Dolce Italia in Rushmoor

Had an amazing evening last week celebrating my Leap Year birthday in this wonderful restaurant. There were 28 of us and the staff were so efficient and friendly. Obviously for the amount of people that night we sent our pre-orders and everythingg was perfect Everyone enjoyed their evening. Have eaten here a few times before and its always been excellent Would thoroughly recommend this "proper" italian restaurant.

This is an amazing family run restaurant have been there years all ways something different and wonderful on the specials board and different things all year around dose take away as well

We chose this restaurant as we were in Farnborough for the half marathon. What a great choice, a proper family run authentic Italian Restaurant. The food was excellent, as was the wine. Thoroughly recommended.

Not like it. The pasta not done, pizza undone... non alcoholic drinks very bad, not even an orange fresh ...

Early dinner meal with work colleague. We were early birds, lovely welcome by both lady and chef, very friendly. Service was good, no hassle at all. We had starters from the Specials board, Scampi which was a little bland and Crab claws which were great (so my friend tell me!) For mains we had Pork Escalope from the Special board, this was a little tough and could have been better quality, my friend had the Spaghetti Mare which was described as fabulous. Perhaps I just choose the wrong meals! House red was fine, prices decent (be careful of the automatic 10% service charge which I asked to be removed, but I still left a decent tip!) and of course, that friendly Italian service was great. Overall a lovely place, mixed review on the food but the menu is plenty and varied.

We’ve visited many times over the years and never once have we had a bad night. They are a lovely couple who run the business! It’s a very warm and welcoming place with a nice selection of dishes to try. The pizza here is wonderful!! They are small so come early to avoid disappointment.

Been working in Farnborough for over four years now I was told about this restaurant. went in tonight to get a takeaway of calamari and a margarita pizza 10/10 great food just like mama 😊❤️

Walked through the rain to get to this restaurant in what appeared to be a side street in a residential area. I'm sure that Farnborough has a centre but we did not find it. We were warmly welcomed and had a good meal. It is perhaps a pity that the puddings seemed to be bought in rather than home made but that is a quibble - the quality is good. There were plenty of other diners and a happy atmosphere

Many thanks for looking after my wife and I. The atmosphere was lovely and the food was so good. The resturant happily accommodated my wife's 'off menu' order. I felt like I was on holiday in the Mediterranean. I'd definitely visit again.

Last minute decision to eat out and decided on revisiting somewhere I've not been in about 15 years. Still owned by same couple, quiet evening in restaurant tonight but gave us a chance to chat to owner/hostess. Food was amazing and welcome warm and friendly. It felt like walking into an old friends home, so comfortable and lovely. Food was fresh, light and tasty.

First time back in around 15 years, life's just past by. Last minute decision to eat out and so glad we need, host was lovely and food amazing, friendly place will not leave so long next time. It was like walking into an old friends home for dinner ❤️

I visited the restaurant on Friday evening for a family birthday meal. My wife and I have visited many times over the years and have always been happy with both the service and welcome. This visit was very different I feel. In line with many restaurants currently the prices have gone up, quite considerably I’m afraid. Aside from this the portion sizes seem to have decreased. I was left hungry after my starter and main. I had a salmon tagliatelle for my main which was very small, it could have been a starter! I cannot complain about the service, other then the main meal followed the starter so quick you were left with the feeling they wanted you out. Sorry but there are many good Italian restaurants around and in the past I have liked the family approach this one used. Sadly that no longer seems the case.

We had a wonderful meal here last night. Comfortable surroundings and very accommodating and friendly staff. Best tiramisu I've had in a long time. So flavoursome and so light 😍 The lady serving us could not have been nicer and was really warm and attentive. Overall the food was a 4/5 but you get what you pay for - this is very affordable and very good for the price. Calamari was in a light batter and still just soft enough. The pizza base was excellent but could have been cooked a fraction longer for some colour on the crusts and the topping was plentiful but a little bland (quatro stagioni). It was the perfect meal after go karting locally 👍 Will come back if I'm in the area again, thank you!

The food is amazing, so fresh and so much flavour. Everything from the house wine all the way to the tiramisu for dessert was perfect, will definitely be back! 10/10

Dolce Italia , a lovely place to wine and dine the food is outstanding and the staff are fabulous and clearly take pride in making sure their customers are enjoying themselves and their meals , my partner and myself went their on our first date and had home made lasagna and garlic bread with the house wine , a year later for our anniversary we returned to dolce Italia to live that special moment again and it was again perfection , highly recommend 👍

True old school Italian. Authentic Italian pizza and perfectly cooked pasta. Classic Italian wine, lagers &service. Limoncello served from the fridge & classic expresso in a pre warmed cup. No faults here unless your searching which you shouldn't! Book ahead to save being disappointed.

The welcoming owners and the food was great. We got there to early, this wasn't a problem for the staff they served us amazing food and where baby friendly.

I went out for dinner with my mum as we have just moved to the area. We love a good Italian but getting bored of similar places like Zizzi and Pizza Express. Dolce Italia were so, so welcoming and despite the restaurant being very busy on a Saturday night, the service was very prompt and efficient. Lots of selection on the menus, and my god, the food was amazing. The best spag bol I've had in a long time, and they were very happy to pile on the cheese when I asked. Lots of specials on the blackboards which provide even more options than the menu. My mum's veal looked like it had come out of a fine-dining restaurant. They had run out of a certain dessert but made me something very similar and just as tasty. Very welcoming staff, who frequently checked in with us. We ended up having three courses, which were all superb. The atmosphere is cosy and nice, we felt as if we were on holiday in Italy! Very well priced to, as the quality is so high you really get what you pay for! We will definitely be regulars!

My partner and I went here on a Friday night. When we called to book a table, we were given an option to come in slightly later, which we didn't mind, but my gosh you can see why. When we arrived the place was completely filled. Atmosphere was lovely, the owner was very inviting and warm towards everyone that came through the door. You could tell there were a lot of regulars in there, which is always a positive sign. The food was amazing, my partner and I both agreed it was the best pasta we had ever eaten. Very authentic, complimented with lots of taste. The service was brilliant too. We will definitely be returning.

Really nice little place. Tables are well spaced apart so not on top of each other. Good choice on the menu so not spending wll night choosing. Maybe a few options for sides would be nice though? Very good quality food and really tasty. Portion sizes are a little on the small side but still enough

After reading a few reviews online, we decide to check the place out after a day out nearby. Very tasty pizza and the host are very friendly. Definitely will visit again in the future if we are in the area.

What a lovely Italian cafe which serves well cooked food and, take it from me, has the experience of dinner at nonna's House. Our server was Paula, who is as charming and fun as she is efficient. Their tiny kitchen turns out some delicious food.

I tend to eat here once a week atm and am happy to do so. Staff are friendly, happy to chat or leave to yourselves, which ever suits you. Food is great, I've tried most, if not everything on the menu and not had anything I've not enjoyed. Well priced also.

This review is for takeaway. Great food, decent thin crust pizza that's not dripping in oil. Good prices and ready when they said it would be. Whenever I've picked up food from here it's always busy inside and looks like a good atmosphere.

Just had a lovely evening there and food was delicious.

From the outside this place doesn’t look like much but inside, despite the plastic tablecloths, it does have a very cosy, authentic Italian feel! Then add to that the fabulous front of house service, and delicious Italian food and you’ve got yourselves a winning combination. We will most definitely be back - and will definitely bring the children next time as they will love the pizzas!

Lovely little Italian Diner, with many traditional dishes, along with Sea Bass, Veal, Pork and Chicken options on a menu that offers mamy choices, including vegetarian.Our choices included Starters of, White Bait and Avocado and bacon salad.Mains, that included beautifully fresh Sea Bass with fresh vegetables and two pasta dishes. We also saw promising Pizzas, garlic bread and Risottos being served at other tables.No hesitation in recommending this place, which was good value for the money with an authentic Italian atmosphere, promoted by the proprietors. Pricing was "Middle of the Road".

We visited on Saturday night with family - ranging from 4 months. The restaurant is a great find. Very traditional Italian feel. Excellent choice on the set menu and a wide range on the specials board...although these did keep getting "rubbed off" whilst we were looking through the menu. Service from the 2 waiting team was quick and cheery. Food came quickly and was lovely and hot. Pizza was large and a bit over facing for our 6 year old but a box to take it away meant daddy could finish it for super! We didn't have space for desserts but as these looked like "bought in" ice-based and a little overpriced for what they were we didn't bother. Overall a very pleasant night out and nice to support a family restaurant rather than a chain pizzeria. Will definitely visit again

6 of us sampled this lovely family run restaurant in North Camp. Food was totally delicious as was the wine(Chianti) and worked out at £45 per head. Will be going back as very friendly.
