Domino's Pizza in Chelmsford

I’m not one to leave a review but the practices that are in place are unhygienic and dangerous. Guy standing on the counter ‘cleaning’ in his socks cleaning out the vents on the ceiling with dust and crap coming out and landing exactly where they were prepping the pizzas. Not only this but spraying sanitiser in the air as well from his cleaning potentially landing on food.

For a pizza specialist they seem to forget every single time you order that one of the key ingredients of a pizza is the pizza sauce / purée!! That’s right, the pizza never has pizza sauce / purée on it!! Dry is the best description for their pizzas. Having had Domino’s pizzas from other restaurants I’ve never experienced pizzas so dry and lacking in pizza sauce / purée. If the Beaulieu restaurant actually reads their customer reviews… for the love of god, please layer your pizzas with plenty of pizza sauce / purée!!

Tragic service delivery driver couldn't find the address so sat in a lay by for 20 mins not answering my calls. I will never order from this domino's again cold awful pizzas. No sorry no refund no new pizzas. The pizzas were for my children to have with the football final what a disgrace Absolutely disgusting

Took over an hour to arrive and when it did they brought this abomination. Some might like burger sauce, I don’t and didn’t order it. When you try to get it corrected that night they don’t answer the phone. A few days later they bothered to answer, then hung up three times when you tell them the problem. Avoid avoid avoid.

I picked up a couple of pizzas a few weeks ago. Whilst waiting inside for my pizzas I felt uncomfortable. There were two lovely blonde haired girls working in there, being harassed by the male staff. One poor girl was trying to prepare a pizza while a guy was trying to hold her hands and was constantly harassing her. The other girl was trying to stay out of the men's way. It wasn't nice to see. Hope that the girls find a job somewhere else.

Since the change in management and staff, the quality is not the same. Order placed with extra toppings and received with less than standard.... not what I expected for £25 (robbed again) When it arrived it looked like a pizza foldover, not taking care of the cargo at all or must I say 1/2...

I had to pickup up order as they had massive shortage of drivers one evening, the manager phoned up to apologised and gave me the option to cancel, as I was starving I decided to pick up my pizza order up and I must say it was one of the best pizzas I've had in a very long time, the manager promised me a refund of delivery fees, however, I never recieved it, hence losing a star

I have I ordered two large pizzas, two portions of potatoes and a bottle of cola and the courier lied that he delivered it to me, I called the office 4 times to ask where my order was and the totally unprofessional people at the office instead of solving my problem kept asking me while waiting, he told me to go out of the house to look for the courier outside and the courier still didn't arrive, they took the payment from the card, l paid for something I didn't receive. SCAM SERVICES ⚠️

For a chain pizza place it was good. Nice staff etc. Shame about the price even with the deals it's very expensive.

Pizzas took over and hour to arrive and when they did they were foul. So dry and looked like they had been sat on side for ages and where yesterday's pizza. Phoned to complain and was offered a full refund.... Good to get money back as pizzas went straight into the bin. But would never go back. Papa Johns next time.

They don’t accept legal tender such as cash. Would not recommend dominos. You are better off supporting local independent pizza businesses instead.

Fuming!! I ordered dominos and found glass the size of a tooth in my food! This is completely vile it could have caused serious injury or killed me. Got no apology they just offered to send out another pizza or a refund.

Genuinely had the best customer service I've ever experienced from any place here. I had to call to place my order due to my intolerance only being in dairy, but still being a meat eater. I regret not finding out the person's name that helped me. He was extremely thoughtful and considerate to me, my needs and wanted to ensure I didn't have to compromise as well as getting the best deal for my money as my specific requirements would normally make things cost a little extra. He saved me over £5-£8 in total. I'm very grateful! Thank you so much. The food arrived 20 minutes earlier than expected also ✨🙏

Pizza was so salty it was inedible

Ordered on line for collection and it was ready when I arrived.

AVOID! I placed an order for one medium pizza for collection. Was told it would be 15-20 minutes. I arrived 20 minutes later and it wasn’t ready. I then waited for an hour in total and didn’t get my food. Are they importing it from Italy?! I asked for a refund and the man with glasses and dark hair told me unapologetically that the staff on the cooker were untrained. Put in a complaint and got fobbed off by a corporate email and no compensation for my time. Clueless bunch running the store, and have lost my business.

Moved recently this area and this is the nearest one, been a big fan of Domino’s so I have order pizza from this branch but not a great experience with this branch . Very little toppings and when asked they said this is the perfect Veg Supreme pizza which is not .I have been ordering from domino’s for more than 10 years. I found few of staff and the manager did not deal with my query in professional way . Very disappointed.

Unfortunately this is the closest Domino's pizza to our address and one of the staff member I have dealt with has always been rude. First day when I went to pick up he refused to take a card payment and said they only take cash. Today when I called them for delivery, he says that they don't accept delivery this moment because they are busy, I called around 7.40pm. Been a Domino's fan for good few years now but this stinky attitude has put me off from ordering from them anymore. What a shame!

Not a great fan of pizza but for the first time I liked Marguerite pizza which was freshly made in front of your eyes.

My children love it. I appreciate the deals. Money well spent.

The kids love Domino's and I love Pizza hut.....especially their deep pan spicy hot mouth burner but what can I say apart from it's my job as a dad/peacekeeper to do the right thing!!

Great store location for collection as has free parking right outside which is never full. The team look COVID-19 safety very seriously so didn't feel unsafe when collecting. Pizza was really good quality and using the collection deals on the app made it very cheap. Store was really clean and tidy with no dirt. I could see the team cleaning the store as I was waiting so good to see that taken seriously. Overall a great experience with good quality food. Would go back for sure!

We always order our pizza from here and they have never got our order wrong, and always arrived earlier than expected. Been in store once and we got to see our pizza being made but still was quite quick! Really recommend.

Absolute perfection, now this is what I call taking pride in your work, absolutely fantastic pizza hats off to the guys there always a friendly service.

Ordered delivery this evening for 7.30 and it turned up on time, that's the good news. As soon as I opened the door it was obvious what was on my step wasn't my order. Delivery guy really apologetic, and the correct order did eventually turn up 25 minutes late, and only just tepid. Hate to think how far around town it had been driven before it got here. What happened to customer service. They have both my email and telephone number, but absolutely no apology from the branch manager/manageress, not even an update on what was happening. Really disappointed, as the order normally sits in quality control for 20+ minutes but today it flew through 😟

I sent out an order at 16:30 to be delivered at 18:30. Currently at 19:05 after calling the store twice and being told my order was on its way. I have called once again to be told it hasn’t even been prepared and the only excuse I was given is they have been busy and I’ll have to wait a further 30 minutes for my order. I spoke to a store member ‘Ryan’ who offered little of an apology and said it’ll be half an hour and that’s it. Disgraceful service.

Rapid delivery times to the local area. Collection experience is always swift as well. Consistency of the pizza is of a high standard; 8/10 times the pizza will arrive perfect. At other times, slightly overcooked. Pepperoni Passion for life!

What was on the pizza went through to fast. Much better elsewhere to ever try there again.

Had 2 medium cheese and tomato pizzas Saturday, looked like somebody chucked a jug of tomato's over them and cooked well burnt them badly , must of run of cheese as it did not have any on or just trying to save money, 1 had pineapple on it and it well 2 bit on each segment, they were totally uneatable ,complained and sent out replacements marginally better found a bit of cheese this time , i think staff from other stores need to come in train them how to prepare and cook pizza , never go here again

Very disappointing the pizzas we ordered and picked up were not on time over an extra 20 minutes wait then got home one of the pizzas must have missed the chicken only a few bits very disappointing.

Just collected my Pizza’s and one of them had a surprise for me. A PIECE OF HAIR!!! Threw the Pizza’s in the bin. Last time I’m eating from this place.

Nice place to have lunch and also enjoy the weather. Sun hits you properly. Very well designed and you can eat in. Also has a juice machine.

Two times now ive had issues with getting, wait for it.... an extra pot of icing for the cinni dippers. Sounds ridiculous ? I know ! Ive had to resort to showing an email from dominos head office stating that it can be out through as miscellaneous sauce as there is no option for it. The manager Joel really is not good with customer service as ive been told that giving the extra pot of sauce "cost the company too much" when i even offer to pay for it.

Awful Pizza - looks like top of the sauce bottle came off. Fortunately one half of the pizza was edible.

I highly recommend this store. Such a well organised establishment. Customer service is 5 star and the time of delivery was within the time stated. The delivery driver was so polite. i order one pizza today , i have been track cooking time and when i was arrived in the shop on the screen show me that it s ready for collection and some one from the staff told me that something it s wrong ( i must to wait to make another order) so , it s normal to happened that ? i m very sad .i hope to not happen again in the future.

The current manager is a total idiot. No time to talk to customers or be civil. I made an honest mistake (even though my partner saw me order what I thought I ordered on-line - the checkout didn't resemble it). I spoke to a really nice chap but he passed me to the manager. I looked online and saw the error but he couldn't care less and just put the phone down on me. I never complain but this time I was so incensed by his attitude I felt the need to call him back. He just didn't get that even though it was my fault, sincerity and politeness to a customer means more. He needs to be replace ASAP if this new franchise is to survive. I can see a high turnover of staff at this place even before it happens!
