Domino's Pizza in Chichester

Must times when I order Frank Red chicken wings, it always without the Frank Red sauce and when you point it out, they reluctantly add it with no apologies. It's not like this with the Havant branch. Chichester Dominios customer service is very poor February 2024 - There's been improvements with Chichester Dominos. The last few visits I made recently, the staff were polite and friendly. Also, recently, when I pointed out that my usual Frank Redhot chicken didn't have the sauce, they apologised and added, unlike previous times when they were rude.

Strange ideas about things. Terrible service - almost criminal.

Amazing customer service. Whenever I go in there, the staff are lovely and attentive. They always work so hard and have a smile on their face. I had a lovely experience on Saturday and I’m always encouraged to go back! Thank you so much for being so kind.

Paid for a pizza never received because I had seen cross contamination take place. Also never got my money back. Manager swore at me.

Found the pizza dry and cold (even though we collected and it had ‘just come out of the oven’). Will stick with Papa John’s, or if you are feeling adventurous and willing to travel, go to Giorgio’s in Waterlooville.

If I could do 0 stars I would . Truly disappointed took an hour and 15 mins to arrive half of our order was missing and the part we did get was wrong. Then had to sit on phone for 10 mins waiting to speak to someone. I had to repeat 5 times what was wrong 😑

I just don’t understand this dominos, the owner has changed all the typical offers and deals. Where is the Half and Half choice gone?!?

Dominos pizza has become so expensive with delivery fees and menu prices rising, on top of that they keep messing my order up? I've had 3/4 orders in the past 6 months and only one was how it should be. I've been getting pizza here for a few years now but I'm having serious doubts about ordering here in the future. I phoned up to complain but I got fobbed off with some rubbish about how I'll be sent a coupon which I never received. The Chichester branch has low standards at the moment, I hope it improves soon.

Awful. Rude staff and food always turns up late, cold and wrong toppings. Don’t waste your time trying to complain. They don’t care.

We ordered food for collection turned up and was acknowledging by four workers we waited for a further few minutes for one of the workers to say ‘do any of you know how to serve’ someone turned round and said ‘yeah but i don’t want to so and so is over there they can do it’ quite rude considering it’s your job and it wasn’t busy at all.

Placed an order earlier this evening. After waiting for it to be processed I had a text at 9:04pm to say it was out for delivery. After 30 mins I call as no pizza had arrived. I was told ‘there is a glitch’ by a male member of staff and the pizza had only just left. I called again after another 20 minutes and I get told that the pizza had left at 9:04pm and they are very busy etc etc I explained that after waiting for an hour my pizza will be cold. I was assured it wouldn’t be. And after waiting a full hour, it is stone cold. I had an awful experience last time I used this store and my low expectations were exceeded this time to go even lower than before.

Undercooked meat, not enough tomato base was actually so disgusting got food poisoning the morning after. 100% avoid go and get a five guys instead

Wouldn't waste your time recveied two pizzas with no cheese Whatsoever. And greeted by un caring rude staff who said really we should have to pay 50% on top of what we have already payed to get are pizzas corrected. Overall disgusting food terrible un educated staff in customer service. Avoid at all cost. Shame you have to give 1 star as really does not deserve.

Ordered a Texas BBQ with extra/double cheese. Pizza turned up with barely a shred of cheese on it. Called to complain and was asked to email them a photo and call back in 5-10 minutes, which we did. The lady on the end of the phone checked the photo and said because they could see “a little bit” of cheese, the order wasn’t wrong, they wouldn’t replace it, but we could have a £5 voucher. This wasn’t acceptable. We wanted to return the original (untouched) pizza and receive a replacement, because we were hungry and this was supposed to be our dinner. They said no and said we could speak to a manager. Male manager repeated the comments of the female member of staff, but initially said he couldn’t send a replacement due to stock and supply issues. He then changed his tune and said they could manage a replacement if we wait 2 HOURS! Again, this was unacceptable, because it was not our mistake and our order should be prioritised. In the end, it was a £5 voucher (to cover the cost of the nearly £24 pizza we wouldn’t be eating) or a 2 hour wait for a replacement. Here we are waiting, despite a photo proving the mistake. Absolutely terrible customer service. We won’t order again. UPDATE: After waiting over 2 hours we called back…the manager never put our replacement order through and then left! We’ve been treated like liars and with zero respect. We’re both disgusted. We were offered a £20 voucher from another “manager”, so we are stuck out of pocket and without dinner. Outrageous customer service. Don’t bother ordering from them.

Ordered double decadence (DD) crust for my pizza but received thin crust. I always order DD so I know what it tastes like. I was asked to send photos for them to review and in the end, they insisted it's double decadence but not much cheese. I didn't pay extra to not be satisfied. They said they will send voucher to my account before we ended the call "even if we are not supposed to", words from the lady I spoke to over the phone. Still nothing in my account, and worse, still not happy with my order.

Ordered food online for collection, was told it was ready went to collect, still had to wait 15mins for it "to be boxed" they said. Not great service

Here is a nice long list of what they have got wrong for us tonight: - Delivered to the wrong address -Didnt deliver to the correct addressafter being turned away by the first address -Didnt pick up the phone when trying to contact them -Made us drive and waste petrol to the store -Met at the desk by a bunch of useless karens -Finally gave in and gave us our COLD pizzas with no discount or any compensation -Got back home after wasting more petrol -Opened up the boxes and saw the WRONG PIZZAS All in all a terrible experience do no go anywhere near this filthy useless excuse of a pizza store. Really poor delivery service. They went to the wrong address quite far away then took the pizzas back. We had to collect them and they lied about why they couldn't deliver blaming the customer. Once we got them home they were missing items we'd paid for and had the wrong pizzas. I'm using Papa John's in future.

Very poor customer service. We ordered 2 pizzas and 2 sides this evening. After waiting for over 1.5 hours, our food turned up, to the incorrect address. The food was sent back to dominoes courtesy of our pleasant locals, but then sat at dominoes in chichester until we travelled to the branch ourselves. Once there we were greeted by a welcoming initial member of staff, but when asked for a discount due to the 2+ hour wait, a fresh member of staff was summoned. From this point we were rudely dealt with by a very repulsive member of staff who emphatically refused a discount. We then took our cold pizza home, to find it was the incorrect order. Appalling.

I've always found dominos to be hit and miss. As such, it's a minor miracle that I've never had any issues with this branch.

Shocking. My son got back with pizzas and there was hardly any topping on them. The meatballs were missing from one, and the pizza had lots of raised bits with nothing on! The told us to send a photo. We did. Then they asked us to ring back, we did. Then they said they would remake them once they got the email. We asked if they were definitely going to be remade and we're told yes, once email has been checked. Then another 15 minutes to ring back as they hadn't opened the email. My son left to take the other ones back as we are half hours drive away. Then when he rang they said they weren't going to remake it. We're now left with 2 large cold pizzas they told us not to eat, with next to nothing on it. Awful....Would not recommend.

It took over 35 minutes to deliver our pizza from the store, 3 miles away. The pizza and chicken were cold and not very appetising. Nit happy....

Would leave zero stars if possible! Staff rude and absolutely useless! Took too many orders on a Friday and just couldn’t cope! waited 1.5 hours in the store for pick up even though told to collect!! Manager Lily rude and sarcastic!! Avoid this place! Also a long curly hair found on one of the pizza!! This place needs looking at!!! Disgrace!!

Ordered from this branch 1/10/2022 A pizza, nachos and cinnamon dipping sticks. Only received the pizza and cinnamon dipping sticks and told I could have a coupon or nothing for the nachos. But I can't use the coupon unless I spent another £12 for delivery. Spoke to the shift manager who would only give me his first name (Joel) and he was totally unhelpful and somewhat rude. When I said I would rather they gave me a full refund and take the food back he refused. I have since contacted customer services to express my dissatisfaction and awaiting their response. Disgusting service!!

Ordered on their appt and it said upto 90 minutes delivery with is pretty rubbish at the best of times. Phoned to confirm this was correct and was told that it will be more like 120 minutes if I was lucky !! Chose to collect and was told 20 minutes at the most. Turned up after bang on 20 only to be ignored for another 20 as the bloke on the counter kept answering the phone. When finally acknowledged, waited a further 15 for it. Concluded with it being way over priced and crap for the morning and horrendous service. Dominos Customer Services:- You must be loosing thousands on a weekly basis due to shoddy service. Look at the basics and you may start to get it right and actually build a good reputation!!

If they forget something when delivering make sure to send the driver back for it there and then. I was given this option but not wanting to cause hassle I shose for them to add it onto my next order. I call to confirm on my next order that I'm getting my missing item and they made me feel like I was trying to cheat them for free stuff. Woman was so condisending on the phone trying to tell me I had only ordered one of the item when I have confirmation that I had ordered 2 I will not be receiving my undelivered item nor will I be receiving a refund.

Tried to order online but wouldnt work. Phoned the store and they coudnt sort it out. Spoke to one of the managers I believe her name was kiera. Cannot fault her, thank you. Although you couldn't give me what I wanted you took the time to talk to us and listen to me moan. You deserve recognition for your excellent customer service

Seem incapable of putting the right toppings on the pizzas. Ordered a couple of months ago - no gherkins on the cheeseburger pizza. Thought it was a mistake and let it go. Same order today and no gherkins again 😂

Never a good experience with this place.

Tried to order 3 times tonight for a collection. After the phone rings for an eternity , the phone was lifted and replaced. The 2nd time no answer after 5 minutes of ringing. Eventually they answer after 3 more attempts, and was placed on hold for ages.... Hung up and went elsewhere. 0 for customer care and service.They are not cheap either , so throwing away alot of money if they are treating a few customers like this

All I want is you to send me an email with my receipt!! 7 phone calls, over 2 days and still no email! I genuinely do not understand why it is so hard to send me one?? All I want to do is get reimbursed from work for buying pizza for my team!!

Horrible pizza, cheese not even melted and was cold when we collected, staff can't be bothered about decent service. Over priced food that is seriously worth avoiding. Frozen pizzas from Tescos would have been better

Very fast came within 20mins , delivery driver Fred was super lovely , great communication skills was a great asset to the dominoes team . Wish more delivery delivery divers were as nice as him !

I'm sorry but when we pay 3 quid for wedges could we get a few more than 7 crispy depressing things tossed into the bottom of a box, there was more air than wedges in the box, just sat and laughed, and when you order a pizza from a place that in general just does pizza surely you can cut the pizza properly and not like toddler thats just got hold of a plastic spoon, I just don't think the staff honestly care, but o well

Very fresh tasting pizza with generous toppings, the pizza was ready for collection promptly from ordering. Having used other pizza chains, domino's tastes far fresher.

I have ordered here multiple times and it's not always a success 3 or 4 times they have conciderably messed up my order and have down right refused to sort it out now I'm not talking missing one topping or a side or something I'm talking about some fairly serious issues I'm lactose intolerant and I have had them not use the correct cheese which means I can't eat my pizza I have had extremely poor presentation and I have had parts missing like drinks and sides also they are awful at customer service and I really can't recommend it unless all you order is a classic cheese pizza

Regular orders over years and I live 5 minutes from the branch but they are always late and the food is always, without exception cold. Called a couple of times and they don’t care. Use another pizza place if I were you. Rubbish.

Cheap skates!!! Did not add in extra sauce as requested. Came with standard sauce. Person taking order at the time (Kieren) stated that he'll see what he can do to chuck in a few sauces - never arrived ! Delivery driver said that he'll run some over for us as they usually cost. Still never arrived !! We had to share 2 sauces between four people. Phone Dominos wishing to complain and manager (I assume) did not seem to give a hoof and said the sauces are chargeable...I wouldn't have mind paying if it was strictly specified as usually people would give out a few on the house... anyway. Will not order again. The bad reviews on here from other people is so true!!! Over a couple of sauces, they made a hoo ha !!! Well done, DOMINOS!!! Keep it up !!! Go to PAPA JOHN'S (if they are still around), at least they value their customers!!!!!

Cheap skates !! Asked for a couple of garlic sauces to be added in for free as ordered for four people. Puzza arrived semi warm. The driver said that he'll run some extra sauces over (never arrived!) Phoned up and spoke to manager (I assume) and stated that I particularly stated at the point of sale to Keiren that the sauces were important and said 'I'll see what I can do for you' well the answer is "NOT A LOT" DOMINOS... SHAME ON YOU FOR A COUPLE OF SAUCES !!!! Go to 'PAPA JOHNS' at least they'll value your custom and concern !!!!

Was told we could choose the Cineworld postcode for the delivery address however the fickle website kept making me select the Bognor branch even though my location was on my phone and was standing outside the premises . Discussing treatment Wish I could give no stars rang to claim 20 credit from a previous order guy answered and was adament he couldn't find the credit and before I could give any further details he hung up when I rang back he screamed down the phone don't call here any more I completely taken aback by this behaviour especially at this time so disappointed no longer going to use the chichester branch

Utterly useless, tried to get a pizza delivered 1/2 mile away from the shop to be told they don’t deliver there! Don’t bother phoning them as it’s like talking to a brick wall.

Ordered a chicken and sweetcorn pizza , there was hardly any topping and was also over cooked and orange , I wished I’d looked at the pizza before I got home , I would have demanded a refund , the fact I live in Selsey was why I didn’t return it , my granddaughter loves pizza and only eat one slice , we binned the rest. £11.99 , I should of stopped if at Asda.

The service is always awful- incredulously so. Kept waiting with no apologies, no change given of they run out or any offers to recompense and multpiple mistakes with orders and a reluctance to assess the fault i now drive the additional distance to Havant.

Let me start by saying I have NEVER left a bad review for a ristorante, or fast food outlet or pretty much anything... Me and my partner have ordered from here maybe 16 or so times. One of those times the pizza was clearly well well over done (Burnt), a few good orders later and then I find a hair baked into my pizza... I call up and they offer a new pizza and discount code, all they want is my old one with the hair. I thought this was reasonable, even if I would be waiting an extra half hour and eating separate from my partner... Half an hour later I'm the one that has to call them, they offer us a full refund instead because it's so "Busy". I begrudgingly accepted and cooked myself something else. I never received this refund. My partner, not having the hair still wanted to order further, I say "Fine, as long as I'm not paying for that garbage again, you can do what you want.". That incident was about 5 orders ago and now they have sent unseasoned chicken wings instead of the habanero and mango ones. I call up this time, they ask me if I am "SURE, they're normal ones as they look the same?", I reply, "Yes, I ate one.". She asks then further if there is definitely no sauce... REALLY? I NEED TO CONFIRM AGAIN? DOES SHE WANT ME TO EAT THEM ALL AND THE BOX TO MAKE SURE I KNOW MY TASTE BUDS WORK? After she gets the point that I have a tongue, she offers a fresh batch in return for the old ones... This was 3 hours ago. I refuse to eat anything from this branch again. My partner can order for herself is she's foolish enough. I'm sure an argument will ensue from this... Se la vie! Avoid.

Me and my partner ordered pizza over the phone as it was something wrong with online ordering. We've been told it will be about 15-20 mins. After 40 mins waiting we called them and we've been told they don't have our order and after 5 mins that our order is next to go as they got busy(which doesn't make any sense). Food arrived after 1h and 15 mins and it was nearly too late to eat. Adding to that pizzas and sides were luke warm and not fresh as they've been sitting under hot lights for ages. We use to be really happy with dominos but quality went really down if it can get any lower. Stuff is absolutely unhelpful over the phone, they have no idea what's going on. I won't recomend it. Not for the price they charging for their food.

Worst pizza I’ve ever had, wasn’t cooked order wrong & hair in it, Pizza Hut has better deals & will be cooked

The delivery is mostly quick yet sometimes can be long with at times items missing, especially dips. The food itself is very average and not worth the price tag, although the offers can be convenient. The customer service is not great but not the worst. Average is definitely the best word to describe this place.

Ordered for an evening treat, and everything was great, barring the garlic pizza bread, which was much smaller than advertised. Customer service was great, as one of the employees had to call me to inform me they were out of some toppings, and the delivery guy was polite and quick to arrive. Recommend if you're on a budget, as they do a variety of deals that suit everyone!

A s much as I love a pizza, I usually come here and have a very naughty pizza - what’s not to love! However I changed my mind after walking in here because of the nasty, manager. As I walked in the manager was swearing as her staff who only look around 16/17/18 year olds. I was extremely worried as this is a form of verbal abuse, Now having worked within this industry, it can be stressful- however there is a thing called respect for your workers. The manager who was screaming and swearing at her own staff said- “If you f***** get the orders wrong, I will be taking it out of your f***** pay check. I felt so awful for the workers. Honestly I will be taking this further - how someone can be trusted to be a manager when they have the manners of a rat is beyond me, bless the workers for continuing to work and who can’t escape this god awful, disgusting, discrase of a human being. Just a bit of advice Being nice gets you places, not a nasty pathetic little girl like this so called manager. I mean sitting there on your phone whilst calling your mates isn’t really a fantastic role model for a manager is it...I won’t be coming back to be sworn in front of or to listen to this silly insecure little girl boss people around, while she herself scoofs down the pizzas that don’t get pick up.

Order took nearly two hours to arrive. Food was cold and the order was completely wrong! The pizzas we received were covered in jalapeños and we didn’t even order them because we don’t like them. The delivery driver just handed us the food without even saying “sorry about the wait” which you would expect seeing as we had been waiting for nearly two hours! So now we have been left with inedible food 🙁 Great customer service Domino’s......NOT!!! I can see why you have got a two star rating on Google!

Me amd my friend had a half and half pizza for lunch she wanted a bbq base with chicken ham and sausage balls while i wanted tomato base with double pepperoni turns out she had my topping on her bbq side and i had hers which we let go but then on the second to last bit of pizza i had a piece of what we believe to be chicken bone. I did do a facebook review but didnt hear anything even though i attached the photo. If that had been my little nephew could of caused a serious accident. Won't ever be returning.

Appalling customer service. Staff really rude and unhelpful. Something is always missing from the order. They have no knowledge of dealing with customer complaints (got blamed for making a fuss just for the getting refund). Have complained before but dont think anybody cares. No standards at all. You are better off ordering from Papa John's.

Came here for a quick supper......big mistake!!! Turns out I could have saved my £35 and cooked my cheap pizzas at home far more quickly! Ordered and was told 15 minutes. Waited 35 minutes and then had to ask for my pizzas which had been ready for over 10 minutes but nobody bothered to to tell me. It was only after they were offered to another customer (2nd after me) that I realised they were mine. Consequently I had 3 barely warm, over tomatoed mediocre pizzas. What a joke! Will not be going here again!

This place should be shut down. It's a risk to public health. After eating a meal here I have been throwing up violently my doctor has confirmed it's food poisoning. I have phoned the food health agency to complain about them. Awful business please get this off out high street.

Quick pizza - great on a two for Tuesday. Despite living in a secluded area, pizza always delivered and love the online program which keeps you informed.

Since me and my friend had free vouchers to get a small personal pizza from Domino's - we jumped at the chance to get it since it was close to the station. Since we went there when it first opened the staff said it would take up to 10 minutes to make the two pizzas but offered us a place to sit while it was cooked. The food was average for their pizzas.

Pizza turned up hour and a half late and even then it was cold. Done with them, lost themselves a customer.

If it was possible I would give 0 stars, 3 orders in the last week and every single one came wrong. In fact, one of them came wrong twice! Useless store.

A very disappointing experience. I expected a reasonable wait but after an hour I called Dominos, cancelled and ordered from Pizza Express using Deliveroo.

Avoid at all costs. I am a huge fan on dominoes but this feels like a completely different takeaway altogether. Ordered online and the pizza tracker said it was ready to collect. Went in and after a couple of minutes one of the surly looking staff said it was just coming out the oven-not hello how are you today just that. I waited another 20 minutes, then had a hard time trying to get the attention of any staff member who were just standing around chatting, doing nothing. My food had been sat there the whole time going cold with flies around. I asked for the three dips i had ordered only to be told i had not. I proved it when i had to show them my online order but i dont appreciate being called a liar and argued with! Paid the ridiculous amount of money, got home and tucked in to find barely any topping, maybr about four slices of pepper and a couple of squares of onion. It was freezing cold and almost tasted stale. Not a pleasant experience and will not make the mistake of using Chichester branch again

When claiming a free pizza the staff were more than happy to make it for us around the toppings that we wanted. Within 15 minutes the pizza was done and was made from scratch, considering that we went there when the restaurant had just opened. There is also a seating area which is good since people can wait in there when it gets colder.

Apsolutely awful service... 2hr wait.... Online app says it was cooked over an hour ago... No answer from the store... Constantly rings.. Angaged tone or they do pick up and put you straight on hold and leave you there....when it did arrive it was stone cold, dry and awful.... Don't bother with this branch... . Go to Pizza hut...

About time ! They have gone from 0 stars to 4 in one leap! Previously this was a dire place to go too with a rude arrogant and disrespectful Manager who was in my opinion a disgrace to Dominoes. It resulted in a complaint to HQ which I have to say was dealt with effectively.

When you pay a huge amount for a pizza, you expect good food of which it's okay! But when you walk through the door as the only customer in there and get ignored by the copious amount of staff they employ, isn't the best of feeling maybe you need to train your staff in better customer service, it's only for the few minutes your in there well I say few but sometimes it takes forever... the staff are not very nice or professional at all...
