Domino's Pizza - Plymouth - Roborough in South Hams

Ordered from here for many years and until today not had reason to complain. If you have a reason to complain, don’t expect this store to do anything about it…dreadful customer service.

Pizza took around 20 minutes longer to be delivered than the app said and when the pizzas arrived they were incorrect. Can’t get a refund for pizza but they will come swap it for a correct one which we couldn’t do due to timings.

Fast and efficient, collection went without a problem. Staff were all friendly, happy and greeted me with a smile. Food great tasting and looked like it had been made with care (unlike some other places I can think of, that seem to load all the ingredients into a cannon and aim it at a bun). I was only visiting the area and wasn’t sure what to expect so I was pleasantly surprised. Thanks guys, keep up the good work

Really good pizza. The manager came running out to the car to highlight the fact my daughter left her cuddly bunny behind. Legend and thank you.

Ordered a pizza with extra cheese yet the pizza only had cheese on half of it. Surely a business that charges twenty quid for bread can get this right. Never going here again.

8 quid for a pizza and a really friendly and accommodating manager working on his own, great experience and a right bargain ! Pizza was so good he made it well ! Perfect temperature and all round fresh and decent 👌 can't fault any of my experience at all 5 stars all day

Hello to whoever reads this review this is absolutely terrible how the service has been tonight for us. We ordered food for delivery and when it arrived they had forgot the hot sauce. My husband is autistic and needs to have his hot sauce with his food. We ended up waiting 20 mins for them to redeliver our sauce and when we got it our food had gotten completely blank out cold. The chicken had gotten soggy and the pizza had become warm not hot like it should be it was like after a backside has been sat on a sofa and left a warm spot. No joke. We deserve to get everything with our order no matter how small it may be that goes for everybody and not kept waiting for a small pot of sauce. I will not be surprised if dominos takes this review off. Will not be returning to this dominos again especially when you spend £50 to get cold food. Now I need the toilet gone from me gone £50 is gone from me.

Absolutely disgusting customer service!! The manager is extremely rude. Glitch in the system and double order but refused to cancel after I called straight away. Food came cold and mushed up. Pizza has wrong sauce on so couldn't eat due to severe allergies. Wrong drinks sent. Pizzas soggy and cold.. Had to call back and was told the wedges would be replaced and drinks swapped. Then had a call to say the address had gone of the system that they would be there soon. Only positive was the lady who called me back who was very apologetic and lovely. Only ate bits as my children were starving. Contact customer service and get told the store will replace the items and sort the issues. So called Manager doesn't care And is extremely rude. Think they all need allergen training to see how serious this can be. Absolutely disgusting Avoid!!

The demise of Domino's. We've had a delivery left on the doorstep, in the rain. Another which was missing part of the order which was not rectified and now the prices have been inflated with an additional £2.50 delivery charge, that's the driver's tip out the window, all in the name of greed. Our last order was a medium pizza the size of a tea plate with a spattering of toppings which were a good inch from the edge. Cost cutting and profiteering in plain sight! Contact domino's, they don't give a **** and tell you to call the store. Call the store and they don't give **** either. Who knew corporations were happy to treat their customers like muppets... Steer clear!!

So got a pizza delivered to me and opened the box to this. Some of the pizza was missing. Wasn’t very happy about this

Cook the pizzas for longer please, first ever Dominoes that I have ever had to write a bad review for and I only eat Dominoes pizza and have lived all over. Each time I have had pizza from here 3rd time I have vomited, I put it down to pregnancy but I was wrong. Tomatoe puree always cold and crust not cooked thoroughly. I live 2 minutes away so should not be cold. On the bright side the cookies are always perfect.

Ordered multiple times .. NEVER arrives with dominoes herbs on.. Taking the mick now. Other than that the delivery drivers are drift kings & get to us within minutes. Please sort the herbs out.

Placed an order online tracking said driver was in our street no delivery arrived. Rang store spoke to someone called James who said he’d go see what had happened to our delivery. After being on hold for almost 5 minutes he came back said he’d forgotten he’d put me on hold & laughed . I asked what had happened to our order he just simply said “I dunno love” Didn’t really seem to care offered me a refund then pretty much hung up on me. Called back spoke to the manager Alex who didn’t really seem to be that bothered either said you’ll get a refund but it’ll take 3 to 5 days then implied I was lying about how I was spoken to on the phone the 1st time I had rang. Said our pizza had been delivered but couldn’t tell me where ? .. we have a ring door bell & no one had been near our house as we had checked it. Staff seem to not really care how they speak to their customers or that I had spent £27 & our delivery clearly hadn’t turned up. 1st & last time ever ordering from here run by a bunch of kids with couldn’t care less

Customer service here is the best I've experienced at domino's.

Absolutely disgusted with the manager that works there . He accused me of being a liar and to top it all off he accused my kids of being liars. I was waiting in on a order and received a text saying that my pizza left the robrough store . I waited 40 mins past the time of text . I phoned the store to find out that the driver went back with my order as i didnt answer my door . I stated to the manager that no one came to my door as my doorbell didnt ring and didnt pick up anyone coming to my door being a ring door bell also my kids didnt see anyone drive down my street. When i stated this to the manager he said that his driver did go to my property and i didnt answer. Well im sorry but the ring doorbell has proof . The manager didnt want to hear any of it and said the pizzas will be delivered again . I said i dont want cold pizzas being delivered. He stated it is what it is and he would never make a fresh batch since i am in the wrong. I ended up giving pizzas to my kids that was very cold and for paying over 50 pounds on my order i sent a email to the complaints who in the end backed up the manager. They ignored the fact that i had evidence that no one came to my door apart from the 2nd driver who told me that the manager and the other driver didnt know where i was and thats why they sent this driver who knew my street . So once again this wasnt my fault and had to embarrassingly hand my kids cold pizza. I know i can warm up pizza in the oven or microwave but when i spend over 50 pound to treat my family i expect better service and not being lied to by the manager of the robrough store even with all the evidence i have proving him a lier.

Very disappointed in the size of the potato wedge portion. I've ordered a few times from here when staying in Plymouth at a travelodge, always order 2x mixed chicken, 1x garlic bread and 1x potato wedges. Normally the wedges come in a box the same size as the chicken, which is perfect for 2 people sharing, sadly this time the wedges came in a small square box with only 14 small cold wedges in , so only 7 per person shocking value for money, makes me think twice before ordering again, it's a shame as food has never been an issuse in the past.

After returning home from work for 6 months, my family and I ordered 6 pizzas for a family gathering in Tavistock. The tandoori pizza we ordered had no chicken on and pretty skint on the vegetables too. We would’ve taken the pizza back but this would’ve been a 40 mile round trip to return a wrongly made pizza. We phoned the shop and they did not once apologise or offer any sort of compensation for their own mistake. Very poor customer service.

Appalled!! Waiting to collect our order, while waiting we watched a man having a cigarette directly outside the entrance. Smoking and spitting all over the entrance disgusting enough then the man put out his cigarette took off his hoodie to reveal his Dominoes work t-shirt!!! He then walked back in to store and back to kitchen. We followed and requested a refund as this made us feel sick.

Sent complete wrong pizza, amy the manager was rude and didn’t want to help with resolving the issue just denied all fault. When finally exchanging pizza delivery driver inspected for 10 minutes and accused us of eating 4 slices of pizza that I wouldn’t feed my dog

Cannot believe what I just saw. Sat in the car park waiting for my pizza, and one of the delivery drivers parked next to me had a few pizzas put into his car by one of the staff and he did nothing except talk to the lady in the car parked next to him, also looked like another delivery driver. This lasted at least 5 minutes - meanwhile the poor customers pizzas are getting cold. No wonder half of the pizzas I have delivered are nearly cold when I open the box. Pretty disgusted with the blatant lack of care for their customers.

Ordered pizza at 2pm for delivery 6.45pm. Paid online. Checked at 7pm when pizza would arrive as the tracking was saying the pizza was being prepared. That was from 6.30pm. Did not realise it took so long to make a pizza. Maybe they make all their dough fresh on site and allow time to proof. Anyway spoke to an employee who confirmed that the order had not been started and did not have a time but would be at least 2 hours. He cancelled at my request and said would be refunded. Well that has not happened. Happy to take your money but not provide a service. You would receiving an order 4 hours in advance you would have time to organise yourself. Again shocking management. This company is good at 3 things. Poor quality, poor service and shocking aftercare. Avoid

Last few times ordering the pizza was a mess thrown together the toppings was everywhere no care

After becoming dairy free last year due to health reasons, it meant Domino's was off the menu. Holidaying in Iceland last year we discovered that their Domino's had vegan pizza! But it wasn't available in the UK, so was so excited when I saw they were trialling it here, yesterdays treat did not disappoint, so ok it's not as good as the real cheese but it is fab for anyone who is vegan or for me 🙂

These pizzas are fantastic, with great deals, every night. Staff are friendly, its kept clean as well. If it's a pizza night for just 1 or the family, this is the place.

Vegetarian pitza is inedible. They think it consists of spreading an inch of neat passata on a burnt base and sprinkling 6 kernels of sweet corn and a teaspoon of onion on. Has anyone tasted cold meat passata???? No cheese?? I’m not vegan then they say that somebody incompetent ordered it .... whaaaaat my opinion is that someone who can not cook cooked it how rude and this is the manager saying this. Really bad food

Emergency service worker currently 12 hours into shift was unable to order online due to work, went in to Roborough Dominos no one waiting all staff sat around doing nothing and apparently couldn’t help as order wasn’t placed online - cheers guys!

Ordered pizza for a work leaving do. Pizza arrived 45 minutes late just when everyone had to be back at work. Domino's answer to this was as the pizza was hot they don't care that it was late. When the pizza could be eaten it was as expected.

Tried to order online but the app and online wasn’t working or accepting our voucher code when speaking to a rude, disrespectful manager we decided not to put our £80 order threw and will not be using woolwell dominos again

I was told pizza would be about 10 minutes 20 minutes later still waiting. People coming in and out ordered after me. And leaving I'm still waiting. Disgusting service. Cancelled my order. Not even an apology. Not good Dominoes Pizza.

Stopped here to pick up Pizza for lunch on the way out to Dartmoor. Had really good deals on and was ready really quickly.

I shall never have another dominos pizza. I received my order. One of the pizzas was burnt and the garlic bread was not garlic bread. Unfortunately being on call for the night and following day I was unable to return to the shop to complain or have the pizza changed. I contacted the company only to be told that I should have taken it back and they would have cooked another... not sure what they did not understand by the fact I could not leave work as on duty. Poor service, poor food and poor aftercare. One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. Never again

I am really surprised this dominoes has 4 stars. I'm guessing it must just be delivery to me. The delivery is reasonably quick hence the two stars. Unfortunately though every week we order something is always missing or the latest is the pizza turns up cold. Sorry but not really good enough especially paying the prices dominoes charge. I feel more attention to detail is needed, along with a firmer understanding of customer service.

Domino's as a chain can get rather complicated due to the fact they try to charge something ridiculous for a pizza but entice you to buy more for less with their deals... But some are valid online...but others valid when you walk in and collect... But others...etc..etc..etc.. foods pretty good however.. Had dominos again Friday 14th of Dec 2018, the only different meal to my wife and her family the entire day, I was up at 1am vomiting and with an upset stomach, carried on every half hour or so until about 9am when it started to all calm down a bit then I was asleep until late afternoon, thankfully it seemed to be all sorted by the end of the weekend. I'm never eating food from here again.

I ordered a pizza to be delivered, then rang up after an hour of not receiving it. They said it was put down for collection. So they sent me the cold pizza. That happened twice in a row. Awful.

Was a very gd customer but recently haven't been impressed ur deliverer lady Helen is awfully rude the latest order was wrong & when I rang -there phone behavior was diar no attempt to correct there mistake, I will no longer be using dominoes..
