I thought I'd venture out my comfort zone and try a different pizza, and as expected I had nothing to fear because it was delicious as always!

In general, the atmosphere and pizzas are very nice, we also tried tiramisu for dessert and we liked it very much. If you are in Leicester and want to eat quality pizza, I definitely recommend it.

Went here on a Monday afternoon, quiet. Nice relaxed cultural music, guitar and chill out. Good window views of the high Street and friendly waiters /waitresses. Ordered a tomato and basil pizza with different cheese. It was tasty and simple.. Went down nicely 🙂 Thanks for a fresh meal and vibe 🍴👍

What a lovely place with good food and very nice atmosphere. Their pizza never disappoints, always fresh and tasty. Homemade tiramisu is delicious too. We will be back soon.

We went at lunchtime as a birthday treat for my son. The pizzas were average. The place wasn’t clean. Dirty around door areas where they had been opened. Toilet doors also dirty and smelt heavily of urine. Staircase down to toilet was dirty and very dusty underneath.

We went for dinner on Wednesday and Sergio was excellent. He really took care of us and our allergies

Great quality pizza and a very fair price. Toppings are interesting and the quality of ingredients are clearly top class. Great service and care from Emily our waitress who made sure we had all we needed and was very polite and courteous.

I've eaten both takeaway and at their restaurant several times, and it's been always amazing. I have a diary allergy and they are always great at making any modifications needed. All the staff is very friendly. Definitely one if not the best pizza place in Chichester.

Just had 2nd evening in a row eating at Franco Manca in Chichester. Long days working locally meant we wanted a good meal. Food is awesome but I have to mention our waitress, Emily. She is fantastic. A real character, fantastic personality and good sense of humour. If you want a good evening out with good food, go to Franco Manca. If you want a good experience too, ask for Emily to be your waitress

Had a great lunch meal today, Szymon served us and he was so friendly and attentive! He recommended us some great options that were so tasty. I got the meat special with some changes due to szymons recommendations and it was bloody delicious. Food was great but the service was even better, will definitely come again!

KIDS DO NOT EAT FREE! Deeply disappointed that a quick google gave me the below results (see image) so I assumed kids eat free deal would be in place. I had mentioned it in the booking form and to be fair the restaurant had emailed but terrible signal in Chichester means I hadn’t seen it. How many others would book and not check in advance. You have to dig really deep on the website to find out that only TEN stores nationwide do the kids eat free promo during the summer holidays. Anyway - great pizza but single star because Franco Manca should be able to handle the promotion nationwide or not at all - sorry if this review penalises the Chichester store unfairly, I’d review head office if I could 😅

Went for lunch today. Had a Margarita pizza( I am a vegetarian) The pizza tasted great until I tasted some chorizo or salami on my next bite! I haven’t eaten meat for years absolutely disgusting and shocking! The waitress confirmed the chef had obviously not been very careful and offered our food for free. She was very apologetic but this really is not acceptable. Very careless of the chef. Offered two free pizzas to return !!

Food is delicious and cocktails lovely despite presentation being boring. It wasn’t that busy but waiting staff seemed harangued and forgot about us ordering more drinks.

Olives were gorgeous there, I would definitely recommend, additionally I love a sourdough pizza. However, I was quite underwhelmed by the actual pizza itself. It lacked a balance of flavours and was quite dry. But the ingredients used were really great! It was a shame. Additionally, the server we had was quite flat in her tone and demeanour, she didn’t really seem like she wanted to be there. It bought the whole experience down a notch. Other than that, it was a lovely location.

Had a great meal. Serge our server was super attentive and even when my daughter changed her mind regarding her ice cream choice, he quickly rectified it before their was tears! Luca the chef one word superb.

Came for lunch yesterday was pretty quiet but the atmosphere was lovely, really friendly staff, and even the chef said hello and goodbye to us. The food was awesome lovely pizzas , good toppings . Will be back soon :)

Very disappointed with the overall experience. We had booked a table for Saturday lunchtime. On arrival a disgruntled waiter eventually bothered to show us to a table. It wasn't a reserved one which we were surprised about. On seating and giving us the menus, which were covered in greasy finger marks, he said he would return to take our drinks order. After around 15 minutes still no drinks order was taken. The restaurant wasn't too busy, I tried several times to get any waiter/waitress's attention, but no joy. After which we decided to leave. The tables were dirty and many tables were waiting to be cleaned. We won't be returning.

Went to Chichester today for a family day out and to see my daughter had a lovely meal very welcoming staff and food was fantastic very tasty the pizza base was light as air and full of flavour I would highly recommend anyone to give it a try five people eat and was about £70

A really good gluten free pizza base, nice and crispy but soft inside, though this is not suitable for coeliacs (cooked in the same pizza ovens as normal pizzas).

We had a great time in Franco Manca celebrating my partner's birthday. We were served by a tall manager who was friendly and made sure we feel special. Pizza number 9 was our favourite, so fresh and tasty. Please do not skip their homemade tiramisu. We will definitely be back soon :)

Lovely pizza, friendly staff made you feel welcome.

We ordered pizza, one chicken and one veg with added anchovies for my partner. A bottle of tap water and one lemonade. The pizza base was so tough we had to tear it , the quantity of toppings were barely anything to shout about. No real flavour apart from the fresh chilli which was blistering to say the least. All in all 60 quid for nothing too exciting..we both aren't convinced so not returning anytime soon.

Great food, good service, only minus is the noticeable price hike since our last visit. Given how absurdly cheap it is to make sourdough pizzas at this volume, it comes across as greedy.

I had heard a lot of how good it was so myself and my partner decided to go for lunch. We were quickly taken to our table where we ordered drinks whilst we read the menu. Our drinks were delivered and we ordered our food. The pizza is made to order which ensured it was hot when delivered to our table. We both had vegetarian and the pizzas were delicious I couldn't finish mine and was given the option to take the rest with me which I did. Overall it was a good place to go for lunch and I would recommend it without question.

Easter Monday, not too busy but rather noisy. We ordered three Margherita pizzas, one vegan with added mixed wild mushrooms as it was one of the “specials” of the day, one with added burrata and one with extra tomato paste. The mixed wild mushrooms were not the typical porcini, oysters etc but rather what looked like very thinly sliced closed cup mushrooms, you needed a magnifying glass to see them. They use the cheddar-like Violife vegan cheese, which has a rather strong smell and overpowering taste. I couldn’t taste the mushrooms at all. There are better mozzarella substitutes out there, like Mozzarisella. The dough was ok, a bit chewy. They add an extra service charge and charge for every extra topping, even if you ask for one “instead of” another. Total for three pizzas and three soft drinks £52.36 . Friendly service, noisy environment, pizzas nothing special. As an Italian who worked in a pizzeria in the past, I was expecting better, sorry

Decent basic Italian pizza. Good cocktails, house beers on tap. Good value. Perfect fir a quick lunch if you have children with you.

The pizza was very nice but the service was just awful. We waited a while to be served, and when we finally were, our waitress didn't seem to care what our order was. We asked what the specials were as we couldn't see the board, and she said she "couldn't remember". She didn't offer to go and check for us, it was a very odd attitude. Our food took ages to arrive, and when we were trying to get the bikl and pay, it was like we were invisible. It's a shame because I love Franco Manca pizza but the service really let the whole experience down.

went to the chichester restaurant on a saturday afternoon,a birthday gift from my son,the young gentleman that served us was very attentive and professional as was the manager. The food arrived promptly minus the side salad,when my wife enquired about the salad the young girl who brought our order rolled her eyes and eventually it arrived at our table. We thought it should have arrived at the same time but that wasn't the case,we were then subject to cutlery being unceremoniously thrown into the tray on the counter,which i felt was unneccasary. Although the food was good the atmosphere was somewhat lacking.would not recomend !

We popped into the Chichester branch and were served by Greta she was attentive and quick to bring our drinks and food to the table. She helped us with a takeaway order for our older daughter too. We enjoyed our evening out.

Came in today for dinner- food was delicious and service was great from Meg and Sophie. The lovely staff really made the dinner fantastic! Will definitely be coming back.

Stopped by for a Saturday evening pizza. Turn up and take your chance, no reservations. Service was good and friendly. Pizza arrived quickly. It looked good but the base was slightly underdone, particularly towards the middle. The tiramisú had good taste and texture. The place was noisy even though there were no large groups. Franco Manca has a loyalty scheme. Visit six times and buy a pizza. Input receipt codes into the App and get your next pizza free.

First time coming to this restaurant, friend who lives in the area recommended and we were given very good service by the lady who greeted us at the door and looked after very well by our waiter Szymon, who was very professional, friendly and to whom we wish the best in his future endeavours. The food was very nice, tried pesto sauce for the first time which was good. Overall a lovely visit thank you, one thing I would mention though is some form of tomato sauce and perhaps fancy chips would be a positive addition to the menu.

Had our first time here as usually go to another pizza chain. We will be returning to Franco Manca very soon as the pizzas are delicious.

Lovely restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food. Everything is fresh and tasty and it's wonderful to find a Gluten Free sourdough pizza that tastes just like a regular pizza. Staff are attentive and friendly and despite it being a busy it didn't take long for us to be seated and served. The food comes out quickly. Pizza is nice, but the topping slides off the base a little, meaning you sometimes lose the lovely buffalo mozzarella. I'd definitely come back here! Accessibility: level access entry (manual doors which are a little heavy/awkward to open). I had no difficulties navigating around the space in my electric wheelchair. The staff were helpful in moving chairs and finding a suitable space for our party of two. A fully wheelchair accessible toilet is available just to the back of the store (it's not well signposted - the main bathrooms are downstairs so if you don't ask, you might not realise they have an accessible bathroom). Unfortunately, they stack their highchairs in the hallway leading to the bathroom, so it was difficult to get around them. But, by the time I exited the bathroom, someone had moved them so I could get by - attentive staff. Many thanks!

Was impressed when I called to book. Lovely, helpful tone to the girl who took my booking. Greeted as we arrived and asked to wait a moment to be seated. (this is often overlooked in some places). The starter was a little pricey for what it was but the pizzas (no 5 and no 10) were delicious! Fresh and huge. The waitresses and waiter were all friendly, polite, professional and worked so hard. We even had our photo taken with Valentino the chef, afyer a cheeky little joke (not to be shared on here I'm afraid). If we're allowed back, we'll certainly return. Thanks and happy Christmas to the team.

Ordered through just eat. Answered the phone to the delivery driver came down stairs straight away, was just left at reception and I wasn't aware. Freezing cold food, was going to take it back to the restaurant but was closed then to add to it, the pizzas weren't even cut and the pesto dip is actually a watercress pesto not a basil pesto and not described on menu. A take away and can't even eat the cold food. Wouldn't recommend. Wasted £30. Couldn't take back, couldn't call up to try and get this sorted. Absolute piss take.

Oh dear. It was going well, pizza good the manger pleasant and professional. Pizza chef nice person. However when bill came they added a sneaky service charge ( Optional). This really spoilt the meal. Let the customer decide, I was asked why? By the annoyed waitress Maybe the word ( Optional )Just remove this then you get the tips you deserve. Do not assume, I am sure many customers don't see this then add additional tip. Therefore never again to any of your restaurants..very angry at this scam.

Came here today having never been to a Franco Manca before the pizza was for my daughter but I stole some have to say that’s one of the best pizza have ever had and I just came back from Italy , had a lovely chat with the chef who was really nice , Garlic sauce was great to the only disappointing thing is £7.00 for 2 small bottles of Coke this is criminal imo but I doubt il ever be in Chichester again 😂 so hey ho

Straight to the point, the staff were having a chat when we came in and 5 minutes later we were still waiting. We caught a member of staffs attention and eventually one came over, we asked for a table for 4 and was told he would have a look. I mentioned the table for 4 by the window ( 3 empty tables also available) which was in the same mess as when we arrived 10 minutes ago. Almost begrudgingly he cleared the table but didn't even both to show us over to it. We sat ourself down and waited another 10 minutes before a staff member appeared. Drinks came up with both the wine and Prosecco served in water glasses ( the sparkly under half fell ). The pizzas we so sparsely covered you could see the base, by wife's pizza which had a basil topping had ONE leaf, my extra artichoke hearts was 3 wafer thin slices, so thin they actually had no taste. We didn't dare ask for desserts but did try the coffee, you guessed it, 2 flat whites turned up in water glasses which needed several paper napkins wrapped around them. Wrapping this sorry tale up, lazy uninterested staff, poor pizzas and joke extra toppings. Recommendations to the management, invest in decent servers, proper glasses and a chef that knows how to cook a decent pizza. My best recommendation, go somewhere else to spend your hard earned money, there are plenty of great places to eat in Chichester, but none worse. Just out of interest was telling my son who lives in Birmingham this sorry tale but couldn't remember the name, he immediately said Franco Manca and said he had almost exactly the same experience and wouldn't be going again.

Popped in for a quick lunch on a sleepy Monday. Shared a pizza and side salad. The side salad was a good size and, for a little bit of green, was enough for both of us. The pizza was tasty, the staff pleasant and attentive. My only criticism is that the sauce and toppings didn't go to the edge... there was a lot of crust.

Poor all round from a service point of view. Was hard to get staff attention, zero check ins without us getting them over, ordered drinks that never arrived. They did find time to see if we wanted to join the loyalty scheme though. Even had to get them to correct the bill at the end. Food was absolutely wonderful though!

Good pizza - tasty and fresh. The restaurant needs to invest in some wine glasses: serving wine in water glasses just isn’t right. The service was very poor. They were nice young people who were trying hard but management clearly don’t have a clue (or don’t care) about training them properly. It was one of the few times I’ve refused to pay the optional service charge on the bill. Such a shame - we’d hoped that we’d found a nice place to have a pizza in Chi. Probably won’t be back.

The food was VERY SALTY and the menu is very difficult to understand nothing made sense and don't even bother with the tiramisu

We popped into this chain restaurant after an afternoon shopping. We had a marvellous meal and whilst down stairs this mattered not Zak our server was very knowledgable even though the new menu had only recently been introduced he worked so hard on his own but did a blinding job. Chris was warm and welcoming and had great charisma. Food wise . No bowls for the Olive bones . No vanilla geleta due to supply issues. Wine selection whilst limited was great complment to the food offerings Vegan meatballs were tasty but not formed and disappointing for the price. Platters were very satisfying and pizzas were amazing but with limitations to the toppongs available eg described with fresh basil and presented with one leaf !! Chilli oil had poke ;) Well done to a chain that is clearly built on their staff

I wish we’d got the name of our waiter as he should get a special mention ! My daughter and I popped in tonight ( me for the first time ) and it was an enjoyable experience from start to finish . The pizzas were as good as any that we’ve had in Italy, service was quick and most importantly for me, the whole team seemed really happy in their work ! So important . I hope these comments get passed on to the staff ( and our waiter) A great incentive to visit again ! Great food /Happy Vibes
