Reminded me if being in a neglected Wimpey off the A303. Dirty and smelly. Team are nice enough and delivered usual. COSTA fare 😊

Been to this Costa many times over the years as I am local, but the past year has just been awful. There is not enough staff, and as a result the tables are disgusting, constantly empty tables covered in old trays that need clearing, the toilets are disgusting. It’s surprising they’re even still open. It’s a shame because the staff seem lovely, just completely run off their feet and unable to clear any tables due to the long queues. If it wasn’t for the complete lack of decent places to eat without being ripped off, (which Costa borderline is anyway), I genuinely would never step foot in here again.

Standard Costa but very friendly service.

Friendly efficient staff who are very good natured and efficient. They remember what you have had on previous visits. I visit regularly 😊 They do suffer from issues with understaffing sometimes when there is only one person on for the early shift and orders for some items ( such as granary bread🙄) haven’t arrived but they are always cheerful, helpful and get on with the job in hand. They greet and know a lot of the customers. Very highly recommended 🙏😊

Excellent service from the two young ladies serving on Friday afternoon. Helped with our choice of toastie, helped with the spin the wheel, and offered table service for a forgotten cookie. Very kind.

Not been in the Costa for a long time, so had a meeting and went there today. Had a Luke warm flat white, asked for a replacement the girl threw the cup and saucer in the sink, made a new coffee with the most miserable face you could see, no sorry, no apology. Looks like it will be another few years before I step foot in again.

The person who served us was lovely, the person making the drinks was full of attitude, drinks plonked on tray, no here are your drinks just turned around as though I didn't exist, it doesn't take much to be polite. Toilets absolutely disgusting, stunk of urine and clearly have not been cleaned by anyone e who knows how to clean properly, very disappointing.

I've been in lots of Costa over the years, but this one really has a nice relaxing feel.

Costa in BRIXHAM, Cortado okay ... Carrot cake not.... Disapointed to say the least....size of the slice just not a decent cut of cake.. @ £3.75 (Put my finger infront of cake as a scale to size) SIMPLY OVER PRICED for size of cake.

Absolutely love Costa, when we go out, and there is a Costa we just have to go in, where ever Costa place is, in we go, brilliant place.

A pleasant atmosphere and I enjoyed a large coffee and a slice of cake while listening to an audio book. Quite busy for a Sunday morning.

There were no more coffee shops open nearby, so had to use Costa.....consistent coffee and the staff were welcoming at this busy branch

Listed on Good to Go but when I went to collect they had no bag and no explanation. Wasted journey- they would not carry it over to next day and said they would have nothing then either- yet they are listed on the app as having food for both days. They should take this facility off the good to go app if they do not have the staff to fulfil their orders

Love Costa and they have great treats and toasty sandwiches love going and just chill with a sandwich and coffee.

Popped in for a hot drink on a chilly afternoon. Service with a smile, helpful and good humoured.

Slow service, the glassware is very worn and scratched, luke warm coffee and given dirty cutlery. When asked for clean, given dirty cutlery again. Not the best costa I've been in.

Plenty of seats, and actually working USB ports. Amazing cooler drink.

I used to be a regular. Has been refurbished well recently, but service is repeatedly so slow & table/seat cleanliness so poor that considering not going anymore. Not acceptable to expect customers to sit amongst piles of debris from previous visitors - see photo. This was the only seating available. Costumers need to start speaking out about lack of cleanliness re: tables & chairs. I was shocked & dismayed at how many seemed used to & resigned/ prepared to sit in squalor. Especially given everything learnt from Covid - Its not ok. Customers deserve better.

A very nice place to pop in just enjoy a coffee and cake or whatever you fancy.

My drink was made to my specifications and very swiftly at that, the food is tasty and the atmosphere is fresh and inviting, the staff are ever so friendly and happy to engage in conversation.

Good selection of drinks, snacks and lunch options. The coffees are good, especially the seasonal, promotional ones that happen every few months. The cakes are very sweet and tasty, but there are cheaper options around locally. The sandwiches and toasted food options are adequate, but they're not worth the price you pay. The staff there are quick, friendly and helpful.

I used to really enjoy coming to this branch of Costa, but now the staff just doss around, tables untidy and the coffee is poorly made.

Placed a click and collect order only to find the store closed, no drinks and they took my money

It would be helpful if staff informed you that they only have skimmed milk before you pay and order. All done without a hint of an apology. Further customer service training is required in these premises.

Lovely venue, friendly staff. Had to take coffee back to be remade as wasn't done as requested Second cappuccino had hardly any froth - gave up after that

Costa - average venue with average products. Loads of great cafes in Kingsbridge. Unfortunately, this is the only cafe open on a Sunday :(

Can't believe I'm the only one who has placed reviews for this place in the last few years! Clean and tidy, but barista was extremely slow, she also did not take off my free coffee from the bill when she said she would.....

This place will look heaps better when the external decorating is finished. However, when you go through the door, the inside is pleasant and attractive. The staff running the place were pleasant too and the coffee was good. I shall go back! And I have many times. Coffee is good every time and the staff are really helpful.

I like costa as its got a chilled vibe.I always have a filter coffee as its like warm and I come in with a toddler so have to drink it quickly.The toast is nice also in costa I like the little spreads they put with it.There is loads of food for vegans so it's a good place to go.They could do smaller cakes etc for toddlers as they can't eat such big amounts.

Very poor visited today wasn't allowed to bring our small dog in the only area available to sit was outside with the smokers and the bins Coffee1# and Cafe Nero allow dogs which unfortunately Kingsbridge haven't got I think its about time Costa followed there example.

Good Cortado, but too many cold draughts in the place. Only 2 people serving so service was prolonged and tables not getting cleared.

I love this branch of Costa and go most lunchtimes whilst at work in Kingsbridge for my afternoon caffeine fix. I believe the building used to be a public house and Costa has retained a lot of the original features inside, so it's obviously a lot different from city branches. The staff are great and friendly and make a point of getting to know their regulars. It's not uncommon for them to spot you in the que and start to get your drink ready while you are waiting. Great job!

Costa are THE ONLY branded coffee chain that actually get a mocha correct.

Just been in here and walked back out. Long queue of school kids..most with no face masks..no social distancing....appalling in the current times and no staff enforcing legislation. You need to get things sorted

Was served by a lovely dude named Shaun, he’s the only reason i’m here writing this review. He was a great guy, brilliant service, smiley, and made my toastie in (I reckon) a minute, class service! Honestly the people in kingsbridge were looking dire until I was served by Shaun, you saved the day pal. Thanks mate.

I'm not a great fan of these places really. I prefer the small family run ones. Having said that, it served as a meeting place and the the hot chocolate was fair.

If you love seeing a hoard of year 7s lining up to get the same drink then all you need to do is go to costa, i wouldnt go there at 3:30 because it would be packed

This Costa is situated near the front of king's bridge town centre. Just near waterfront. It's not a bad little place and as always had a nice coffee. The only season I have 3 stars instead of 4 . Is that is didn't think the tables were cleared very well. There was enough staff there to deal with this. They were pleasant enough it was just that one thing. Otherwise I would say it's worth a visit.

Warm welcome, very friendly staff and a great location. The cafe has real character with plenty of seating space.

Ask my brother or any of my friends what I like? and they will say all together at the same time...."Coffee". I thought I was an expert in coffee, I've tried all the big names like "Mellow Birds", "Maxwell House" and "Nescafe". Try asking the staff at Costa if they serve these brands, they will probably say no. They have coffee which can be served hot or cold!!.........What a time to be alive!?

Welcoming friendly staff, not keen on chain establishments, but they try Thier best. Open most mornings at 0830hrs on advantage.
