Domino's Pizza in Calderdale

I've been collecting pizzas from the Halifax branch for a number of years and its always been poor. Tonight I stood for about 5 minutes where all the staff looked at me, larked around, had their own private jokes and eventually someone came and asked if I'd ordered. My pizza was ready, but they couldn't be bothered with one walk in. Told the guy who served me that I thought service was poor, but he wasn't bothered in the slightest, seems that now there's a take away boom and delivery is the way forward they don't really care about people walking into the shop.

The people running this store do not care one iota about their customers or the franchise of Dominoes itself. Initially refused to refund me after I pointed out their recent confusing and opaque menu changes. Eventually after asking to speak to the manager numerous times who told me that yes they could refund me but only after 2 weeks, FOR A PIZZA!! I kid you not, 2 weeks for a pizza refund in 2021. He then refused to provide me with a simple receipt or any proof at all that I had requested said refund, because it was apparently 'against procedure'.Welcome to modern fast food folks, never forget that the customer is always wrong at Dominoes in 2021. I will never buy anything from Dominoes again. Over the last 10 years they have gradually tarnished and largely destroyed this once great brand.Stay away if you value your sanity.

Do not believe the delivery times quoted. They are over double. Had to chase for the whereabouts and kept being told delivery person was outside, he wasn’t we found him down the road playing on his phone and not delivering! They refused ant form of recompense. Awful service.

The pizza itself was decent with nice toppings and I dig the screen that lets you know when your grub is ready. My only criticism was the staff were a bit loud but it was quite amusing so no big deal.

Used to love Dominoes in Halifax, good tasty pizza, no more unfortunately 😢 Last time I ordered they ripped us off, months ago so thought give them another go, pizza like eating a bag of salt. Disgusting is an understatement, plus how they can get away with selling food with a month supply of salt in one meal is unbelievable.

Ordered pizza- was advised on screen it was ready so ordered taxi Taxi arrived - then advised pizza hadn't even been put in oven We complained as we now had to keep taxi waiting- the guys behind counter seemed to be laughing with no apology When finally ready .. we confirmed poor service- again no apologies

We ordered our pizzas at ten past 8. An hour later, the tracking app said that our pizza had been delivered. I phoned the shop who put the driver on to speak to me. He said he was sure it was my address he had delivered too but the manager agreed to resend my order. Another hour passed and our pizza arrived. They both looked like the boxes had been shaken about and turned upside down. It was all squashed up. Very disappointing after a 2 hour wait.

We use Dominos quite often as we usually enjoy their pizzas but after last weeks performance think we'll be going to Pizza Hut in future..so we ordered online at 6-15 got the email saying will be delivered asap.. 6.45 got the usual text your pizza has left the shop.. about 7.10 still no pizza so I rang the shop up a female worker said oh it's on its way 5 minutes.. so we waited again by 7.30 it still hadn't arrived so again I rang the shop.. this time I spoke to a male worker who said I'd specified a time online which I hadn't and that's why it was so long.. whilst on the phone the door went..pizza had arrived so I passed the phone to the driver who was being asked what's taken him so long.. my partner took the pizzas who then shouted to me that they was stone cold.. the boxes looked like there was grease all over them so I asked for the phone back and to speak to the manager.. he came to the phone and was literally not interested at all.. oh we'll send you another pizza but we'd already waited all this time so declined it.. he was so disinterested I couldn't believe the attitude on him.. I put in a complaint online but by the looks of the reply they're not very interested either... not good when there's a Pizza Hut not 100 yards from them

Great pizza! Always lovely to have a good meal. Little pricy though. Overall, top quality pizzas for the family.

I used to rate Dominos. We don't often have a take away but when we do I usually think of Dominos. Not anymore. The last time we ordered - a few months ago it was bad but we thought it was perhaps a one off and decided to give it another chance, never again. Firstly we ordered about 11pm. It was not delivered until around ten past midnight when to be honest we'd gone off the idea but hey ho. Rather ironically the boxes state in big letters - caution its hot! Hmm ours was stone cold. The store shuts at 12 so I get the feeling our food was cooked earlier then left around and dropped off by someone on their way home to save a job. The toppings looked liked they'd been thrown on by a five year old and very stingy - a few scraps of meat here and there and hardly any cheese. Undercooked and like I said cold. The pizzas also looked like the back end of a bus, like they'd been dropped on the floor or something. We ordered 2 sides - potato wedges and meatballs, the wedges were flat cold too and as for the meatballs, they forgot to deliver them but we were still charged for them. We got to wash it all down with a warm bottle of pop. Perhaps the only saving grace was the ice cream, perhaps the only part you can't really get wrong. Surprisingly it was frozen but still, probably warmer than the pizzas. To top it all off me and my other half have dodgy stomachs the morning after from the bit of it we did eat. I won't go into details as I'm sure you get the idea. Sure it's just pizza but at nearly £30 a shot you expect it to be good. Never again!

its ok, you know its clean and you can watch your pizza being made, but i have had much better pizzas at a fraction of the cost

I ordered potato wedges Dominoes sent me chicken kickers, second time this has happened now. Frustrating and annoying, they don't even look similar.

Having already paid my order is still showing as being prepped after it should have been delivered. I have attempted to call several times and the phone keeps getting cut off without anyone answering and then left off the hook. The order is 30mins late and hasn't even been baked yet.

Have placed orders with Domino's the Halifax branch few time's over the years and have yet to get a pizza delivered at the time requested. Order placed well in advance and yet is turn's up luke warm 20 to 30 mins late. For a major pizza chain I expect far better as they are not cheap but expensive as far pizza prices go. I would say save your money and buy a good frozen pizza from the supermarket and do your own than order from here.

Grandkids wanted pizza so we ordered from here. Quick delivery, very friendly. Lovely Pizzas, delicious chicken. Scrumptious chocolate Cookies.

Great menu choice lots of different options and range of products, delivery is alway efficient and drivers polite.

Let me first of by stating, I love dominos. I have recently moved to Halifax from Bradford so this unfortunately is/was my local dom's. Ordered takeaway the other week, arrived after an hour and was flat cold. Was told my order would be with me...

Eat here regular, 2 times a week. We order 14 franks hot wings. Now I expect the flats and drums to be 50/50 as nature intended. We prefer the flats. Never have we received an equal amount always more drums, as trivial as it sounds when a place takes £45 off you every week you expect some courtesy. Iv pulled them on it on numerous occasions, to be fobbed off. Complained to head office, they made the franchisee ring me. He apologised and send sorry please come back and I will give you free wings by way of an apology. Ordered last night, our usual. Picked up the money needed minus the wings and went to collect. The manager then then came to me and said I only meant you could have 7 free wings. I asked him to check my order history and see I wasn't trying it on. Shop full of people and I couldn't afford tea. Iv never felt so ashamed. How could a human being do this to anyone. Never will I use this horrible mans takeaway again.

I've ordered from here quite a few times. No complaints about the food itself - great pizza and a selection of chicken and other sides, such as wedges and dough balls. Deserts include doughnuts and cookies. Prices are pretty high. A large pizza, and toppings, is £15 or so, and more for sides and drinks. A small (4 slices) pizza is rather better at about £5.50. The sides can be pretty pricey too.
