Never really seems busy, food is OK.

Had two ‘Create Your Own’ meals for £8.99 and was delicious. Had only one meat which was the chicken but nonetheless was delicious. Me and my friend had flatbreads and onion, tomato and lettuce, both having tzatziki and my friend having garlic & chilli also. Gyros were delicious, filled you up, tzatziki was great too. Great selection of drinks & right next to The Rock and Mill Gate Shopping Centre parking. Would come here again, thank you!!

Order a donner pocket which was served with just one slice of donner ridiculous. Was refused a refund . And told they have to weigh the donner before serving. Total disgrace and she even took the food back and refused to refund me . Clearly just one strip of donner. When down the road dixy u can get a full donner muffin for the exact same price . With. Drink for 5.50 if there was a option to rate zero star I would do zero

I ordered doner with chips and there was very less meat but more chips. The old technique used by many shops to make more profit. The meal was £8.78 which I think was overpriced if u look at the quantity of doner.

We order here around once a week and every single week you forget to put something in its either the sauces or the fries which you have done tonight we ring up week after week to explain and we get told oh we have left them on the side sorry well that's not good enough as this is week after week we keep ordering hoping this will change you should be checking orders properly and giving people what they paid for I never ever write reviews but I felt like I needed to as you have done the same thing again

I recently visited Döner & Gyros in Bury and had a generally pleasant experience. The place was clean and the staff were very friendly, which made for a welcoming atmosphere. The food was served nicely and the kebab itself was enjoyable. However, for the price paid, I found the portions to be on the smaller side, with a bit too much salad compared to the meat. While it was a nice kebab, the portion size might deter me from returning. Overall, a mixed experience.

Made order at 6.05pm finally got food at 8.14pm. Kept pushing the delivery time back. If you want fast food dont order from here!

Doner meal, hot, fresh and absolutely lovely. 100% I'll be back.... Could have been a little more meat than salad but overall a great lunch. Thanks Guy's

Before going to the cinema, we called in Doner &Gyros, Bury Lancashire, first time in there, and it won’t be the last, had a spicy burger, with Chips, damn that burger was probably the best burger I have had in a long time, was not expensive, the service was good, with a smile, and a relaxing atmosphere, Well worth a visit.

Been a few times and always very good. Today was different. Has management changed? My granddaughter got bones in her chicken. Asked no spice but had raw chillies on it🤷‍♂️ Falafel was awful and salad which was all lettuce. Will not be going again.

Shame they have removed rice bowls from the menu

Ordered quesadillas and should probably have known better :-/ it wasn’t beef tasting but not actually textured like beef. It tasted slimy, greasy and far too spicy - without any of the authentic Mexican flavours. I’ve offered the meat to my dog and he doesn’t want it either.

ordered and was at my door 20 mins later. prompt, hot and quicker than expected. meal was really nice. great flavour and just the right amount of spice. packed full of meat and the bread is awesome. takeaway Friday dinners might have found a new home. one of the best meals we've had in a while. well done all.

Disappointed, sadly. Arrived fast and hot. But the Aloha wrap had no lettuce mushroom or pineapple in.. no idea what it was? Not what we ordered. The doner burger isn’t really a burger, its a doner sandwich there’s no burger. We ordered Banoffee icecream and got mango. And the cheesy chips are shocking. Barely half a portion of lank fries for £3! And irs not cheese…. Its some orange sauce. Very disappointed.

Ordered via Uber eats for delivery on 16/08/2024 I would say the waffle fries portion at the price of £2.95 is not value for money, however they are tasty The Dönermite fries if had been upgraded to waffle fries would have been excellent but standard chips in base, however choosing the mixed meats was a good choice and the condiments used complimented the flavour Would recommend m, especially when offers are available ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I never write reviews but I had to after my recent order. The food was delivered in 15 mins! Came hot. Portion was perfect. Some reviews on here complaining about not enough meat well I'll let my picture speak for itself. Every part of the wrap was delicious. I almost let the bad reviews deter me but I'm really glad they didn't.

Went there with my family, place is clean, service was excellent not to mention the food was great! Definitely worth the visit.

I ordered out so can't comment on the actual place but I ordered the Berlin doner and it took me back to being in Berlin for 2 years! It was phenomenal and I would recommend to everyone and will not order from anywhere else in the future. Fantastic

Food is great and service is quick. The restaurant interior is modern, stylish and clean. I can't think of any other place in Bury that offers what Donor and Gyros offers. Edit: I have noticed that portion sizes have dropped in recent visits and this has affected my review score.

By far the most incompetent service I have ever received, esecially for a newish takeaway. My second visit and only half my order when I get it home but still paid for items their on BOTH OCCASSIONS. Are you ripping customers off or are your staff just STUPID?? I could shave my dogs a*** and teach her to walk backwards, and then put an apron on her and she will still get my order better than your team in Bury? I probably won't use them a third time now but if I ever do, I will charge my grooming kit!

For a dine in fast food place this was lovely. Bought a doner meal and a gyros meal and it came to less than £20 and was MASSIVE. Really nice staff, loads of sides. Just a lovely place to get absolutely stuffed.

ordered mexical falafel flatbread but got nome of the fillings other than falafel a bit of houmous and a tiny bit of lettuce, no cheese sauce, no jalapeños. Chicago mix gyros was mediocre. We won't be ordering again.

Döner & Gyros in Bury is absolutely fantastic! Clair at the till is super friendly and efficient. The food is amazing, especially the döner kebabs and gyros. Definitely deserves a five-star rating! It's the perfect spot for a delicious meal in Bury!

It's the first time I have ever given a 1 star review. I went for the berlin doner for 7.99, a few mouthfuls and it was gone. It comes served in half a pitta bread rather than a full one. Very little meat filling and although seasoned with a chilli sauce, was very dry. The smallest kebab I have ever seen at the most expensive price I have ever paid for a kebab.

Ordered through just eat, part of the order didn’t arrive, I phoned the restaurant and they said I need to contact just eat, no where on the website or app for me to call, unless I get a full refund within 3 business days I will never use you again.

Do not order from here at night using Just Eat. They accepted my order and after I waited for 20 minutes they cancelled it - unreliable!

walk in nice and warm.place having food ...it was cold outside..food was nice.. could do with more meat...service was ok.then a kitchen staff opened the front door....place was cold ..i closed the door. and 5 minutes later he's opened the door again.... don't like my food getting cold..and eating in the cold then another customer closed the door. then a staff open the door again..now the other customer not happy sitting in the cold draft..and close the door again..bit anoying

We ordered Chicken Donar platter with extra chicken meat and a Berlin Donar. Food was good amd hot but seems a bit expensive as compared to Original German Donar. But a very nice addition to halal food options at Bury the Rock.

I enjoy doner kebab and they gave me free big 6 spring rolls (was a bit too oily) as ordered for more than £20. The only one thing I asked for 1 mix meat doner and another chicken and got both mixed meet.

We ordered Doner Platter Beef and Berlin Dinner Beef, and a portion of chilli sauce they were prepared quite quickly, but upon tasting the beef it became apparent that it had been kept warm for hours, tasted dry ,chewy, and bland. The portion of chilli sauce that came was less than a teaspoon for 25p!! I don't usually write negative reviews,but felt I needed to warn others, not to waste their money, as it wasn't cheap either. Would not feed a dog their food. The worst food we have ever attempted to eat. It all went in the bin. Absolutely rancid. I'll be surprised if this is still open in 6 months!

So Tonight*Christmas eve) we ordered 1x Beef Kebab with chips, 1x Chicken Kebab with Chips and 1x quesadilla with chips. I have to be honest the food was very bland, Tiny portions for the price you are paying, Restaurant/Take away was clean, Friendly staff and great service but honestly the portions are tiny with very little meat and just left us still feeling hungry. We won't be returning as honestly we can get better from local Kebab shops for a fraction of the price. Take away looks the part but honestly don't waste your time or your money. 1☆

Bury, avoid Doner & Gyro like a rogue jalapeño in your pocket! I ordered two Doner boxes online, promised a trio of sauces for some flavour fireworks. Instead, I got dry doner and fries and not a single sauce in sight. False advertising and major disappointment. Don't waste your taste buds and delivery fees on this flavourless fiasco. I even found pieces of wood in the food. Food was also over-priced. Half the box. Had the chicken grand wrap, tasted amazing, plenty in it and very filling. Hubby had beef Chicago gyro which he said was filling and the beef on the dynamite fries tastes amazing. Very clean, great friendly service and will definitely be returning.
