after changing the name , it is still the worst kebab shop i have ever visited , they couldnt even cook chips properly !

Just had the most awfull kebab. I didn't get what I ordered. Really unfriendly. Everything was wrong and the sauce was awfull. Avoid at all cost as they don't know how to make a kebab and even worse they couldn't give a f....

Absolutely piss poor again for the third visit in a row. They don’t understand English so your order is wrong every time. Used to be good. Only place round here for a kebab but would rather keep to fish and chips. They need to get someone who can speak English

We know it has changed names from box rocks to Flames or something and this is by far the worst place for food. Even the obnoxious bloke serving with his silly ear piece will make u not want to order.I like the ways the pick up raw chicken put on the grill and then turn people burgers over.Even the kebabs are bad and also ours had plastic in. Stay away and hope one day someone will open a kebab shop up that’s decent.

Cross-contamination - we saw staff handling money then moving straight on to prepping food, raw fish then cooked meats. Customer service was very abrupt. Food orders were wrong, cold and inedible.

It's really shocking how this place is able to remain open - Yet another one that has a Hygeine Rating of just 1 and this is provided by the FSA (Food Standard Agency).

hygene is very poor have contacted environmental health over this. staff will go straight from handling money, to putting toppings on pizza. I have never witnessed any of the staff washing their hands even after being outside for a smoke

Service always good but burger was overcooked and pizza was undercooked Kebab meat was rubbery. Chicken shish was great though

Popped in as looked good from the outside. Our order was messed up food cold tasted nasty. chillies and salad were limp and we had spent over £30 and had to ask for our free bottle of drink and coleslaw.The staff were disinterested in us as customers bordering on rude. We will not be returning here again

We've used this take away several times since moving to the area. Each time the food has been well presented and tasty. Waiting time was acceptable and would recommend.

They make mistakes all the time. Food is really bad quality and customer service quite rude.... Avoid this place....

We came here today, and to be fair it was one of the nicest looking kebab shops I have been too, we was all going to order individual kebabs, but instead we saw an offer that said 'choice of two cold starters (humous, coleslaw or salad) 1 12" pizza, medium doner, small chicken shish, small lamb shishe, and a kofte kebab. 2x chips, 4 pitta and a bottle of drink £25.95. when we ordered we asked specifically about the kebabs. When we left we got back and the kebabs were put into one box, looked like dogs meat, dry and not even enough for 4 kebabs, the humous has a whole heap of wet salad on top (you don't even eat salad with humous!!!!) the pitta breads weren't cut so we ended up having to tear them apart as the were over microwaved and soggy and the pizza was so greasy with to much 'fake' cheese. The coleslaw was definetly not 'homemade' as stated on the menu.

No la comida es fresca y en realidad fronteras - línea comestible. Me hizo sentir muy divertido y puedo decir que no volveré. Incluso en el momento, tenía mis reservas, pero tontos, pedí de todos modos.

Visited here on holiday, on ordering the 3 guys were not very friendly, just took my order without any friendly customer service. The kebabs were on ok standard but may have been over cooked a little. Chips tasted like they may have been sitting out near the fryer for a bit before being cooked. Couldnt find many choices for a decent kebab in the area.

Always use box rocks when down in selsey, great food and quick delivery always on hand to help if anything is wrong with your order. Will deliver to campsite which is great as don't have to go out when your away. The pizza's are great to not to much tomato purée.

Would be 0 stars but can't do that!! Ordered a big order for the whole family so spent quite a lot of money, they missed out one meal and 2 cans of drink, rang up and got told if we wanted it we would have to pay again!! Got garlic bread (payed for cheesy and didn't even come with cheese) 3 out of 6 of the slices had mould on them and the other 3 where so burnt they where not edible!! Also ordered a pizza and most the slices had mould on them (have pictures so will be taking it further!!) all the food was tasteless, lamb didn't taste anything like lamb! Don't order from here unless you want to pay for stuff you don't get and want to be violently ill! Worst kebab shop I've ever ordered from, needs to be shut down!! Staff where also extremely rude!!

Blunt and basically rude server that doesn't listen properly to what you say, then accuses you of not telling him properly. Food looks reasonable until you get to eat it then you realise it's awful. Pizza seems to be the best option cos there's not much they can do to that other than burn it of course. I usually avoid Kebabs and this has probably confirmed that I will be doing so for a long time to come. Plenty of really good alternatives in Selsey so try them all before you even think of entering this establishment.

As we live in the village, we thought we would try it. We have used Box rocks a few times and was ok with it. As time has gone on, the service has worsened to much to keep going back. Silly deliveries and the quality has gone down hill slowly. We no longer use this service. I have tried to make this honest as possible, some nights are good, others...well let's leave it there.

Worst kebab I have ever eaten... Gave my order they done 4 of the kebabs then told me they didn't have enough meat for the 5th and I would have to wait... Then forgot to put my chips in the bag and when we got back to our caravan we had 4 cold kebabs and one hot one .... Meat was full of bones ! Gross !!

Phone mannerisms (awful,rude and blunt) Food.. (dry and generally vile)... The man who answered was so rude and has no customer service skills at all. When the food arrived (we ordered for 5 people) and we all agree the food was disgusting and dry and generally tastes weird!. Just avoid this place

Had a lamb kofte here and firstly it was stone cold. Secondly it tasted nothing like lamb and I'm pretty sure it was actually chicken. Thirdly within 2 hours I was violently ill and had food poisoning. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

Avoid this kebab house. Ordered large everything expecting a good size meal but was very disappointed in portion size and quality. Also meat was burnt. Dog didn't even want to eat it!

Worse "kebab" ive had - shouldn't even be classed as a kebab restaurant, had better food from the chilled section of the local petrol station. Do your self s favour and cook some toast instead

I think the prices are a bit on the expensive side. The kebabs are good and the kids love the pizzas.

Was here yesterday we'll have to say how much better it is now under new management great food and great customer service. Good prices. Check out there special offers!!!!

Food is dreadful, I last went probably early part of this year and it was just a disgrace. Multiple rank pizzas that my friend orders when I go and visit, once I had a burger and it was cold and soggy and just generally rank. Do yourself a favour and get a curry from Jabir or something.

Had three different Pizzas all tasted virtually the same, very very bland, ordered by phone and had someone answer with a very poor telephone manner, do they think because it is a holiday village that they have a captive customer, no, will just go somewhere where they do want you to be their customer.Advise, don't bother trying it to see if it is as bad as I say.

very hit and miss. ive asked for one dish and ended up with something completely different. and watching from the counter side while they prepare your order a course of hygene would not go amiss;

Burgers poor quality and buns broke up.The whole thing did not look or taste good even the chips tasted bad.We both vowed "never again" as we had tried before and were not impressed then.

This shop sells more different type of fudge then you can imagine, all cut to order and weighed while you wait. Good service and friendly staff. The only problem with this shop is you come back to get presents to take home for the family but its not always open so grab what you need while you can :)

I would defo go here again. Now under new manger ment and old man gone. Food and service much much better I would recommend anyone to try again now. Well worth money and they special offer 3 two 9"pizza 2cans 1ben and Jerry ice cream £15.95

We decided to have a kebab and pizza for dinner, I ordered a Chicken kebab with shredded cabbage, salad and plenty of garlic sauce. Along with 3 pizza's, cheesy garlic bread and chips. We asked for a home delivery and we were told it would be here in half and hour.The total came to around £35. It all arrived in around 40 minutes. The kids delved into the pizza's, who all said it was tasteless and the base was slightly rubbery / chewy / soggy. The tomato sauce was totally tasteless. And the small amount of cheese was barely noticeable. The meat was fatty. Not good pizza's.The kebab on the other hand arrived with luke warm chicken - obviously it had been sitting around. There was no shredded cabbage, the garlic sauce, obviously they had got to the bottom of the bottle and the pitta bread was soaked in oil from the chicken. It really was a disgusting meal. It wasn't worth calling them up as i had read other reviews on the place and they weren't good. The garlic bread was nice and the chips were a bit old, obviously been refried. WE WILL NOT BE GOING BACK.
