cornish Pasty.

A clean venue, but the speed at which they work is slow and dead slow. Food was acceptable and warm, but the staff serving clearly didn't want to be at work. I mentioned the poor service and was told it would be addressed. Usually I have really good experiences at Moto locations and the stores within sadly this wasn't tk be on this visit.

A great place to stop and refresh on long journeys and good food to eat in or takeaway

Donington Services has been completely rebuilt since my last visit. Now it's a nice open space with plenty of light and room.

Overpriced and quite a few bits on the menu, not available...Asked for a coffee as my drink?, only to be told "the coffee machine is broken and to come back tomorrow"..Not really an option is it !!!!

A little overcooked, can get busy. Other than that, ok.

service was good... but they give out such a small fillet for the price 😓 Prices have gone up, and burgers have become smaller

Good choice of outlets and reasonably priced for a service area

The worst thing about our visit was having an employee being reviewed by her manager and area supervisor at the table next to us. As well as being extremely humiliating for the employee to be reviewed in public, it was incredibly distasteful to hear the details of the 9 number 1 scores being discussed whilst we were eating our dinner! Extremely poor behaviour from the area manager or whoever conducted the interview.

Ordered 10pcs original recipe chicken, disappointed that got 9 pcs drums for £18.99. How can I do a complaint for this?

Not worth stopping for this KFC Self order not working and after 15min wait I find out what they out of food at 19.00 Waisted half an hour

Food came out really slow. 35 minute wait. Maybe they weren't prepared for a Saturday evening rush.

No clear signs about opening times. We had experience of this expensive outlet on our way back around 5 in the evening

I would like to thank the staff member at KFC Donington Services for giving me the chance to try the Burger King Chimichurri Gourmet King burger. I had intended to order a box meal from KFC but all 4 of the order machines were out of service, so I stood in front of the counter waiting to be served for at least five minutes while being ignored by the person behind the counter before I gave up and walked across to the other side of the food hall. Take note, KFC, even after I'd used Burger King's order machines that were actually working, the staff behind the counter asked me if I was waiting to order from them while I stood in front of them waiting. It's called customer service.

I've never seen a dirty restaurant like this one. You could see the staff were overworked, Clearly, they were short staffed. Had to ask for a cloth and disinfectant to wipe the table down myself.

Only two orders screens working. All others offline. Mobile app ordering also offline. Queue at counter, one till. Gave up. 7pm

Keep telling myself never again KFC ..

The best poison in the world 🤣🤣🤣compared with any kind of junk food About staff...all the shop have mixed nationality but most of the staff they are Indian, muslim, Thailand or Mongolian something like this, the problem is not the nationality, the problem is they looking sad and I don't know..to disturbed them with my wished or to go out. Management .....trading them to smile to be kind, to be fun, to make people to cam there and feel comfortable, not to run people when they see them face.

Came to meet a family member and had some food. Luckily I noticed the time I came in as you only get 2 free hours parking. I was 15 minutes over this and the minimum parking I could pay was for 24hrs at £15!!! Absolutely shocking… £7.50 and hour to park

Nice succulent chicken🐔 With an exquisite batter, Crispy & Fresh👌 Any Critic would agree, the sauces taste home-made! Service was second to non, Served politely inc smile👍 (Happy with that, Thankyou very much!) And to end, the Atmosphere!! Unbelievably tranquil and pleasant, KFC Donnington Park! I will most certainly be visiting you again, my friend Sèè thèè soon🤗🍗🍟🍔🥤

Motorway services, quite a good one.

As with most motorway services, the prices are a little high, but the food was fresh and hot, and the service was fast, so it met the needs

Very slow service, but food up to normal (great) quality.

You need to order two hours ahead! Don't come here when you're hungry. Absolutely outrageous to wait more than 30 minutes for your order while there are no clients. On top of that, items from your order are missing all the time. When asking at the counter for your missing items, they are trying to explain it's your fault you haven't ordered properly. After 20 minutes they started to hand over orders. They were probably placed two-three hours ahead.

Food up to the usual good standard I'd expect. Hence 4* Bit slow (later orders arrived first: suspect they forgot the rice or something tbh; but better late than never). However, no spoon provided for the ice cream. When requested, met with an attitude of couldn't care less... "we haven't got any & there's nothing I can do - you'll have to use a fork" Hence 1*!

Meal tasted like it was warmed up in the microwave - Chicken was soggy. Bought the meals and hit back motor would have chucked it back to them.

Would never consider eating here.

Had a look for a non-meat options at KFC, Burger King, the pastie shop, Greggs, etc. and was very disappointed at the lack of choice. Unlike other locations I have been to, the choice here for a vegetarian or vegan meal is very poor.

Service took too long for a place where there were no queues on the tills. The staff were not interested in serving amd when they did it was at their leisure.

Ok about what one could expect but not as good or as clean as Moto's Rugby services

Really frustrating their online ordering is not working, and so hard to use app rewards. The staff do a good job, however they lack some products such as sauces all the time. But overall the meal was pleasant and cannot be faulted

Didn't have the wrap available, so I opted for a burger instead, which was ok. However, when we asked where the drink was that came with the meal, we were given a 'crushem's' and was told the drinks machine was broken...didn't even ask for a 'crushem's' 🤷‍♀️

Love a KFC, ordered 2 tier box meals and an original recipie salad box.

We had the trilogy box meal we looked for hot wings but there were no hot wings at all on the menu. I was shocked by looking at the menu that there are no hot wings at all.

Just stopped for a comfort break. The loos were clean and free of smells. Costa coffee needed more staff - being lunch time most were off duty having lunch it seemed! The coffee was OK.

Staff weren't very welcoming, got our order wrong.

Ordered food. Was told no soft drinks because machine in cleaning cycle - another colleague came & said no machine broken awaiting engineer obviously lack of communication. Burgers came cold. Chips were hot but onion rings were rubbery as if they'd been sitting around for ages. >£15 for a basically inedible meal. Was told that staff were frustrated with situation - not as much as possible customers who were voting with their feet.

Staff pleasant and usually quite quick to get your order when I visit. However, I have never got everything that I ordered. On one occasion the only thing they got right when ordering a boneless family meal was the drink and chips, everything else was wrong

Waiting to order to pay with cash at the till the poor lad on front counter was doing his best getting stuff together for all the orders from touch screens I waited 5/10 and walked away without placing an order

Visited when I was taking my daughter back to Sheffield University. The food as usual was excellent, but because there was only one young girl serving the food took a very long time to come. Its a shame because I like a good KFC.

Dreadfull, Slow and nasty. Ate last Monday.Both my wife and I have been very very poorly since Wednesday. Will never dare eat a KFC again

Touchscreen ordering was broken, so had to order at the counter. The service was friendly and fast, although the young man serving me bemoaned the fact that he was there, but it couldn't be helped by Food was served fairly quickly. My Tower Fillet burger was good. My chicken leg and chips were soggy, rather crispy and the chips also overcooked, which seems pretty hard to achieve, given they were soggy. I'd guess that the fryer wasn't up to temperature, so left in longer to compensate.

Kfc without the crunch! Not the best kfc I've ever had, should have gone to a different outlet, there were several to choose from.

The whole place was dirty. Tables not cleared, old food on the floor. A general lack of care for the place was missing..

Stopped here twice now when travelling on motorway- never seems too crowded although fills up over lunchtime - sometimes not all the order screens work, but the counter staff happy to take orders. Food so far always hot and fresh. No complaints.

Had zinger burger meal. It looked sad and the chicken burger was 10% chicken 90% coating and was just slapped on the bun and looked a mess. Freshly made but looked old and withered. Fries was cold and floppy. Had better microwave burgers for 1.99. I would rather of had a Dixy chicken. Kfc are not that good anywhere now a days. Just a money grabbing franchise with no care.

Good staff good food can't ask for anything more out the place

Gravy was like dishwater, things missing from my order, wasn't even busy when I ordered, 3 or 4 orders infront of mine. Mark and avoid this one.

Absolutely terrible, half an hour for two wrap meals. Then when they eventually came out they were missing the chips. "they're just coming out now" when I asked. One of the half (at best) full bags had just 14 chips in it. And the Pepsi max was cherry Pepsi. We were past caring by that point. People were coming and going in about ten minutes while I stood waiting. We cleaned our own table before we sat down and never saw anyone clearing the rest in the hour we were there. Shambles Why can't you leave no stars? They don't deserve the one!

Stupidly busy due to lack of staff, sold a rice box meal by the young lady on the counter,waited 20 minutes to be then told they had no rice 🤔 substituted with another meal, all this aside still better than over priced burger king.

I love KFC. I really do. I've eaten at hundreds of them . This pains me. This one is rubbish. The food was warm, at best. Very sad......nuff said....

Awful experience gave us wrong order mum hates spicy food but have her supercharger then gave 2 pound refund when its 3.98 chips cold and poor quality compared to other kfcs

Travelled 80 miles to get to it and was told the kitchen was closed. Shutters went down before 5pm on a Saturday. Staff were courteous.

Went to get something to it at it was closed at 20:45hrs, some people work late and are travelling late hours, this is a disgrace.

As per other reviews terrible service and closed when they're meant to be open.

Waited 15 mins at the till to be ignored whilst she tried to keep up with sending food orders out while other people were ordering off the machines behind me heard them beeping taking payments but I had a food voucher so I needed a human. How a big chain is so badly run is beyond me. Burger king it was for me

30 min wait for a wrap! That was hard and cold 🙈
