Great food, friendly waiter, good price

A little treasure, hidden away on Esher High Street. The food is a great , not fast but always worth the wait

We had a great meal at Domo. Good size portions and value for money. Indeed possibly the best Miso soup we have tasted!

Food was okay, but not good enough to come back again. Really sorry guys, but you do need to try harder base with the food and the torn up menu outside the front and the toilet Definitely needs a spruce up and a sign so people know where to go.

Absolutely wonderful food and a lovely atmosphere. Our server was very kind and the food was absolutely delicious - as a vegetarian, it is usually hard to find good options especially at Japanese restaurants, however there was a lot to choose from at Domo. The kimchi sushi was delicious, and so was the tofu teriyaki. Would 100% recommend Domo for anyone looking for great quality, delicious Japanese food.

This is not a japanese restaurant. The foods are not Japanese foods and chef is not a professional. If you experience Japanese or Korean foods, you understand above. The dishes are absolutely rubbish.

Service is very poor and the food is revolting for the price you pay. Also note the service charge is compulsory. Rip off !

여러가지 10가지 정도 음식을 시켰는데 다 맛있었어요! 음식도 빨리 나오고요. 남녀노소 즐길 수 있는 장소예요. 또 갈거예요! 일식이 이 가격이면 괜찮은 것 같아요.

Enjoyed a very nice lunch here last Sunday. Sadly (for the restaurant) no other guests were there but it did mean the food came quickly! Very fresh tasting food, evidently lovingly and carefully prepared. Only improvement we could think of was having some quiet Japanese background music to fully put us in the mood! The decor is very Japanese but with no music and no other diners it was eerily quiet ... Would definitely go again if we were in the area!

Went on a Sunday night. It was empty, no music, half a wine list! No bubbles, no cocktails. Half of food on menu not available , no desserts, only hot drink on offer green tea!. Terrible service. Still charged 15% service. Will definitely not be retuning.

Fabulous food; lovely staff and chef; great value lunch time menu. Went there with family today for our anniversary and we had the perfect lunch. We highly recommend. Domo arigato!

Food is exceptional - some of the best sushi Iv had - often quiet inside but don’t let put you off

A fantastic Japanese restaurant with lovely decor, serving authentic Japanese food. We enjoyed spicy chicken yakisoba, spicy seafood ramen, and a selection of sushi. It was pretty quiet when we visited, and the food was served pretty quickly. Food was fresh and delicious! Highly recommend. Will visit again soon.

The worst Take away I have ever had. edamame came with no salt, the black cod was 2 slithers of fish that I wouldn't even feed to my dog. and the chicken yaki tori was full of gristle. only part I enjoyed was the rice. Nothing had any flavour. I could have justified the size of the portions for price if it tasted good, but it tasted AWFUL. Dont waste your money go to M&S or Sainsbury's while on lockdown.

Great Japanese/Korean restaurant with a fantastic waiter who really made the experience for us. Nice relaxed atmosphere and great food.

Ordered 19 rolls (sakura, gomei, dragon). Taste was alright. Nothing special. Packaging awful, smashing the rolls down. Gomei rolls were falling apart. Low amount of rice around. Almost no wasabi and ginger. To be honest the amount of both was like pea size. Poor quality to price ratio.

Such a good restaurant. Lovely owner. Very relaxing as a family night out. Our teenagers like to go to Domo with friends for a fun dinner too.

Possibly the worst takeaway I've had. Food was cold, sauces missing, the chicken had knuckle in most bits and the fact we paid 52 pounds just for two people and 6 dishes, its unacceptable. On return of the order, person on the phone was rude and couldn't understand why the food was bad and said "everyone else's was fine today" Never again, manager shouted at our faces on our doorstep saying that the food was fine. Disgraceful.

Fantastic! This restaurant gives you food with high speed, kind staff and a small, comfortable atmosphere with great designs! I felt really at home here. Great sushi!

We love it there, the food is delicious and it is usually not too crowded which I like so it's not too noisy. The staff is friendly, we have been there many times in the past years and it has always been good. It is a little on the expensive side but then Japanese food generally is. I recommend Domo.

This restaurant serves " Korean style Japanese foid", which means it may not be really authentic Japanese style. BUT, overall quality and taste is good. Also, they are servicing quite variety of menu, From Ramen to Sushi. Worth to try!

Excellent Japanese fare. Super fresh fish and excellent service. Value for money lunch sets too! Best Japanese in Surrey!

Not a bad place at all, but the beef Tonkatsu was like a sliced up turkey dinosaur drizzled lightly in sauce and with some uncle bens rice. Im sure there is better stuff on the menu, but I wasn’t blown away sadly.

Just had lunch, maybe different to evening because don't understand all these good reviews. Absolutely awful food. Noodles swimming in sauce, no stir fry veg just a few bits of chicken, onion and noodle. Try Soya in weybridge, worlds apart

Brilliant Japanese food. Well worth a visit

Attended for a family event. The food was absolutely breathtaking and I can not recommend Domo enough. Between the 8 of us we made an effort to try everything and I couldn’t fault a dish. I can’t wait to go back.

Amazing food, nice restaurant on a busy road but the atmosphere inside feels like you are away from the crowds. I loved the Green Tea Ice cream, had never tasted that before.

Good quality food and at good prices

Maru is a fantastic restaurant, the authentic japanese cuisine makes this place very special. The sashimi in particular was very fresh, I highly recommend the fish dishes. This restaurant is a must visit!
